Mochi Ball Soup (w/ Ginger Soup)
Brandon A.

Everyone needs to know about this place! After dinner, my wife and I went to get dessert. She ordered the mochi ball soup (w/ ginger soup) . The soup was saturated with a deep ginger flavor and mochi balls were filled with delicious sesame and peanut flavor. The strawberry & mango frost had fresh fruit on the side and you could taste real fruit inside the frost. All the mochi felt homemade and made you feel you were in Japan. The frost was unique like eating chewy ice. Highly recommended!

Refreshing dessert in Aiea, O'ahu, Hawai'i... When I visited the King Street, Honolulu, location of Frostcity, I was a bit disappointed. That place needed a renovation! LOL! It seemed rather cramped and lacking in something... In comparison, this second location of Frostcity is 100 percent better! The interior is bright, spacious, cute (there's a claw machine with kawaii plushies), clean, and modern! Thanks for the air-conditioning! Service was cheerful, sweet, and efficient! I ordered the dairy-free lilikoi (passionfruit). It came with fresh fruits and delicious, soft chichi dango mochi! The flavors are frozen into the ice, so it stays flavorful during the entire visit! It was a wonderful ending to a fun day!

The cool treat... If ever youre' in the Aiea area check out Frostcity newest location in the Aiea Town Square and is right beside Dipped by Dee and as this area is filled with various eateries parking can be a challenge though with a little bit of walk you're sure to find a stall nearby. I love the vibe at this shop it's so bight and cheerful with a claw game right near the front door and as we took a glance at the plushies noticed that with some social posting you can earn free tokens for free play is cool and tempting but I didn't see any reachable cuties for me to take home and decided to pass. What I didn't pass on was their Frost and it was definitely Green Tea which has "popular" icon besides it is promising and that the flavor is in the ice not only makes it uniquely flavorful and that it comes with fresh fruits pineapple and watermelon with chunks of mochi is a sight to behold and though that I couldn't finish the small size did quite well as it was very light and fluffy like a cloud. The staff here is so nice and friendly as she borough our frost to our table the vibe is so bright and nice here in this new spot and happy to have found a place in Aiea that's literally cool! Thank you!

New Location - Aiea Stopped by and had our favorite Tai Basil. The stars are for the taste of this locations Tai Basil It's not as strong and flavorful. It's ok if you never had this before. We have always had the tai basil that Lyn the original owner made. Again I still liked it but I Love the original flavor. Guess I'll be going back to king street location. This place is convenient - lots of parking and lots of tables and chairs here. That's the good part.

Frost City definitely brings back memories from their old location by UH. Not shaved ice, yogurt, or ice cream but somewhat in between. This location is so cute and clean! Menu consists of different frosts, smoothies, and boba drinks. All frosts come with toppings such as fresh fruit, boba, and more. Portions are big so you can share. We decided on getting the strawberry and mango frost which came with mochi, watermelon, and grapes. It was so yummy and refreshing especially how hot summer has been. It's way better than what I remember. Service is so friendly as well. It's been almost 10 years since we last had Frost City. Now that they're located in Aiea, we'll definitely be going more often.

Super Fruit Mix Tea ($6.75/ea)

I loved going to the Frostcity in town since I was a kid and I was so glad to hear that they opened up a location in Aiea - closer for those that live on the West side! The Aiea location is very spacious and can accommodate multiple small groups. They're open til 10pm and it's perfect for when you're craving something sweet at night or just want somewhere to hang out with friends after dinner! There's also a claw machine inside and they have a promotion going on where if you post something related to Frostcity on your social media, you get two FREE tokens for the claw machine. I was able to win one plushie with it! In terms of snow ice, they're the same great quality as the location in town. The snow ice is super fluffy and delicate. The regular-sized snow ices come with mochi and a variety of fruit on the side (not too sure if it's the same with the smaller size?). You can definitely share a regular size between two people. In terms of drinks, I've only tried the Super Fruit Mix Tea so far. It's very refreshing and not too sweet! For that particular drink, I'd recommend not adding any toppings because there's a lot of fruit in it already.

Shaved ice meets ice cream! The perfect treat for a hot day! I first had Frost City around 10 years ago and was so sad when I couldn't find it again. I'm so glad it popped back up and this time, near me! I say this is a cross between shaved ice & ice cream because they put frozen fruit juices into the shaver and is thinly shaven. It's creamy, light, and refreshing! My hubby loves strawberry and I love mango so the Strawberry Mango Combo was the perfect treat! I also love that it came with fresh fruit- grapes and watermelon and mochi. To top off our experience, the place was super clean, the workers were so kind and helpful-they moved the tables for us since we had a big party and said to leave our dishes and they'd clean up after us. Lastly, they have a claw machine and there was a sign that said if we followed, posted a photo, and showed the staff, we would get 2 free tokens! Although we didn't win anything, it was still a fun experience. Overall, we will definitely be back to try more of their menu!

