The second time we dined here for our family dinner and it did not disappoint! They have a dining room and also a nice bar area with tables as well to watch games at. Although I have been there during that time, they have happy hour too which is great to grab a drink or an appetizer after work. Every dish is absolutely delicious but the salmon is most definitely my favorite! Oh, and the drinks are not light... thanks great Bartenders ! Don't let the outside fool you!!! One meal was more delicious than the next, I recommend ANYTHING that has to do with a Brazilian flare. This is their specialty our waiter/Bartender was fantastic! He was very kind, knew the menu very well, had good banter and awesome personality. My only complaint is there was zero atmosphere. There was no background music, the lighting was as if you were at home. read more

This is my first time traveling to Annapolis and I looked up a place to eat and this is where I decided to go. I cannot express enough about how good this place is. My entree was filet mignon with fried bananas and fries. The steak was perfectly cooked medium rare. After I devoured my entree my waitress suggested a crème brûlée as a dessert. This specific dessert was another first for me and I was impressed. It was slightly sweet and extremely rich and took my taste buds on a roller coaster. If you are traveling to Annapolis I would suggest stopping by. read more

Frix's Fire Grill is a Brazilian restaurant on Kent Island. I moved to Kent Island a year ago and this place is across the street from my apartment. The menu is very unique and everything I have had is simply amazing. The filet mignon is absolutely like butter and melts in your mouth, my sons are 24 and 20 and every time they visit, it is mandatory that we eat there. The atmosphere is very nice, wait staff is polite, and prompt with your drinks, and food. The cocktails are out of this world, and you will enjoy them! One of my favorite things at Frix's is the appetizers. Mandioca Y Linguica is the bomb!! Crisp fried yucca with fried onions and a sliced-up sausage are just divine. If you have never had yucca, it is similar to a potato, and you can't tell the difference. The other app that I love is the Filetzhino, which is sliced filet sauteed with onions and peppers in a balsamic reduction. Desserts are also fantastic. The grilled pineapple pound cake is great as is the brownie with ice cream. The prices are high if you are not from the area, but for the Island they are not bad at all. I highly recommend!! read more

Soooo good! "From the grill" entree with two sides is a great value. We had the mahi mahi and the shrimp, with grilled asparagus, mango cashew slaw, mashed potatoes and fried banana...all excellent. The cocktails and grilled pound cake were also nice. Great service, too. A+ on everything. read more

Been dining here since 2021. Very good place with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. There apps and entrees are all unique and good. In 2024 they started brunch on Sundays and is very good. read more

This was a 32.00 order the burger was undercooked the cheese wasn't melted and the bread was hard. As you can see the fries was cooked to death! The yucca is hard and cold as well as the sausage hotdog (really), the only thing right was the salad. How they got 4.5 rating is beyond me! read more

We stopped here on our way to Ocean City and we enjoyed our meals so much, we knew we had to stop here on our way back as well. The service was great, and the quality of food was beyond phenomenal, particularly for the price. I had the cheese steak sandwich and the chicken soup, along with unsweetened iced tea. Everything was wonderfully made and the bread is out of this world. I am sad that this restaurant is so far away, because we would totally visit if it was closer to our city! In short: WORTH THE SCARY DRIVE OVER THE BAY BRIDGE read more

What a nice spot to meet up with friends! Very friendly staff, fun food choices, and a clean restaurant. Steak was cooked exactly as we asked and food was hot. The Tudo Hamburger was full of so many things. Their food was a topic of conversation for a while because it is original and fun. The burger had egg, ham, corn, potato crisps, and more on it. Had the Abacate Avacado. Its like an avacado/shrimp salad. Needed some salt, but otherwise it was a nice light fare. Think of it like a chicken salad. I suggest that it should come with little crackers or bread but it doesn't. Loved everything! Stopping by again to try some more of their menu. read more

