Armandos taqueria is a classic Mexican restaurant, house made flavored food, one of the best in Duluth area, service was great at night hours, family ambience and music. Our family enjoyed the visit trying some tacos, flautas and elotes, amazing flavors. Must visit.

Really love the beef cheek, tongue and chorizo tacos! This is our go to first great authentic tacos!

Came here for some tacos and they were delicious! I got the lengua and cabeza tacos, and both were filled with plenty of meat. They had a self serve toppings and condiments bar. The elote was great as well.

Fantastic! Was in town to catch up with a friend . I'm from Los Angeles and Armando's serves authentic tacos! So good I went back the next day to show my friend who is also from LOS Angeles and she agreed how tasty they were! Will definitely be back if I am ever in the area again. I've been craving for the last week, Nashville doesn't have any authentic spots like this.

Portion sizes getting smaller and smaller. No more double tortillas.

The food was decent but price of tacos and amount of food given is not very good. Quality and quantity slowly declining with every visit. An authentic Mexican taco should have 2 tortillas and Armando's used to give that, but recently I noticed that they are only giving 1 tortilla. I used to be fine with the portion sizes because at least I could fill up on the tortilla... Not anymore. Now you have to order a whole extra taco to get the same amount of foods worth as you might've before. At $2.95/taco it's not even cheap. Actually it's on the more expensive side for a taco. I probably won't be returning anymore with how skimpy they've gotten on portion sizes.

This is the Armando's that looks like it used to be a sonic, has really cute colorful outdoor AND indoor seating. Last at the register was kind and bilingual, so don't be afraid if you don't speak Spanish! Tacos de asada were so flavorful the second I took a bite- (( do y'all offer catering??? )) reminded me of tacos you'd get at a cousins wedding lol chicken tamale was also so flavorful!! Reminded me of my mommas cooking back in 2010 got me missing my momma, that's crazy! Rice and beans were pretty standard, the rice was on the slight under cooked but nothing to complain about. And the corn- the corn!?? TOO. GOOD.!!! I may have overlooked the spice on that little shaker- don't be like me, and taste it a bit before pouring to your hearts content had my nose running, lips burning and I had to just sit there in silence- catching my breath hella good regardless!!! OH!!! AND THE MUSIC??? straight outta my dads music cd collection from the early 2000- los bukis, temerarios- I love it

Dry hard, uncle Ben style rice w tomato sauce. Not authentic. A Mexican mom would be very disappointed.

$50 for 2 people. If you're Latin and/or chef, please don't have big expectations w their flavors. The clean atmosphere will make up for it tho. I must preface this review by saying we arrived one hour before closing and this may be why we had an ok experience. The front service service was a 2 star (the happier smiley folks were in the kitchen). Cashier was so tired to even smile. She wasn't mean. She just looked sad, worn out as she was putting the juices away. The rice and beans tasted like it was from a can and rice was instant (uncle Bens looking, hard). We came in late, so it may have been their emergency quick whip-up if they ran out. But... Oh no!! Now as I'm thinking about it, I may have gotten duped altogether. This may be a franchise chain w no Armando that ever been in this kitchen. 1 star for tricking me. The lack of Authenticity breaks my heart. OR maybe they do have potential, but dumb it down for the target market of Johns Creek? Tacos, were extremely dry. 1 star Husband (gringo) says it's not bad Menudo was surprisingly decent! No Umami richness, but not bad! 3 stars for not smelling! The flan was 2 spoons fulls worth for $5. Not kidding. Not creamy. 1.5 stars The highlight of the order is... drum roll... the Elote. I wish I could turn back time and just bought 6 Elotes for dinner. I give the corn on the cob 5 stars. Perfect amount of Mayo, sprinkled Chile-salt and pinch of fresh queso to marry w the lime juice. Nom nom I ate each kernel so slow, since it was bringing me lots of joy. The Elote made up for the other food that were too... you know. Overall, they could be more authentic. I hope my review is read and can inspire to bring a little more life and sparkle to their flavors for late night eaters. I felt like I was eating left overs. PS the little abuelita peeking around the divider kept smiling. Genuinely greeting us throughout our entire dinner made my night. She gets a 5

A greasy experience if you want it. They tamper with your food if you return for a remake. Don't do remakes!

There were 8 of us total (4 adults and 4 kids). The food was great. Everything came out on time at the same time. Service was on top of it. Food tasted great. I had the birria tacos, my wife had the veggie fajitas, our friends had the blackened salmon tacos and the birria quesadillas. The restaurant has a fair number of TVs, which allowed everyone to have a view of the soccer match. Definitely have to keep this place in mind for other family dinner nights. We live on the other end of Johns creek, so often head to Senior Patrons or Seven Tequilas. Terrazas is definitely better quality food than both of those restaurants.

They have BIG tv's, a bar that was pretty busy on a Saturday night. Met @ 5:30 pm, left @ 7:30 pm- the entire restaurant filled up quick, as it always does. We were actually thankful to be at the bar b/c there were a lot of families (they deserve a night out too) with small children who had those high-pitched screams... hahahaha, our children are older, so we don't love that sound anymore. The robots are always fun taking drinks to tables. Go & enjoy!

It would not be able to accommodate everybody. They had buy two tacos get one free today four dollars a taco, Nachos for $10, and Mexican corn for six dollars. Today the surface was untraditional because of the event. The only thing they were surfing outside in the vendor was alcoholic drinks and tacos and nachos. Anything else on the menu like burritos or serviced inside. Really enjoyed the bull ride. That was something different and unique. The food was done fresh and made to order. It was good. Just needed a little more salt. They had three sauces wasn't a big fan of either one of them. Corn on the cob was made differently from all other Mexican restaurants. They put a lot more Tajin on it, making it more sour, which I actually liked better than traditional. It gave it a good punch. We made a good choice, stopping by here for the festivities.
