Beware when you order of upcharges. They will NOT tell you when there is an upcharge on your meal and expect you to know because it says it elsewhere on the menu. Worse, some servers will charge you and others will not so even if you order the same dish you have in the past and not been upcharged, you may spend 3 dollars more for it depending on who is working. I am obsessed ! What do they put in this food?! It's delicious! My mom told me they had a Saturday special for corundas and I HAD to try them. I haven't them since the last time I visited Mexico. I drove to 2 Spicy Burritos from Savannah and it was the perfect meal after a 4 hour drive. The parking lot has several parking spots they share with a few other small businesses. The restaurant itself it's big. I was surprised at how far it extends back. The servers were extremely kind. The menu had everything you could possibly think of. Food: we tried the corundas with the pork guisado. They plate them perfectly. And it tasted just like home. I enjoyed their chips & salsa, as the salsa was a little spicer than other places. LOVED. The horchata was also the best horchata I've had at any Mexican restaurant. I also tried a quesadilla de flor de calabaza.. it was seasoned perfectly and the cheese pull was amazing. I've passed by this restaurant time after time and I'm so glad I finally got to try it. I'm so impressed with the quality and the diversity in the menu. Not really a fan of Mexican cuisine But i wanted to try something different So I ordered "2 spicy burritos " Kept it simple and went with Ground beef nachos And churros. The nachos were nice I mean for delivery food It definitely worked I got everything on it Tomatoes, sour cream etc... This is my new go-to Mexican restaurant! The tacos have generous portions of meat. I recommend al pastor and asada. I would skip the churro. It might've been an off day, but the one I had was very dry. Note that older reviews mention free chips and salsa. There's a charge for it now, but it's a huge portion for about $3-4. My family and I frequently come to 2Spicy burritos for lunch and dinner. Everything on the menu is great and their staff is very friendly! The store is your traditional mom and pop shop dishing out generous portions of high quality Mexican dishes. The portions and quality is top notch for the price point. You really get a bang for your buck. My go to is their asada and chile relleno burrito and the shrimp burrito. These burritos feel like a pound of food, that's what I mean by the portions are generous! I came hear after some positive reviews from friends and I was not disappointed. The service here was so quick and attentive. I loved that we got free chips and salsa. Now, while the chips and salsa were nothing to write home about, they were free so no complaints here. I ordered the carnitas (roasted pork) burrito with queso on top (extra $2). The meat was delicious. If you're a fan of super tender and fatty pork, then this burrito is for you! My only regret is that the burrito is wrapped with the rice and beans inside. I prob will ask for it to be separate next time so that the meat can really stand out. Plus, be prepared, the burritos here are HUGE!!! You will be embarrassed when it comes to your table all bursting at the seams and glistening with queso. This place is a GEM. It's in a little strip mall near Sabor Inca Peruvian. My husband and I ordered the Guacamole to go with the chips and salsa, and it was delicious. The salsa was really cilantro heavy (which is my personal favorite) and the chips were perfect. I ordered the al pastor tacos and my husband ordered the ground beef burrito. They make their tortillas and you can really taste the difference. Next time we'll try the churros, but this is not a place to sleep on. This is going to be our go-to place. Handmade tortillas! Need I say more. Absolutely loved the fact that this establishment makes their own tortillas. All places that serve tacos should make their own tortillas. I got the pastor, chorizo, chicken, and steak taco. All of these were very good and were topped with cilantro and onions. The proteins in the tacos were decent but could be fresher. What you need to know: The chicken soup is bland, but the tacos are amazing. Ordered from UberEats after seeing them getting decent reviews since my go-to Mexican spot was not accepting orders. Chicken Soup: I ordered this thinking it'd be like other spots I've been to where the chicken is shredded or pulled apart, there's sometimes rice, a super flavorful broth, and maybe some veggies. What I got was a pretty bland chicken broth, a chicken breast still on the bone, a small chunk of zucchini, and a small chunk of carrot. Ended up having to dump the remaining salsa that came with my tacos in the soup to give it a better flavor and struggled to get the chicken off the bone. Probably wouldn't order this again. Docked a star for this. Tacos: I ordered the asada and chorizo. The tortillas tasted handmade and were surprisingly strong to hold up to the meat and salsa and lime with only one (most spots use two tortillas). The asada was flavorful as was the chorizo. Overall, solid tacos for $2 a pop. The salsas that came with the tacos were pretty good. Not super spicy, but definitely had a lot of flavor. Other: Got a side of rice that I assume came with the soup? It was great, ended up dumping some of it in the soup to give it something different. Also got a side of tortillas, which I think was for the soup also. Nice touch, but I save them for later. So I saw this new spot while driving and I was in the mood for Mexican. I also read where they offered 99 cent tacos on Tuesday's so I had to go. I went in the evening and it's not the brightest place. The lights were slightly dim. There's a few high tables and booths on the side. You tell them at the counter if you're dining in or taking it. If dining in they tell you to find a seat. The waitress was really nice. Me and my daughter ordered tacos. I ordered the fish tacos and my daughter ordered the steak. I also ordered the horchata and everything was good. They did slightly mess up my order and not bring out the number of tacos I requested but they fixed them fast and brought to the table. This place is fairly new, their food is pretty good. As I have mentioned in other reviews for me handmade tortillas are a plus for tacos, and this place has them. They also have freshly made gorditas and sopes. All of them fantastic. Something that for the people that drink a lot of liquids is a plus, all their Aguas have a free refill. The only thing that I wish they would have done differently, is they have their admin office at the front of the restaurant and when you sit at one of the tables with booths, it feels a little bit enclosed. I decided to try this place from reading the reviews but was not impressed at all. The salsa that comes free tasted like ketchup. The chips tasted odd to me too. They have a red salsa and green salsa that you can get with your meal, both very spicy. They don't have any mild salsa options, except the ketchup-like dip that came with chips. The burritos are massive, but that's the only special thing ab. The ground beef burrito tasted like one I can make at home. The interior is very nice and clean and service was good. I didn't realize it was table service, not fast food style. They don't have hard shell tacos. They have soft flour and soft corn, but not hard. She stated that the carnitas were no longer on the Taco Tuesday menu and that the selections were fish, ground beef, grilled chicken, and marinated chicken. I asked that she give me one of each and add cheese. I'm guessing at this point that FLOUR went over her head. She did not submit the request.... When I arrived, my order was ready, BUT there were 2 orders on the counter and she didn't know which was for what customer because she stated that they did not tell her. She opened the box and confirmed my order. I get home...ready to eat....the tacos look like flour because they use a white corn. However the texture looked a bit funny but I took one bite to realize it was corn. Okay...no problem Pick up the phone...call them. Now mind you, I am NOW in my home comfortable and no longer with transportation at the time. The young lady I spoke to this time after providing her what happened asked me to hold on a few times to talk to the manager...she came back 3 times and asked did I want corn...I'm like noooooooooooooo....FLOUR. She spoke to the manager. They wanted to know if I had the tacos now and if I could bring them back. That's the only way they would replace them and that is all that they can offer. Are you expecting me to take an uber to show you the wrong tacos!!!! ARE you FREAKING kidding me right now. You are now INCONVENIENCING ME FOR A MISTAKE YOU MADE.
