Very good service and accommodating for impromptu pampering. As I completed my lunch meeting in same plaza was able to locate Friends from Yelp reviews. Called and was seated within 25 minutes - including walking time to location and selection of electric blue polish. Greeted once arrived, and my chair was prepared. My technician was very attentive. She took good care of my neglected feet and truly felt like a new woman upon completion. Location had ample parking due to location in Plaza, and conveniently located near the main intersection. The atmosphere inside was very inviting with nice decor and television monitor showing my favorite HGTV shows. Recommend to patronize this estate and will be back soon. read more

Salon is very clean and service was great. Tina was my technician and she helped me remove the overgrown skin and nail around my big toe that was causing me pain. It was a very relaxing experience and I would definitely come back again. Highly recommend this place! read more

Jenny and the rest of the team were AMAZING!!! I had a bad experience at another salon and my mom recommended I come check them out. 100% worth the drive. They went above and beyond with both my manicure and pedicure. The vibes in there are very relaxing and they are all so sweet! Will definitely be coming back every month. LOVE LOVE LOVE! read more

Stopped by here to try out a new nail salon. It's located conveniently off PIB by the new chick fil a. There's plenty of parking and it was easy to call ahead and walk in. They were quite busy in this Thursday afternoon. It bright and clean and ample of space. I was led to a green massage chair with hot water for my pedicure after I picked out a color. Annie was nice and paid close attention to my nails. The massage was nice and my toes looks great! I also got a gel manicure and they have so many colors to chose from. She was meticulous with my nails too and even the sides of my nails are filled in nicely. She did a nice job and I was in and out even without an appointment. Side note, they only take visa and master card. But I think I have found my new nail place. read more

I moved to Duluth back in January of 2021 and came to this nail salon and fell in LOVE with it. Hannah would do my nails and Linda would do my pedicure and they do an amazing job every single time. They're friendly, quick, and just all around amazing! I recently moved to a city 45 minutes away from this nail salon and I tried some around me and nothing compares to Friends Nail and Spa. I came back today because I realized they're worth the drive and they did not disappoint once again. The nails do not chip, they stay shiny, they last a really long time, the salon is clean, the prices are reasonable, and the service is the best. Not to mention, Linda's foot massage is incredible. Even if gas hits $8 a gallon I will never stop coming here, thank y'all for being so great! (All these pictures are SNS) read more

Spent over 263 bucks just for it to be smeared and chipped! I will never come back here again. Waste of money on sns and pedicure. My nails have bubbles all in it due to them using cheap products!! My first and last time! Go somewhere else y'all .. I got my nails done 2 days ago and they look like this . read more

Fancy huh ? Nails done, eyebrows done and everything right ? This place is the place here in Duluth! Friends nail is awesome with talented staff and clean environment! B is for the beautiful nails that you get when done with leaving this place. I've always had pictures ready to have done on my nails and they've always pulled through ! Gel is what I do generally and they are wonderful. U is for the underdog and underrated rank of this place! The staff is Chinese and they are really cool. They tend to your needs, have the best hand and neck massages that you just have to comeback for more ! Z is for .... can't really think of another cool z adjective but really coming here if you're the area it's worth it. Z is for the zip and zoom! Parking is readily available and easy to find right next to the pho place. Take some time for yourself ! It's worth it here read more

First time here. They did a great job, pedi and mani were great. I got waxed; Brazilian, eyebrows and armpits. And eyebrows were on fleek and arm pits good too. But brazialian not really she got most of the hair but didn't get all and the price wasn't worth the job. That's one star less & the other star was because I had called before going and they gave me one price and when it was time to pay gave me another one more expensive. Other than that good place let's see if next time it's a better experience. read more

I recently moved and was in dire need of a new nail tech. I did some research and low and behold friends nail and spa popped up. I asked to see Hannah after reading the reviews and boy did she not disappoint. I showed Hannah a couple of photos of the shape and style and she was on it! She was so quick but I didn't feel rushed AT all. Took her time on each nail and it came out literal perfection !! Loved the space and whole experience, clean quick and well priced. GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE! These girls have a super chilled vibe with superb skills. Ive been up and down the Gwinnett area trying to find a nail shop that can deliver flawless sns nails. I think I have found it here. Hanna did my nails today and they look so amazing! Some other places that do SNS don't do a good job leveling the product or they do a crappy job on shaping my nails. But girl.. Hanna knows what she's doing!!! I wish I had a picture of how my nails looked before by this other nail shop to show my fellow yelpers a better comparison. But for now, here are my beautiful nails done by Hanna! read more