Across from Palazzo restaurant & a few doors down from Dipped by Dee. Plenty of seating, spacious & clean. There's a claw machine as well. Neat menu. The bowls come with watermelon, pineapple & mochi cubes. Tasty, refreshing & esthetically pleasing! Service was friendly & prompt. They have a stamp card too! Buy 10 get & get $5 off!!

Lilikoi frost

I didn't expect to enjoy the Lilikoi frost as much as I did! We were looking for a light dessert after a heavy meal, and Frostcity was right across. The lilikoi frost was so light, airy, and the perfect mix of tart but sweet. The fresh fruit was also yummy and paired well with the ice :)

I wish this was available where I live. It's the best and I consider myself an expert in shave ice style desserts. I seek them out whenever I am. Frost City is the absolute best that even locals don't know they need.

This new dessert spot is hidden in a small shopping center in Aiea. My friend and I were shopping at Pearlridge and were craving dessert. There aren't too many dessert places open later in the night so we were limited in our choices. I looked on Yelp and found that Frostcity had recently opened an Aiea location! I've been to the town location and really liked it so we decided to come here. The inside of this place is so clean and bright. I ordered a strawberry watermelon mix and my friend ordered a strawberry and chocolate mix. We were surprised with the fresh fruits and how silky the ice tasted. It was so refreshing and hit the spot on a hot summer night! Will definitely be back to try their other flavors. Hopefully more dessert places will stay open later as well!

Came in on a Sunday night and it wasn't busy. We usually go to the town location but wanted to check out their new one since we were in the area! There is a pretty spacious parking lot and the new location is beautiful! There's many tables and even a cute claw machine. My boyfriend and I got our favorite, the strawberry & mango combo which was so perfectly refreshing. It's not too sweet and comes with fresh fruits and mochi. Can't wait to be back when we are in the area!

The place is clean and well kept. Spacious, they're quick and very polite. But the Coffee Shave Ice is bomb. Highly recommended

My family was in the area to shop over at Crafts Way and I found Fooki on Yelp as a nearby food option. It had something for everyone in our group of seven: 2 vegetarians, 1 vegan and 4 meat eaters. The restaurant had a divy vibe, cozy and welcoming. The service was very friendly and the server was incredibly knowledgable about their menu and how what made some of their dishes stand out from what's expected. First, the price was pretty high compared to the amount of food they served and the flavor of their menu. The pork rice bowl had way too much rice compared to the pork, and I think I only had half of the rice to eat with the pork on top. All the foods we ordered wasn't very flavorful either and they charged 3% for credit cards. The economy is tough right now so that may explain the card charge and the portion size but I don't think I'll be going to this place again. It was good to try but wasn't impressionable!

Service: I had a great experience at Sharetea. My orders…read morewere ready on time, and I appreciated being able to call ahead--it made everything super smooth. Finding parking was easy, which is always a plus. I also loved that there were no lines when I went around 7 p.m. on a Monday. Overall, a convenient and stress-free visit! Food: The drinks were delicious and made exactly to my specific requests. Everything tasted well-prepared. The quality and flavor were consistent with other Sharetea locations I've visited, which I really appreciate. A solid choice if you know what you like and want it made right. Ambiance: Seating is very minimal, so it's not really a place to sit and hang out. There is bar-style seating along the wall for about five people and one small table that fits two. Overall, this location seems more suited for grab-and-go rather than staying for a while.

Conveniently located in the Waimalu shopping plaza (on the side that has the Starbucks, pancakes…read moreand waffles, sidorak iii, runners HI, and the little police office where they do their paperwork I believe (make sure not to park in the designated stalls for the police officers only)). Inside is always clean and has a calm ambiance. There's little counter areas for you to sit or stand along the walls and enjoy your drinks or just a temporary area where you can poke the straw into your bubble tea so you can enjoy your drink before leaving. Customer service: The staff is friendly and welcoming. They greet you when you walk in and are able to answer questions about their menu. My favorite thing about share tea is the fact that they use non dairy options for their drinks! For those who are lactose intolerant, that fact alone plus the taste and variety of drinks is a huge plus and a win! My favorite is the Oreo with regular boba and my other half likes the mango passion fruit with clear boba!
