While the restaurant can't control that parents allowed kids to play tag and scream in the restaurant, they can control service. It took us forever to have the waiter to come take our order, We ordered and asked for an extra plate and more salsa- after we got our order NO ONE came to refill drinks or check in. We never got the plate or salsa. When we asked for our bill and told the manager of our experience we were told to leave and not come back. So we won't.

Normal beer selection. Good variety of specialty margaritas. The Hennessy one, not very good in my opinion. Chips and salsa were good. Ordered the pollo chorizo plate. Really good flavor. Wish it had another breast piece and not just one. But it was enough to fill me up. Service at the bar and the table was good. Will definitely go back.

While the larger shopping stores may be what is primarily seen from the immediate street view, don't let this shop fool you into thinking they won't live up to expectations. They offer amazing plates and even better deals. The amount of food provided for money paid is well worth it. My husband and I have been here plenty of times for date night. I love a good burrito and that is always my go-to here. I order their steak burrito covered in cheese dip and green sauce. Each time I order it, there is so much meat and not one flavor overpowers the other. I'm a sucker for spice and always will order their Jalapeño Toreado. You get so many onions and jalapeños for the price paid for this side that it can easily be shared with 3-4 people.

The tortillas are also the best and it's hard to beat the chips and any dip because they turn those amazing tortillas into chips. I also love the spicy rojo salsa. It zings in the right way. Only negative is the price has gone up with the amounts going down. I mean where hasn't it, but it's still noticeable. Best bang for the $ is for sure the "baby" burrito. Also the people behind the counter are always as nice as can be.

I've eaten Mexican food all over Texas&Mexico and Gsisters more than exceeded my expectations. I started with a bowl of menudo, this is a prehispánic tripe dish and a great hangover cure! The broth was extremely savory with just the right amount of spice. The tripe was extremely fresh and clean (this is a huge plus, most restaurants cut corners here due to the time consuming process!). Y'all see that rolled up delicious tortilla in my hand waiting to be dunked and devoured? HOMEMADE, fresh off the comal. You don't find this just anywhere! If you know you know, if you don't I'll let you know. Homemade fresh tortillas have a softer texture and much more satisfying. The GSisters themselves are great! Super friendly and very accommodating! Oh did I tell you they make amazing popcorn too? I bought a few bags to give as presents to my friends in Texas. Most of the bags are gone now:/ A bit of background, GSisters serve traditional Tierra Caliente regional food. This area encompasses the parts of the states of Guerrero, Mexico State and Michoacán. The not so good: the food is pretty bad. The carnitas was dry and flavorless and the chili colorado was basically thin sliced beef with a can of red enchilada sauce dumped on it. I did ask our server for a side of salsa verde which I could tell was homemade and that was actually delicious. So if you're going looking for really good Mexican food, this is not the place but if you're going to have a drink and hang out with friends around a bunch of other people who seems to love the food then it's a good place for you. I would go back and get a margarita and just hang out, but I would not eat there again.

We were seated immediately and were waited on by Juan, a young man who had a sense of humor AND a lot of patience with us...and took care of us very well the entire evening. We all started out with drinks (a pitcher of margaritas for all!), and my wife ordered a sweet pork 'super burrito' and I had my go-to standard...pork carnitas with double beans/no rice. The salsa and chips were de-lish and we were VERY ready for dinner when the entrees came out. My wife ate about 1/3 of her mega-burrito (it really was THAT big), and I enjoyed my Carnitas...but was getting full pretty quickly. I really liked the slices of sauteed onion in the Carnitas and the flour tortillas accompanying the dinner were very good as well. However, the Carnitas did dry out quite quickly as the evening wore on...and made them a bit of a chore to finish off. Nevertheless, it was a very pleasant dining experience, and the staff, kitchen, and Juan all did a very nice job taking care of us during our visit. Four Stars for the good food, drink, and some attentive service by Juan. Just get those Carnitas a little less dry and we'll be back again on our next trip to Georgia!