I was on a quick getaway and wanted to try something local that was not seafood. I tried this place and it was excellent. I asked one of the hostesses for a recommendation. She enthusiastically recommended the blackened chicken. I ordered that along with blackened shrimp ,mashed potatoes, and black beans. I love chili for some reason. This was some outstanding chili! They served it with sour cream and cheese. My entree was off the damn chain. My taste buds were dancing in my mouth!! The chicken and shrimp were cooked perfectly. The creamy homemade mashed potatoes were wonderful. Alice was a great server. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. read more

Heading home from OC my husband & I stopped in for an early dinner on a Sunday. We sat at the bar. Our bartenders were super friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the house red sangria. The bar filled up quickly and we were happy we got there early. The camarao com maracuja (shrimp appetizer) was delicious... I think I'll order three of them next time. The lamb lolly-pops with garlic mashed potatoes were wonderful and cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed the seafood stroganoff. read more

Busy place on a Friday night but we had planned to visit so we waited for a table. Cozy atmosphere and the service was friendly. So looking at the menu you have a good amount of options to where you want to return to try another entree to test out other sides. The caipirinha cocktail had a great taste to where you might be tempted to order a second one. I like that they have kids meals but would suggest they offer toppings for the pizza since it seemed pretty plain and lacked flavor. The mahi-mahi with fried banana was delicious. The mango coleslaw was ok but felt too dry. The bife acebolado was ok but not something we would get again since it didn't pop in flavor. Although some items were ok we would go back to try others since we overall had a pleasant experience. read more

Been a couple of years since we last ate at Frix's. I had high expectations from last visit's great food and service. Ordered Crab Dip, Abacate Maraja, Asian Salad with Salmon and a Caipirinha. Bread that comes to table was delicious and hot! Crab Dip was hot, cheesy, and delicious. More of the good bread comes with it too. The Abacate seemed very bland. The shrimp had almost no flavor at all. My wife helped me eat it and she too found the dish bland and the shrimp flavorless. My wife had the Asian Salad which I tasted and found to be a little bland as well, but she liked it and finished it. More dressing on the side would be my recommendation if ordering this. I've been on a long search for a good Caipirinha drink in the USA. The South Americans make this drink smooth like a Margarita. I still have not found a place in the US that can duplicate this drink! Service was excellent. read more

A great gem I discovered out in Chester,MD.tiis was during their lunch hours. The receptionist was quite helpful in assisting with the food options. I ordered the rice, egg, steak and beans on their lunch menu, and boy, I was NOT disappointed one bit. Great taste and flavors of the Brazil cuisine were very enjoyable. I highly recommend this place. read more

We made reservations to dine here for an early midday Valentines meal. Our server, Courtney was great from the time we sat down until we walked out. We started with a glass of red sangria. We ordered two appetizers. The fried shrimp and the avocado with shrimp. For our entrees we had grilled salmon with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. Our second entree was sword fish, sautéed spinach and black beans. We finished our meal with the crème brûlée Everything was prepared just right and delicious. We will be back. read more

Our on drive back from OC, my family and I wanted to have something other than more blue crabs, crab cakes, or any type of seafoods for dinner. Frix's popped up on my Yelp search and we decided to make a mini detour for a nice sit down family dinner. Tuxedo Burger - my dad was on a burger kick. Three consecutive burger meals later, he said Frix's was the best out of the 3. Topped with fried eggs, ham, sweet corns, and potato sticks - out of the world yum! Grilled sirloin with mashed potatoes and fried eggs - perfectly seasoned, beautifully grilled. My husband polished his plate clean! Grilled chicken in mushroom sauce with fries and fried onions - the mushroom sauce was creamy and flavourful - perfect compliment to the juicy, tender grilled chicken! Shrimp avocado - diced grilled shrimp folded into mashed avocado and cherry tomatoes topped with two whole grilled shrimp. Light and refreshing! Went so well with the side of sweet potato fries and complimentary bread. I wasn't participatory hungry and this appetizer hit the spot! Sweet potato fries - fresh out of the fryer! One of the best sweet potato fries I've ever had in any restaurant! So crispy yet retain their soft so yummy center! I wished I had a whole bucket of these! Overall - Foods were delicious. Service was impressive - Poor guy was manning the whole restaurant by himself! Would definitely stop by again when making our drive out and back from OC! read more

