Chicken taco, chicken burrito, rice & beans

One of the worst "mexican" restaurants I've been to. While the service and atmosphere were decent, the food was completely flavorless. Nothing was fresh and the salsa tasted like it came from the Tostito's aisle at the grocery store. Overall, would not recommend.

    Sopa de pollo

A coworker of mine said this was a must try for their Sopa de Pollo and she was so RIGHT! We split the queso and guacamole to start the meal. Followed by all of us ordering the Sopa de pollo. The service was excellent and we never had an empty glass on the table. The soup had the perfect amount of rice and the white meat chicken was so tender and juicy. Can't wait to go back for more!

This restaurant is not good. My boyfriend and I just ordered the lunch chimichanga and it was so bad. We each took one bite of the chimichanga and a few bites of rice, none of the beans. Not to mention the queso tasted like it was watered down. We asked our server if we could go elsewhere to eat as we thoroughly disliked the food and she said no because we had "already eaten half of the food." Well, we barely ate any of it. Enough to taste it and know we didn't like it. I should have asked for the manager but just paid and left. Will not be coming back. Would not recommend.

    "Fried" ice cream

So close to my house so really wanted to love this place.. but a few things fall short. But first the good! Clean, nice staff, and food tastes pretty good. Their chips and salsa was yummy. The fajita nacho was really good. Small was a full plate! Unfortunately, it's not an authentic Mexican place so one star down. And the tacos don't come w onions and cilantro- and extra charge when u ask for them $1.25 each. And... worst part- their fried ice cream is NOT FRIED... it's just corn flakes crusted around the ice cream.. such a downer... Otherwise- decent. Not anything to crave.

    Nothing

Jaw dropping. I was truly astonished with how amazing my meal was. The waiter was very sweet. The queso brought me to orbit lapping the earth. The music was on point and the place is just very welcoming. The food was so scrumdilyyumyumapurrpurr. Very good my mind is blown. I love mi casa just as much as yo quiero mi casa.

    Steak taco

Went to yelp looking for some good Mexican food or tacos in Georgia, which seems to be non existant. I had a beef hard shell taco that had little to no flavor. Their chips and salsa had no flavor. The enchilada tasted just like taco bells. I got a side steak taco that was good. Their beans had the most flavor. Overall I will not ever go back.

Frida's has a great outdoor dining space just as inside. Today they have decorated for Cinco De Mayo. The inside has the signature colored banners with wallpaper of beautiful flowers and portraits of Frida Kahlo all over. Ms. Elvia was an awesome waitress. She made sure everything was perfect. She was very attentive all while attending her other tables. We had the Nachos Mexicanos and the Frida's Guacamole. And when I say those 2 dishes was very flavorful. We usually leave with a togo box. But today we ate every bit of it. The nachos filled the plate and was loaded down. The guacamole hit every tastebud. With this one visit we are certain we will be back to try other menu items.

The service and staff have always been very friendly and welcoming, which is something we've appreciated. Unfortunately, after eating at Frida's the day after Christmas, we both became extremely ill. Beginning the following morning and continuing throughout the day, my wife and I have been vomiting nonstop and experiencing the exact same symptoms, including chills. We can't say for certain what caused it, but the common denominator is that the last meal we both shared was from Frida's. The timing and severity of the symptoms are very concerning, and if my wife's condition doesn't improve, we may need to go to the emergency room. This has been a really upsetting experience, especially given that we've trusted this restaurant in the past. The atmosphere is warm and typical for a mom and pop restaurant with no concerns to mention. We live less than 2 1/2 miles from Fridas and consider them as our go to Mexican restaurant. I'm sharing this not to attack the staff, who have always been kind, but to honestly report what happened and hopefully encourage extra attention to food safety and quality.

I ordered about 5 tacos for a corporate lunch about 20 minutes from our office. Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience this time. The food we received was burnt and overcooked, as seen in the pictures below. One order of tacos was actually a quesadilla instead. When we proceeded to call the restaurant to inform them they insisted that we drive 20 minutes back with the burnt food and the receipt in order to receive compensation, however due to the distance from us that was impossible for us to do and they could not provide us any other alternatives. The manger we spoke to was also very rude and unapologetic of actions and proceeded to encourage us to dispute the charge via our own bank accounts. Very unpleasant and rude staff which was disappointing considering we order from here multiple times. Would not recommend for corporate lunches and was disappointed in the lack of empathy or apologetic manner from the entire staff.

I had no idea who owned it before walking in (though I later read it's run by a mother and daughters team), but as soon as I stepped inside, I could feel the care and pride that's clearly been poured into this space. The interior is clean, colorful, and welcoming--everything from the decor to the spotless bathrooms signals that cleanliness and presentation matter here. I stopped in around 1 PM on a weekday and found a calm, relaxed atmosphere with three other tables of customers. There was one server on duty who managed the space well--attentive without being intrusive. She brought out complimentary blue tortilla chips and salsa. While the chips weren't fresh-made, they were decent--especially considering they're free. For my meal, I ordered the Veggie Fajitas with corn tortillas. The vegetables were well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. Both the rice and beans had great flavor. The only real downside? The portion of refried beans was tiny--maybe two tablespoons at most. When I asked about it, the server mentioned it was due to "portion control," though that reasoning felt a bit unclear. She also said that their refried beans and black beans are vegetarian (which is unusual - most restaurants the refried beans are not). All in all, despite the just-okay chips and the skimpy bean portion, Lolita's delivered where it matters: flavor, cleanliness, and service. With a few small tweaks, it could easily be a 20 out of 10. If you're a fan of Mexican cuisine, definitely go give them your support. Local gems like this deserve to stick around.
