June of 2018 I bought a 2005 Ford Expedition from Telegraph Auto Sales. Paid $3500, and it was…read moresold "as is." The car started to sputter, jerking and reduce speed. I contacted Royal Hedges which is the son of the owner Dennis Hedges regarding the issue. He told me a several different things that it could possibly be may be a cold need to be clear it out something might be a clog something like that. I took it to a couple of mechanics to fix some small thing fixed. The lightning bolt still appeared. I still was experience the same issues he just was getting worse it started to star in shut off. When I was able to drive it which was not a lot because it sat more than I could drive it I had to pull over turn the car off sit for a while before I start it up hopefully the lightning bolt won't appear and it clears it out. I called several times Roy the sun who sold me the car was no longer working there. So I called often with my complaints to speak to the owner Dennis Hedges will relay a few messages to me through a third-party I went up there he was never there he's been avoiding all my phone calls you haven't return my phone calls. One of the last things that was told to me through a third-party was if you can get the car up here I'll see what I can do . I told him that I don't have money to tow the car and the Excelerator is just revving in a car will not drive at all. Next thing I know when I come home the car is gone. I called him and said oh I guess you guys got the car so my request to them is give me my money back or give me a car that actually runs. I also the whole time since December I didn't tell him what the problem was when I end up finding out that it was a harness issue computer issue. So I get a letter in the mail that he did repo the car and if I wanted to get my things back that I have to pay the remainder of the loan to have the car returned to me and if I had any questions give him a call. I've been calling him ever since going up there ever since he's been avoiding seeing me he's been avoiding my phone calls. They were items inside a car that I have my personal belongings and my license plate that was on the car I called and made mention of those things still have not received my personal belongings which I do believe even if he did get the car that my personal belongings supposed to be returned to me and he won't even talk to me or appear in person so I can even retrieve my items. So in conclusion I believe that their company is a rip off they don't try to work with their customers all they do is void it look like I only pay at look like I rented the car for four months for $1000 a month because they have $4000 of my money I have no car I don't have my personal items that was in the car and on the car and they won't even returning my phone calls or talk to me in person. Purchased F-350 King Ranch DRW from Jason. Asked multiple times for them to do basic service on…read moretransmissions and differentials. They refused and said that mechanic did a thorough inspection and service. Front differential, (ring, pinion, bearings), hub, axle shaft bearing, and obviously 4WD all failed less than 3000 miles from purchase due to mud and water inside which they never noticed or serviced. Definitely never serviced vehicle properly in spite of recommended service intervals. EGR Cooler also plugged within same time frame - along with driveline u joints that failed and froze. Needed $7000 in work. Truck was driven hard off road prior to purchase without any service and/or involved in a flood. Even the most basic items like the fuel filters never were serviced. Ford recommends fuel filters be changed every 22k. The fuel filter on frame was dirty and nasty - probably hadn't been changed in a very long time. Definitely not at my purchase. Had to call multiple times to get license plate as they never sent out.... finally received after temp tags expired. Will you trust A1 or their mechanic knowing that he let all this go ? Hope I help someone else from making a very poor buying choice.

I had Zingerman's (Ann Arbor Restaurateurs) come to my farm with their brand new $100,000 tractor & plow up over 2 1/2 acres and get it ready for planting. I used to be a Chef and had several restaurants owned by friends lined up waiting for me to grow unique produce for them. I was also working for the Zingerman's Produce farm hence why they were helping set up our farm. Great business and business owners! I had an old rusty dusty Ram 2500 that broke down and I needed a new truck to run the farm. I needed to haul large loads, trailers and more to really build up the farm. So I drove down to A1 in Monroe and met with Rory? or something like that. They showed me a beautiful F350 with the Triton V10. Now I was hesitant as I wanted Diesel but the deal was pretty good and the truck was in a really great condition. I figured I could use it for a few years and sell it once we saw a ROI from the farm. Well I took it home and no title for 4 months. 4 MONTHS! I couldn't drive it on the road unless I was being followed by my wife since it was not registered and had no plates. We ended up having to scrap our entire farm project as I had no other truck to get to and from sites with. I should have gotten a lawyer and sued them for Fraud. If I only knew what I know now. I'm sure this has not happened to everyone but to those out there that have been burned by this unprofessional organization I feel for you. I lost the farm, couldn't do anything without a truck! Could not afford the payments as I had to go back to work in restaurants for next to nothing. Now I have a repossession on my Credit and I cannot, 6 years later, purchase ANYTHING!