Amazing place! Worth going out of your place for. The food was excellent--great range of interesting dishes at a reasonable price point. Good wine list by the glass or bottle. The decor is elegant too (I like the orange tableclothes.) There is no outdoor seating, but spacing is good inside and the staff were wearing masks. A few minor nitpicks: our lamb chops should have come with steak knives rather than butter knives, and the bathroom trash can was overflowing. read more

I'll tell you what, pulling up to this shopping center, I would never expect to be so pleasantly surprised. The location does not to do this fabulous restaurant any justice, but do not let this spot slip under your radar! The food is excellent, I have been here twice and I will be back again. On my most recent visit, I ordered the filet mignon, which comes with any 2 sides(kits to choose from). There are many gluten free options. Everything on the menu is perfectly prepared and for the quality, very reasonably priced. I also enjoy their martinis. They have a Brazilian fried cheese basket with ham that is out of this world. I can't wait to try more menu options! Both visits service was very attentive and just overall great experiences. read more

Just took my family there for dinner because I saw it on yelp. Best meal we've had on the Maryland vacation so far! For apps we had the stuffed avocado (like guacamole with shrimp and green peppers), fried yucca with linguica and onions, which my daughter said was the best thing she's ever eaten, and just baked pao de quiejo with ham spread--I'm addicted to those tapioca cheese balls! Their grilled meats come with chumming-churri sauce--I shared the lamb chops and rib eye--both cooked to how I asked. My daughter's salmon topped with shrimp and crab was terrific, and Anderson, the wait staff was so kind and solicitous of my father who wanted the filet with mushroom sauce but neither of the sides. We also enjoyed a rioja, which at $40/bottle felt like a reasonable deal. I'm sure we'll be back when we're in the area! read more

Went here late Friday morning on our way to Cape Charles and was very impressed! Service was excellent. Menu is vey varied - yet both of our orders were excellent. So glad I used Yelp to make our dinner decision! My fellow Yelpers did not steer me wrong! We would not have found Frix's if we had waited to see something on the main road. We got lucky and arrived right before the rush started. We ordered the shrimp avocado starter, which was deeelish! Of the options I gave the server, he suggested the mahi mahi, and it was SO good! The fries were also very good, and I really enjoyed the mango slaw! My friend ordered one of the other apps that was pretty tasty as well. As others said, the seasonings were very light, but so delicious! I would definitely return if I were staying in the area. The only negative we experienced was a long wait for our checks. read more

Reasonably priced steak- their "top sirloin" is $18 and comes with two sides. I asked for medium rare and i got a steak that was well done on one end and rare on the other. There was almost an inch of fat along one side of it as well, which I ended up cutting off. I was still full from the meal without it though, and the chimmichurri sauce was delicious. I was grateful they brought it out early and dipped the complimentary bread in it while we waited. My boyfriend's medium well steak was cooked more accurately, so maybe mine was an anomaly. The sides selection is pretty wide- I got sweet potato fries and sauteed spinach and my boyfriend got mashed potatoes and asparagus. The spinach was cooked well and the portion of fries were generous. They were nice and crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside - reminded me of Costco fries. For the price it's decent, but I probably wouldn't go back. read more

Wow, what a find! I had the linguica com Pao, spicy pork sausage with sautéed onions, melted provolone on French bread. It was served with fries, the best fries I have ever had. Loved the french bread. Light and soft on the inside yet crispy crust, yum! Our waiter was Andre, always smiling and effectively got our food and drinks out to us with out any fuss. If I have any complaint it was that the paper towel dispenser was empty. Will come back here to try more! read more
