Perfect spot for drinks and appetizers! We sat at the bar on a midweek afternoon and loved the chill vibe and great background music. The queso was very flavorful, and the guacamole was fresh and delicious! The bartender was also super attentive and gave us some excellent drink recommendations. We'll be back! read more

Vibes are open space, friendly, and sociable. Staff is nice and helpful. Surprisingly liked the salsa more than the guacamole, and learned not a huge fan of the green enchiladas + chicken, it's more tangy and not as saucy that I expected. House frozen margarita was very refreshing and good! Just be careful with that frozen cup, it can get slippery read more

Except for the little girls sharing phone content over acknowledging my presence everything is fantastic!!! Went to Stillfire & ordered dinner before we left. Quick, easy & we do love the cost... don't change this!! I always order 3 specialty tacos & hubby orders 3 street tacos. Came with great & warm chips & not enough salsa. Enjoy the pics & get ready to drool!!! They are that good. read more

Patricia is really nice and really kind. She's the reason we come back every other week

Elsa was super sweet and attentive! She was very personable and recommended us delicious dishes!

I've always passed by here, but had never went in. Tried it for the first time this week and couldn't believe I've always skipped it. The ambiance was great, service was great, and best of all, foods and the selection thereof were fantastic! Hubby originally did not want to eat there, but after the first bite of our appetizer (Korean Fries), he enjoyed everything they had to offer. I love my Fajitas Chimichanga and he loves his Cuban, Blackened Fish, and Korean Tacos. They had half price Cocktails on Thursdays, but since we do not know how to drink alcohol, we didn't take advantage of that. I wished they had Mocktails included, which they did not. Can't wait to go there again! read more

Horrible service!! Never at the other locations my teens were charged 13 for a ninos bowl while here we were, we could've gotten an adult bowl for a dollar more but they didn't aware us of anything. Server never offered more refills or came to check up. We asked questions to ensure what we were getting into but then when the tab came it showed otherwise in there. Our tacos came out cold plus ninos bowls they js applied pile of cilantro. Will never be back to this location. If it was possible would put 0 stars. read more

Food was good, Mariana was our server and she was amazing, Nice friendly environment.

I'm starting going back at Tequila Mamas in Suwanee my town. The service was great they got new bartenders at least to me, the girls are very friendly and attentive. It was a busy Friday, and lots of birthday celebrations great ambiance, I have fun! saw my local people too. I'm glad I went. I'll keep going read more

Tequila Mama has become a regular on our list of nights out. The environment is always fun, and energetic. The locations is awesome, parking easy, and then we can walk around Suwanee Town Center after dinner. My favorite start is an Old-Fashioned and the bartender here does a great job. The servers are friendly and attentive. While we have tried a lot of dishes on the menu and enjoyed them, the fajitas are a repeat favorite. If you are in the Suwanee area, looking for a fun, delicious dinner, please give Tequila Mama a try. read more

Drinks and service were good but other than the chips the food is mediocre. I've given it several chances and it's too bad because would like to go there more for the vibe, but food changes my mind. read more

They tried to upcharge for stuff I didn't ask for and didn't get all of it and the food came out cold. Margaritas great.

Food and drinks are great-but they openly allow their regulars to make sexual jokes to their young female bartenders. Specifically a guy named Dan-O that wears his sunglasses inside, used his Bud-Light bottle to make a joke toward the bartender about going down on him. His cueball headed friend next to him was downplaying it as if my girlfriend and I didn't just witness him doing the very cringey action. After leaving I called and spoke with the manager David to let him know what happened, to which he brushed the story off and assured me he "knows" all the people currently sitting at the bar. What a disgusting establishment to allow this kind of behavior toward their employees. read more

We had planned to try RReal Tavos in duluth, but left due to slow service and headed north to try this place. So glad we did! The bartender was amazing. Super busy yet we never waited on anything. Amazing margaritas. We got a variety of different tacos and all were great. Great food. Great service. Guess we do need that other place now. This will be our new go-to. read more

This was a great experience. I am not a fan of the run of the mill Americanized Mexican restaurants but I have to admit this place delivered. Stopped in while the kids were playing in the park and decided to try the tuna tostada. Absolutely fantastic! The flavors were all on point--light, fresh, with a subtle Asian influence that worked beautifully with the sauces. Always such a fun place to go to with friends. Every Tuesday night after Cornhole, we picked somewhere close to go eat, and this one is usually our go to place. The food is great the atmosphere is spot on, and the people are always kind read more

I didn't know what to expect when I first walked in. It looked like a casual restaurant, but with a variety of Mexican food and other food. It's mainly Mexican, and they have tacos, burritos, quesadillas, you name it. Their lunch specials are pretty decent price (around 11), especially for the street tacos. I got the carne asada street tacos with cilantro lime rice. The tacos were decent, but still had that bit of authenticity there. The meat was flavorful, but wish it was more saucy. The rice was also flavorful; reminds me of Chipotle rice in a way. Service was decent, like any other restaurant. Overall, I would come here again, but I'll try the al pastor tacos (my favorite)!! read more

