I was an excellent customer and given this place a LOT of to-go business. No more. FOr my $100 order they gave a very small bag of chips. When I asked for more, I was told by the manager that I would be given one more t"as a one time courtesy." Chips are so inexpensive and this manager is literally stepping over dollars to save pennies. Bad job. This is not the first time it happened. I am tired of their rudeness and can no longer recommend. There are so many other restaurants for me to take my business. read more

Well, this place has fallen in service and food quality. We arrived and had to wait a while to be seated as the hostess was answering the phone nonstop. I guess their take out business is a priority to in store visitors. We finally got seated, maybe by the manager, and then no one came to help us. We watched three other tables get seated in other sections, and the waiter was all over them. They all got food on the table before us. Finally, a manager? woman comes over and apologizes for the long wait. She took our order for drinks and our meal. She had a salad, and I ordered the enchilada plate. Her salad was good. My enchilada plate left a lot to be desired. They were soggy, and the chicken was tough. The green sauce was tasty but left behind heartburn. The chips and salsa on the tabl were tasty. The red sauce had some good heat. When we were done, we could not get a check. Then another waitress showed up at the table and looked at us awkwardly, and after a brief pause, she asked if we were done. I exclaimed yes, and could we get a check? She brought it, and I gave her my card to pay, and then our original waitress came back with another check. I told her we had already given our card to another girl and paid. They seem to be short-handed and disorganized, and the to go orders may be a distraction from in person customers. It may be a while before we try them again. I hope they figure it out soon as they have been consistent in the past. read more

Very disappointed in this restaurant. I haven't been here in over a year but decided to order it on GrubHub. I ordered cheese dip and shredded chicken taco salad. The dip was extremely salty. We went out for Mexican food on Friday night. Bravos, a near by restaurant was packed with a half hour wait, so we went to Frontera. As expected, only four tables with customers in the place. First thought as we walked in is that it smelled bad. Next, they do not sell Miller Lite. My ultimate dip was refrigerator cold. They failed to bring out my refried beans. Charged me $3 for a side of jalapeños. The main reason we don't regularly come here is that Frontera is expensive. Now the quality and service are bad as well. I have been here a couple of times and both times I was really happy with the food. The chicken burrito is top notch, lots of chicken. The same goes with the chicken enchilada and the chicken tostada. The bean Burrito excellent for those vegetarian's. Great queso and fresh chips and both of their salsa are very solid. They still practice social distancing so every other booth is empty and all the staff wear a mask which makes me super happy that they care that much about their employees and their customers. Huge fantastic margaritas. The insides no beauty but it's clean and it has a bar. Happy this is around the corner from me because we will be back many times. My family decided to order takeout from here a couple of nights ago and the food was perfectly average. Most people in line for takeout did adhere to good social distancing rules, and many had on appropriate protective gear (masks and gloves), so this is definitely a safe place to order from in the age of the pandemic. I ordered a crazy burrito and the portion was large enough for 3 whole meals, which was a huge plus, but a big negative for me was that the rice inside the burrito was so salty! The ground beef tasted just ok, and the rest of the meal was the generic sides of lettuce, sour cream, guac, and pico. Overall, nothing to rave about, but it also wasn't terrible, just average. read more

For a chain restaurant Frontera is usually a reliable fare and overall good experience. Unfortunately, this one appears to be a one-off. The food tasted fine but the service was slow and the waiter was rude. There were no paper towels in the bathroom and overall we couldn't wait to leave. Some good Mexican food to be had here. For a chain Frontera does not disappoint. When we went they were able to accommodate a big family table of us with screaming kids; and they were happy to do so. We were greeted right away with chips and salsa; the black colored salsa being the best. We started with queso for the table which was hot and creamy and just right. For my main course I ordered chimichanga with steak which was delicious; nice tender steak in a gravy wrapped in a tortilla, deep fried, and covered with queso. We ate there for Lunch on Sunday. Between us we had a quesadilla, steak tacos, and chimichanga. Everything was good but all the meat had zero seasoning which was disappointing for Mexican food. And the quesadilla was soggy as if they didn't drain the shredded chicken before making it. They also charged $13 for steal & cheese nachos which is a little high in my opinion... Wow! Best Mex we've had since moving here from So. Cal. Best in town. Fresh, legit salsa. Fajitas were amazing. The street taco with special marinated pork was incredible. This is legit Mex. It's a little far from where we live, but it's now the go to for Mex. Matt, the server, was incredible. I'm not sure if something has changed with their food or the service to cause less customers or if they were having an off day here? My husband loves the full tilapia (fried). It's the entire fish. We don't know of other restaurants that serve it this style, so for now that's why we come here. Our service was just off, which is usually not typical here. We ordered cheese dip with jalapeños. It arrived without. We also did not have silverware for both of us (odd). I ordered a strawberry daiquiri. It arrived with a slice of lime and was extremely tart (the waitress had to make the drink, not sure where the bartender was?). I had to return the drink, I'm not sure what that was, it wasn't a strawberry daiquiri. After we place our order and waited for an extended time, the waitress came back and asked to take our order. Um, you already did! Lol. My crazy taco (ground beef taco salad) was pretty good. Huge portion. Taste was just ok. Could have used a bit more flavor. Frontera always gives coupons. I like that. Scored a free cheese dip. $5.00 savings. :) This place is average. I visited this location and could not understand why there were poor reviews. We arrived five minutes prior to closing and NEVER felt rushed or at a loss for customer service. The free cheese dip offer from Yelp arrived with amazing salsa and warm tortilla chips! The owner had a pleasant sense of humor and the menu had loads to choose from. Our food was fresh, delicious and the portions were huge. The decor was inviting with a nice bar and flat screen televisions. There was a special on the pomegranate margarita and I was happy to oblige! It was delicious as well. I like this Frontera location. It's big and spacious and usually empty. When we bring the kids, we're in and out in under 30 minutes which is choice. Frontera is some of the best Mexican you can get in the greater Atlanta area. If you download the app, you can get rewards points for every time you dine at one of their locations. It's usually 10 points for every dollar spent. Tonight, I got a free Burrito Al Carbon for 1800 points and it saved us $12.99 off our check. The burrito was delicious! As a source of Covid19 takeout, zero complaints. I don't know what kind of horrorshow arrangement they have with whatever thieving corporation takes their orders to process (is it Grubhub? whatevs); bottom line, on the four or five times we've used them, and shown up to pick up the grub, it's been what we expected, and we've pigged out on the usual Mexican fare in the comfort of our home. It's reliable, it's what we want. (I'm not sure I get all the WATBs griping but then I'm not a griper. If a business is good to me they get five stars. Nobody gets fired.) read more

Old reliable. We probably eat here 2-3 times a month. Service is always exceptional. Food is good Mex (and don't let them fool you, a little Tex too). This is a local chain but this one seems better than the rest. You can find just about anything here. Wish there were a few more options, especially hotter ones.
