The lady who took our order was very friendly. She also brought our food out and checked on us a couple times. Great customer service. I got the chicken and queso bowl and my friend tried the San Antonio taco, the beef barbacoa taco, and the pork pastor taco. The food was good, but not "I have to go back and get this again" good. All in all it was a good experience. One and done.

Young lady at the counter was very personable and told me that the only tacos that were $3 were the OGs which were chicken, pork with pineapple, and barbacoa beef. Well I didn't want those so I ordered what use to be my favorite fried green tomato with feta only now I think it is goat cheese so definitely not as tasty as I remembered and a Cajun shrimp that had 3 shrimp that the life was cooked out of them! Didn't bother to eat it. Also, got a chips and queso for $6.25 and the chips are so hard that I thought my partial might break! So took my queso to go and left the chips. The music was still great and the staff still friendly but man the food isn't at all like it was I'm sad to say.... even after using my $5 bday coupon and $4.24 cash reward from toast that's been in my account over a year my total was still $12.54 including a $2.77 tip! Way too much for half eaten food IMHO. Doubtful that I'll be back.

The facilities were modern, very clean and the staff, very kind and helpful. The food was delicious with the majority of the patrons being from Latino descent. We ordered chips with queso, 2 tamale and taco meals and a Carne Asada. Tasty, moist and flavorful tamales (one chicken and one pork with mild red sauce) as well as delicious tacos (Al pastor and birria). I've heard good things about the mole sauce but they were sold out of it. The steak was a little tough but the flavor was delicious. Honorable mention to the rice and beans and guacamole! Wow wow wow. The portions were really great also. So much so I needed a box for my taco. Overall great value with a lunch meal for 3 with an appetizer for about $50 bucks. Great experience!

We stopped by at breakfast-time and ordered: breakfast burrito: flavorful and good, plus easily split into 2 meals. comes with chips or fries. Fries were perfectly cooked and had a tasty seasoning on them. $13-14 breakfast plate: This was ok. It's billed as a scramble but is griddle scrambled and the eggs were very very hard cooked. I would prefer an overdone egg than a soft egg, so that was ok, but I would order them differently if I returned. There were lots of tomatoes, peppers and onions which was nice for flavor, but there were so many that there weren't many "curds" of scrambled eggs if that makes sense. The refried beans might be the tastiest I've ever had. The rice was "ok". The soft corn tortillas were very fresh. If not housemade, these are coming in every day for sure. $13-14 Rajas and cheese tamales: Didn't try these because of the cheese, but they were medium sized and smelled good $4 each Vegan black bean tamales: These come in banana leaves, which I've not had before. I could do without the flavor of the leaf, which is actually pronounced (this surprised me). The masa was lovely and the black bean filling was delicious and well seasoned. I like to pan fry my tamales to reheat and they were stellar the next day. $4 each The staff was friendly and handled accommodations (no dairy, corn tortillas instead of flour) smoothly. I would go again if I was in the area.
