The meat was seasoned perfectly, and the portions were hearty. I typically only get Asada but the pork belly hit the spot and I may have found a new fav. Fair Prices & Stellar Service In an era where "cheap eats" are hard to find, La Chula is a breath of fresh air. Their Taco Lunch special is a total steal at just $1.99 per taco (available Monday through Friday plus it's rare to find food this high-quality at such a fair price point. The entire meal--including a quesadilla, three tacos, and a soda--came to just over $20 before tax and tip. The service was equally impressive. Probably some of the best mild salsa I've ever had. The spicy salsa was tasty as well, but just a little bit beyond my heat range. I was very happy with the start to the meal, but once the pork belly tacos came out, I was in heaven. These are the best tacos I've ever had, and I've eaten a lots of tacos, and the best pork belly I've ever had. It was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. I ate it so fast that when it's finished, I thought a severe sense of disappointment that there wasn't more. The wait staff was great as well!
