I ordered takeout from this place and I would never order from here again. I don't know how many people is comfortable with being served sauce that's part of a dish in a saran wrap, double wrapped and given to you as though you're an animal, I was so upset when I seen this. This is the second time it's been an issue with Customer service and the way they do things here for me the place needs improvement. the food taste great but the way Customer service is needs a HUGE improvement. the first time it was an issue with tacos. I waited there over an hour for three tacos and it wasn't even that many people inside the actual restaurant . It was one table and family members at the bar. This is my second time ordering takeout, through an app and I'm being served like I'm animal. I'm unsure how long this establishment has been open but if you're gonna serve sauce, that's part of a dish, You're most popular dish in a saran wrap that's double wrapped at least advertise that on the takeout platforms to have people decide whether or not they want to be served like an animal otherwise Take the containers that you guys have and put it in container. If I was going to a hole in the wall establishment, this could be expected, but if you walk into the establishment and then look at what I was served, it doesn't make sense .This is the last time I'm ordering from this place. We waited almost an hour for our food, and in that time, we had to constantly remind them about things we had already ordered--chips, drinks, extra lime--you name it, they forgot it. By the time our food finally arrived, my patience was gone. When we asked for more lime (again), the server came back with attitude, acting like it was an inconvenience, then walked away laughing after we said it was enough. At that point, I was done. I wanted to leave long before that, but my wife wanted to stay and give them a chance. I get wanting to support small, family-owned businesses, but that doesn't mean putting up with terrible service. This was a pattern of carelessness, rudeness, and complete disregard for customers. We won't be back. They respond to reviews in a nasty manner, instead of fixing their mistakes they are rude to people in the reviews. Go see yourself. read more

This newly opened restaurant offers real traditional Mexican food. The owner uses family recipes to make the slow cooked, juicy birria de borrego (lamb bbq). It's like being in Calvillo in the state of Aguascalientes, Mexico. Wonderful tasting crispy birria quesadillas with consomé broth. The michelada was delicious too. They prepare their own mix. Oh, and the horchata (a drink that tastes like rice pudding) was the best I've tasted, not too sweet either. Bring the whole family for authentic Mexican food. read more

Edible, but not good. The rice and beans don't have any flavor. The quesabirria tortilla is too crunchy. The consommé taste like it came out of a box. Do yourself a favor and go to El Indio. 100x better that whatever my husband just brought me. I wish he can get his money back. This ain't it. read more

From a Hispanic this food was just not good. I was in a group of about 15 people and not one person raved about their plate. All o heard was can you pass the salt or this is just not good. The pictures in the menu did not match the plates received. The food took forever and even the wait time for the check was ridiculous. The plates are small, very small, chips and salsa are not complimentary. The mango juice tasted like powder mix, I couldn't even drink it. I'm very disappointed as we went to this place to support a small business and we paid way too much for what we received. Pepe's Mexican restaurant is super close and a way better option. Just go there if you want Mexican food. read more

Hard to find, in a former long time Indian restaurant location. No customers peak weekend time. No signs except on windows. Birria tacos were way overdone and seemingly twice cooked. Being their namesake, we expected more. I think they prep cook tacos once and reheat for speed. Regardless of how they are made, subpar compared to competition close by. Consomme was capped with a centimeter plus of grease, lacked depth of flavor. Meat was dried out on edges especially. Not inedible, but poorly made on many levels. Not worth a second visit. We prefer El Indio by a LONG shot, which is where we went immediately after. Nice employees. read more

I came here a couple days ago and had the greatest time ever. As the front of the menu says, "Authentic Homemade Mexican Cuisine", THEY WERENT LYING!! Everything about this restaurant is GREAT! Great service, great (and amazing food) and drinks (the horchata is insanely delicious), great music, and the whole vibe of the place makes me feel at home. I will definitely be coming here more often and I would recommend this restaurant to absolutely everyone. read more

Got regular tacos de birria and they were good. Drinks were good. Clean and presentation and great. Great service. A table I originally sat at was wobbly, but then we could move to another one and it wasn't. Not sure if they're all wobbly but if they're not and it's just a small fix, I have no complaints. We all three had something different and it was all great. Great and AUTHENTIC Latin food. Its not a huge menu like most places, which I like smaller menus where they do everything very well. This was a great example of that. The prices were also very good and the server was very friendly and I hope to see her again when we go back. read more

Wow, it's stupid how happy these tacos make me. I got the quesabirria and my partner got the birria de borrego - both were exceptional. The quesabirria is crispy, deeply beefy, nuanced, and complex with a rich consomme you can't help but drink after you've finished dunking your tacos. The birria is melt in your mouth tender and comes with a stack of pillowy corn tortillas. Everything comes with a spread of fixings including diced onion, minced cilantro, eschabeche, dried peppers, and some kind of tangy chili oil so you can customize to your liking. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. We'll be back, and often. read more

We walked into the place and were completely ignored by the workers. My wife and myself kept trying to get the attention of the waitress and she just ignored us. Plus it looked super dirty, trash all over the floor and trash on the tables. Poor hygiene. read more

This is a new place that's only been open about a month or so, so I stopped in tonight to give it a try since I'd never had birria before. I showed up fifteen minutes before 9 PM, when they closed, and offered to come back earlier another day, but they insisted they would be happy to serve me. Wow... fabulous food, great prices, and really nice people. Lots of salsa choices, too. I can't wait to come back soon, maybe even again this weekend, to try some of the other items on their menu. DELICIOUS! Husband and I had a late lunch here and sat at the bar. I had the birrieria tacos and he had a chorizo burrito. We also had guacamole. Everything was so fresh. This is not a place where you are going to get a plate with a taco and rice and beans, it's a limited menu but you could tell everything we had was fresh and homemade. Our waitress was so sweet.
