This place is as we remember it, very busy on Friday at 6:00 PM. We got the last inside table. Our waitress was slammed, she got our drink order and cheese dip and as she was taking a large tables order, the power went out for two seconds and back on, long enough for all their electronic ordering equipment to go down. They quickly switched to pen and paper while the machine rebooted. Organized chaos for sure. Another person saw the delay and came to our table and took our order. This place is like a well oiled machine, very impressive. Maybe a battery back up for the system is in order. She had the pork carnitas quesadilla with a side of pico de gallo, I had the enchiladas verde. Both entrees were flavorful and cooked perfectly. Love this place. We will be back for sure. read more

Taco Tuesday is beginning to be a regular thing here. Tacos are ok, but for $2 they're amazing. Ground Beef or chicken / flour or corn shells. $5 house margs. Seem a little light in the tequila but they're ok. Usually get an extra shot for at least one and that does the trick. Nice outside patio for when the weather is comfortable. Don't live in area but went due to higher what rating. Took our daughter and other family for her birthday. I ordered sliced avocado on the side. Much of it was covered in brown spots.‍ Our group ordered the usual suspects - chicken and steak nachos, chicken, steak and shrimp fajitas. Entrees came out at different times so some of us were waiting I ordered the fajita's personally. I have a reaction to green peppers but can have any others so I made my request. Unfortunately green was what I got with no others. Our server was friendly but disappeared to eat after she dropped the food and this was around 1:30 pm on a Saturday. Craving Mexican food, we tried this place while on vacay. The interior space was nothing out of the ordinary, but felt well-maintained and clean. If I recall correctly, dogs are allowed on the patio. Service was outstanding -- from the hostess to the server, we were treated with genuine friendliness and were well taken care of. The food was a pleasant surprise; my enchilada sauce was far better than I would have hoped to find in a small southern town. I would return here without hesitation. read more

If y'all are huge fajitas fans, this is the place to go!! They have a variety of fajitas and they all taste amazing!! It comes with a side of tortillas, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and guac. They have outdoor seating so it's perfect for the warm weather. They're enchiladas were also better than expected. I did not like the spinach enchilada only because there was so much spinach (should've seen that coming though). Another personal disappointing thing: no al pastor tacos. Arrived on a Saturday around four o clock. Not busy hostess/waitress sat us down right away. Brought chips and salsa and co asked what we wanted to drink and brought drinks back right away. Took our order. Chips and salsa were fresh and tasty. Not long after food arrived and we immediately saw plates full of food, very generous portions. The food was authentic tasting and good. I got the chili relleno which was good but the center of the pepper wasn't hot enough to melt the cheese fully. The beans and rice were good. The guacamole was not seasoned and tasted bland. My wife had the shrimp tacos and she liked them a lot. The decor is really no frills but looks clean. The waitress was very attentive and stopped by the table a few times to make sure we didn't need anything. We took half of my plate home and reheated well and was just as tasty. Then we got the bill and were pleasantly surprised at the the price. Was very reasonable. So really don't have anything bad to say other than I wish my meal was melty in the center of my peppers. At Aurelio's, you'll start your meal with salsa, and chips. Both fresh, and delicious. Not too spicy but has good seasoning. We've tried several items on the menu, and everything has been good. Some of my favorites have been the Chicken Chilaquiles, Pollo A La Ranchera, Enchiladas Verdes, and the Chile Colorado. We've also enjoyed the tacos, and the Chiles Poblanos. It's a pretty big menu, but we are happily working our way thru it. So why the 4 stars? Sometimes there is an overwhelming smell of cleaning supplies. Great place with excellent food. They have one of the best burritos I have ever had in my life! The Burrito Hawaiano is perfect with grilled chicken, chorizo, bacon, and cheese dip.... how can any of that go wrong!?!?! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was their margaritas. I am a huge tequila fan and I haven't been able to find one that I liked here. They have plenty of beer selections so margaritas aren't necessarily required. Please visit this place off the beaten path to try that burrito! You won't be disappointed if you like all of those ingredients. read more

