We had an amazing guide who was fun, engaging a knowledgeable about local wildlife and vegetation. After a vigorous but doable 1.5 mile hike we descended thru the canyons. We completed 3 or 4 smaller obstacles that required some roping / tethering then then culminated in the final rappel descent which is exhilarating for newbies to this sport. 100 pct highly recommend.

Lunch was easy - they set up super quick - caesar salad wraps, waters/juices, chips, chicken salad, and Oreos. Some of my favorite parts was the fact that ALL the guides and bus driver were all young women. I loved that my kids saw these women do all the heavy lifting (literally and figuratively) and think it sets an awesome example to my son and young daughter. A few days later as we drove out of Moab, we drove down the same 10-15 miles of road we took on the bus. I didn't realize how much my kids had absorbed during the bus ride, but they rattled off all the facts, stories and sites that the guide had shared on our way to rafting.

We were a family of 6 ranging in age from 5 to 60+, and every single one of us had an absolute blast. The experience was equal parts thrilling, scenic, and just plain fun. Even our youngest handled it like a champ, and the views along the trail were incredible. One of us started out completely petrified (like, *white-knuckle, questioning life choices* level ), but our guide Chad was amazing. We were taken up in a large all-terrain vehicle, which added a fun start to the experience. Choosing the 11:00 time slot was perfect--it meant a smaller group, less waiting, and more time to explore afterward. The ride up felt like a mini tour with incredible views and interesting insights along the way. Our group of eight was the perfect size, especially compared to some of the larger groups we saw. Instructions were clear. You are also able to clip in with a harness while watching others jump--great for taking photos of friends with you.
