    Asada Vampiros

Went for Valentine's Day got 2 asada tacos, 1 asada Vampiros and 1 asada Mulas. Tacos were absolutely delicious and the tortilla was homemade. The tortilla was tender and flavorful itself! The meat was devious and simple. There were a few pieces of meat that had chewy connective fat but other than that I have no complaints. The flavors were straightforward and fresh! Highly recommend, I will be returning!

Here we had asada tacos, pastor tacos and Vampiros Pollo (Grill Chicken)

Really delicious place. We definitely recommend coming here for the authentic feel of eating TJ tacos. As someone who grew up in Mexicali this felt like the real deal. Aside from the amazing customer service the ambiance was so good. Felt like I really was in Mexico. Made me miss it for a second the place has classic rancheras so you feel like crying while eating too

I'm really wanting to add 1more star cause this place is CERTIFIED DELICIOUS!! The name TJ to me means Tijuana Mexico since I'm from San Diego the flavor of the tacos/ the fresh corn tortillas are a BIG YES for me!! It's located in a plaza that was kinda hard to find so I had to GPS to be sure. The prices are a bit higher than what's in the area for the size of the taco which is close to $4 per. This place is spotless/ with red table & chair seating to match the restaurant. The menu has lots to choose from burritos, vampiros, pollo mulas, nachos along with aquas fresca to drink. The female cashier is very sweet and brings your food to your table if eating inside. Just stopped in to try it today. I will definitely come back to try more menu items.

If you're looking for great Tijuana-style tacos in Duluth, TJ Street Taco is worth checking out. The food is super fresh! The carne asada has a nice char and tons of flavor. I tried the steak tacos, a quesadilla, and a vampiro, and everything was really tasty. The salsas are great too, and they bring bottles to the table so you can add as much as you want. Portions are generous, prices are fair, I'll definitely be back to try more.

I tried carne asada, pollo, and adobada tacos. My favorite was the adobada. The guac was liquidy, not your typical guac and needed seasoning. The meat was good. Decent prices but probably wouldn't come back.

The staff speaks both Spanish and English and were super helpful in sharing their new lunch special which is two chicken tacos with rice and beans for just $9.99. And wow, the sauce really hits! I love both the hot and mild versions and always mix them into my food. The torta was incredibly delicious and the cheese and steak were perfect!! The drinks really tied the whole meal together. The interior is also very trendy and inviting.

Looking for something quick and good? This the spot. Service was quick and atmosphere is simple and cool. Grabbed steak and chicken tacos ( carne and pollo ) with everything on it. Pretty filling. Only thing I would ask next is less or no guac ( they give you a lot lol ... not a bad thing) . I'm cool with the place .. I would come back ‍.

    Aguas Fresca Horchata

First time here and right from the start it was a bad experience with the lady taking our order. She was not nice at all! Had a bad attitude. The food was bland with absolutely no flavor. The guac was watery, only good thing was the lime ‍ Order the horchata and was very disappointed Definitely not going back!

    Asada taco. Adobada taco.

This is real authentic Tijuana Tacos. Fresh hand made tortilla. Carne aside taco and quesadilla is really good. I will definitely revisit. Hightly recommend.

One of my coworkers told me to try this taqueria, Oh wow, this was good. Im rarely on yelp unless im checking out places to try. I refused to try this place with no pictures to prove I was here. So many people do reviews but haven't walked through the establishment doors. I ordered small but I have a big appetite. I could see me returning soon.

We ordered drinks, apps, and tacos. Drinks were good! We ordered grapefruit paloma and a margarita. Ask for extra salt, if you like. The apps we went for was queso with chorizo, and it was yummy. The salsa was okay, it looked like it came from a jar, but otherwise I was fine with it since I was craving salsa and chips lol. I ordered 3 tacos: 2 carne asada and 1 barbacoa taco. They were so good! Their corn tortillas definitely look handmade, and the portions are filling. The meats were juicy and not dry, very flavorful. This restaurant was very clean, with a 99 health score so iykyk! I'm surprised this place was already opened for 3 years! It's such a hidden gem in this plaza, and I look forward to going back. It's family owned, so the hours are not like most restaurants.

Seasoned well and my steak was cooked the way I like it, medium well. Don't beat me up for not posting it! When I am in the area, I will definitely drop by to try other options!

The facilities were modern, very clean and the staff, very kind and helpful. The food was delicious with the majority of the patrons being from Latino descent. We ordered chips with queso, 2 tamale and taco meals and a Carne Asada. Tasty, moist and flavorful tamales (one chicken and one pork with mild red sauce) as well as delicious tacos (Al pastor and birria). I've heard good things about the mole sauce but they were sold out of it. The steak was a little tough but the flavor was delicious. Honorable mention to the rice and beans and guacamole! Wow wow wow. The portions were really great also. So much so I needed a box for my taco. Overall great value with a lunch meal for 3 with an appetizer for about $50 bucks. Great experience!

We stopped by at breakfast-time and ordered: breakfast burrito: flavorful and good, plus easily split into 2 meals. comes with chips or fries. Fries were perfectly cooked and had a tasty seasoning on them. $13-14 breakfast plate: This was ok. It's billed as a scramble but is griddle scrambled and the eggs were very very hard cooked. I would prefer an overdone egg than a soft egg, so that was ok, but I would order them differently if I returned. There were lots of tomatoes, peppers and onions which was nice for flavor, but there were so many that there weren't many "curds" of scrambled eggs if that makes sense. The refried beans might be the tastiest I've ever had. The rice was "ok". The soft corn tortillas were very fresh. If not housemade, these are coming in every day for sure. $13-14 Rajas and cheese tamales: Didn't try these because of the cheese, but they were medium sized and smelled good $4 each Vegan black bean tamales: These come in banana leaves, which I've not had before. I could do without the flavor of the leaf, which is actually pronounced (this surprised me). The masa was lovely and the black bean filling was delicious and well seasoned. I like to pan fry my tamales to reheat and they were stellar the next day. $4 each The staff was friendly and handled accommodations (no dairy, corn tortillas instead of flour) smoothly. I would go again if I was in the area.