Interesting...... My wife and I dined here on June 12 and were surprised by the 4+ star rating. I will start by saying the establishment was clean and their salsa was the best I've had in many years and everyone working there had a smile on their face. Our server was clearly new because she was clueless about the menu or dishes offered. We ordered the nachos (full order) as an appetizer and were very disappointed... we never had anything like these nachos, chips with some chicken tossed on top with cheese sauce, no flavor, and a small portion. I ordered the Chicken Fajitas and what a disappointment! There was a fair amount of chicken, no fajita flavor, no sizzle, little to no peppers, all onions but overall, no flavor. My wife ordered the chicken Quesadillas (two) and they we edible at best. We mentioned these issues to our server as dinner progressed and she just smiled?!? We never ask to speak to a manager, and she never offered to get one. We weren't looking for anything free, just a delicious Mexican dinner at a reasonable price. In conclusion, don't waste your time or money. Their portions are small, no taste and overprices along with no leader/manager present. read more

We just had dinner tonight. I was really looking forward to it and last time we were there it was great. We ordered a side of quacomole chunked. Very light on quac and heavy on onions and tomatoes. Wife ordered salmon salad (salmon was overdone) and I ordered chicken quesadilla dinner (it was a soupy mix of chiken and peppers on tortallia that was soaked with sauce). I cannot eat the peppers so my quesidellia dinner was a loss. Was careful to order something plain but discovered otherwise. This place is newly opened with new owners. Been there twice already and the food is awesome. The best Mexican food I have had in Georgia. The cheese sauces are supper tasty. The salsa is fresh and for sure homemade. Can't forget the a margaritas they went down real smooth. The service could not have been any better and they have a huge patio for outdoor seating. I can't say enough good things about this place it is now going to be my go to Mexican place. It is right next door to Publix on Friendship. Give them a try you want regret it. read more

i'm sorry, but i live here. we came by on a friday off work, and tried to get a decent meal for a decent price. apparently we now live in a fantasy world, because we're being overrun by peeps who make a living giving good food opinions. we've been here all along. and we paid $30. ok I paid that. for a mex meal that we don't get to do very often. as in me. and 1 other, my wife. it was not. any. better. than taco bell. sorry... my wife got chicken fajitas. i looked at all of it, and still went with the speedy (like every place offers). and how can u f up refried beans? so no it wasn't nasty. it was nice. just about as nice as any other place i order it from. but to then pay $10/plate more? nope and i really don't mean they can't deliver. the other posts says they do. but for me? nah they are just run of the mill. i'm sorry to have to say that too. if their beans were seasoned especial, or their cheeses were mixed, i dunno what to say. maybe everyone else is there for the ambiance.sorry. ps: i am gonna edit this. and say it. this is the 1st time i did not like refried beans. and i once drove a truck, had a breakdown, got saved by mex farmworkers, hitched a ride to their tenant farmer provided mobile home, and ate their food. it was a totally meat and pureed chili type condiment, and i loved it. so now i don't want to have to eat boiled meat and add some pureed condiments to help it after the fact, like maybe some mex do. and since i work in ATL i still can give a dang food review when i feel mistreated... mho do we now make a mex eatery go back to the incan times or do they actually cook spiced meats with flavor? how is this plain crap passable? and i don't like hot/spicy food, but the mexicans don't just boil meat in a high priced restaurant. and their refried beans are usually super awesome. read more

My family has been coming here for years. Recently we noticed a horrible smell inside the restaurant. Almost as if they were cleaning with dirty water. We decided to come back and try it again after a month or so. Our waitress was nice but forgetful. The manager came over to our table and was extremely rude. I had ordered a margarita and it didn't taste right. It was mostly soda water so I just sent it back and told them I would have water. They brought me a new one that the manager made that was nothing but tequila and orange juice and he made the comment "I hope you're not driving" as he dropped it off. I had one sip and told them I was fine with water. When our food came out it was wrong and they completely forgot my husbands meal. I told them I would just eat what they brought out as we had kids with us and it was getting time to go. They checked on us twice and we had to remind them we were still missing a meal. Overall the food was okay, we sent back our drinks, and the service was horrible. Again just completely shocked that the manager/owner would be so rude to a customer. We will not be back. read more

This place opened recently and we have eaten here a few times. Each time food is good and waiters are friendly and efficient.

I've eaten at pretty much every Mexican place within a 30 mile radius, and this place is my favorite. I've been here at least 6 times since I discovered them a few months ago. The service has been outstanding every time. Their menu has a great selection and everything I've had has been delicious. Their chips and salsa is top notch. And they have pebble ice and coke zero so that checks all my boxes. read more