My friend and I met at Tequila Mama for an early dinner, and it was a great experience. The staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean, and service was efficient. For food and drinks, we had house margaritas, Mama's queso, ground beef tacos, and nachos. The queso and nacho portions were incredibly generous and more on the shareable side. I went to this place with a friend She recommended it to me ( No I didn't check Yelp to see what the crowd had to say) We went on a early, cold Saturday evening Was pretty much able to sit wherever And the restaurant, though empty had a good vibe to it It's colorful, exciting to the eye Great festive vibes... I didn't spend much time looking around But did notice the people that were already there having a good time.. The waitress was pleasant, standard I would say If you ask me what did the menu consist of I would reply back with a question mark I ordered the Cubano bowl Pulled pork dish With rice and beans Plantain Avocado Well, it was good.. The pork was seasoned, I got notes of pineapple while eating it... like a sweetness from it Texture was good... The rice and beans was good And plantain sweet enough to be dessert ( yummy!) I would say they put just enough into it to have it above average... Like they just entered into that realm Definitely reminded me of a home cooked meal I liked it and would order it again The tres leches... Standard, nothing stuck out I didn't like that it was in a cup And noticed for more than a decade other restaurants Playing with this theme... I almost forgot I ordered it and ate it... I guess because it didn't have standard memory of Texture... All in all, I can say I recommend this place for one and all to go!!!!! read more

Food is ok drinks are ok. Just ok. Below average, good atmosphere tho. Unfortunately I won't be coming back

I really loved the tacos! Got to try the specialty ones including the calamari and fried shrimp one. Super packed with flavor and the coleslaw on top was very fresh and tasted great. the reason why they are only getting 3 stars is because the margaritas was not on point. very far from the point... i got the Cadillac margarita and tasted like a house marg. from any other place. very disappointed. Service was decent, i sat at the bar and there was a nice lady bartender who was great but i was served by this guy and he was mehhh. overall, i will be back for the tacos only probably. read more

The food was good! Not sure why all of the black people were seated in the rear of the restaurant.

Came here at a co-worker's recommendation. Staff were super friendly and service was great. That's the reason for the four star review. Food was just okay to be honest. Others in the group seemed to like their food better than I did. Lots of other amazing food options in Suwannee so I probably won't be back. read more

Taco Tuesday! I was visiting with family and my aunt mentioned coming here. It was during lunch so they have an array of things to choose from. The lunch menu had an offering of two tacos and a side. When I ordered the carne asada tacos, I asked for my side to be island slaw, but the server said my only option was rice since it was the lunch meal? It made no sense since the description was a choice of a regular side. Anyway, for a drink I ordered the mango margarita. Tequila Mama's mango margarita definitely tastes like fresh juice, but lacked alcohol. The food came and the street tacos were amazing. Probably the best I've had in a while. The cilantro rice tasted good, but was mushy. I definitely was wanting my original choice of island slaw. Overall, it was a solid meal. Their guac and chips are for sure an appetizer you need to order, too! read more

UPDATED Review- I'm really disappointed with how Tequila Mama in Suwanee has changed. Since Gus and the other servers left, the service has gone downhill. Our server today, Darinka, was hard to find , we actually had to ask someone else to get her. The friendly, attentive vibe that made this place enjoyable just isn't there anymore! It used to be one of my favorite spots, but not these days. I'll be at Real Tacos for now. read more

Don't get served by the bartender Gus if he's still there- big brolic Hispanic man ... he'll spike your drink if you have too long a conversation. One of our family favs. Great atmosphere with fun music and beautiful decor. We always have the best service here and the food is always amazing. I have been here at least a dozen times and have had take out as well -it's always a hit. Recently we went and it was another great night but I remembered to finally take pics of our food! We shared chips with queso and salsa. I had the Cubano bowl which had carnitas, rice, beans, avocado, greens, corn salsa and sweet plantains. I'm obsessed with plantains! My husband had a Baja burrito- chicken, rice beans, salsa and cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla. Comes with a side of sour cream and guac.My grandmother ordered chicken fajitas. This comes with tortillas - you choose corn or flour. She opted for neither. It also comes with a side of sour cream, guac, tomatoes, shredded cheese and beans. We had so much food that everyone had a to go box. We also tried the pina colada which was fabulous. My grandmother got one in a pineapple which was really fun. I just had a regular glass which is a bit cheaper. Keep in mind this place is popular- wait times for dinner on weekends can be 25 mins to over an hour. It's busy, it's loud, and there's not a lot of room for those waiting on a table. You give your phone number and they text you when a table is available. If you are looking for a quiet evening this isn't the place. If you do come for lunch it is much more reserved. Hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant! read more

So much fun even on a Thursday evening! The staff was nice and they were slightly busy so our food took a bit and the forgot my dessert. But the waiter also was able to comp it and was so nice and friendly that our evening went over all really good. Everyone enjoyed there meals and had no complaints about the food quality. I had their Asian chicken, it sits on a bed of steamed veggies and comes with your choice of rice or salad. I wasn't after anything too heavy to eat and this was great for that. As a group we split the appetizer costs on our checks and even with each of us getting a margarita our checks were decent at about $30 a person for everything. read more

This is my to go place especially when I have visitors from out of town. By now my standard order is the empanadas, & the 3 street corn tacos (fish & shrimp). My friend ordered the hot wing. They weren't hot at all, I would say the hot wings were more on the milder side read more