I went early on a Monday morning and the staff was not busy but I was received with a smile and a greeting. Not the pushy typical greeting or none at all. I returned to this location but never was impressed with customer service. A environment that's not really welcoming because you get an attitude real quick or it seems like they want no questions. I have been there like 3 times. Today I wanted just polish changebon my toes then am being told that to have my nails a certain length which I never get them long cost an extra $5 . Did not agree and felt I was just boeing told that on the spot. It's too long to explain it all but am not patronizing again. Told no receipt if you pay cash. read more

Awesome Nail Salon!! It was my first time here and service was exceptional. The employees here really know how to do the designs correctly. It's pretty difficult to find an actual skilled nail salon in the Duluth area but I think I finally found one! The prices here are really great too! The manager, Hannah, is an extremely nice person. I absolutely love her and how well she does my nails. Will definitely be back! I got matte nails and a marble design. LOVE IT!!! read more

First time at this salon! I was very well please! My first visit getting my nails done since before covid-19 1st of March. I hate to say I cannot remember my nail techs name but I will update my post once I find out. First time getting SNS and I absolutely love it. My tech did a fantastic job at shaping my nails and they look great! I will definitely return back when it's time for fill-in. I will tell you she said it's further away from the front door if that helps any. You can tell she was very experienced with the whole SNS process and she did a great job on my pedicure! Just look at the picture. It says it all. Victoria did my nails. Nail surface not smooth and bubbles all over the place. Prices have gone up and the sweet customer service seems to have fallen off. They just don't seem as friendly anymore. As if they don't like their job anymore. Regardless. I will be finding another place to spend my money. $15 dollars wasted. Disclaimer: I don't get my nails done often. Overall clean, friendly, nice salon. The technician who worked on me was so sweet, kind, and meticulous. During my pedicure, the massage chair was very uncomfortable and I really couldn't figure out the remote on how to change it or turn it off because there were so many buttons. I was pleased with my pedicure. The technician really took her time to clean and cut, I really appreciated it because my feet looked so pretty after. When I went to do my manicure, it was really unusual for me not to have a bowl to soak my nails. I just had my hand to the side when it wasn't being worked on and then I never had to wash my hands before the nail polish was placed which made my hands feel dusty and dirty. Also the UV hand dryer felt dusty when I had to put my hands in each time. I got a back massage which took me by surprise because I wasn't expecting it and there was no prompt that it was going to happen. It felt okay, I just wish I was asked if I wanted that service because at the time I really didn't. Still the end result was pretty good! I only give it three stars because of the massage chair and the dusty feeling of my hands during the manicure. read more

I work about a minute away from this shop and I am soooo happy I found this place! I made an appointment at 4:15pm and went in about 4pm. I said I would wait because I came in earlier, but they sat me right away. Every nail shop I make an appointment at, I always have to wait to get started. I got SNS done and one thing I always hated about it is when they would make it really thick, but it's thin. I opted for more of a natural color and I just love it so much. After she is done doing your nails, and waits for it to dry, they massage you!! I was so surprised but man this is the place I will go to. It cost me $37 in total not including tip. A lot of places will over charge with the design and the nail shape, but they didn't do that. read more

I made an appointment for 2 pm for 1 manicure and another pedicure. We were asked to wait a few minutes. The pedicure started 10 mins after we walked in. I was asked to sit next to my friend as I waited for my manicure. I sat there waiting for someone to become available. I watched as they took care of two other customers that walked in after us. When I reminded her, I was still waiting - she said you will be next. At 3pm someone was able to help me. There is no need for me to wait an hour for a service that I made an appointment for. If you value your time, I suggest going elsewhere. read more

This salon has lost mine and my daughter's business. I have been there a couple of times before, however this recent visit was the last. They called me to come in early for the appt but I couldn't make it until my scheduled appt time. I had booked to remove gel and for applying regular nail polish on finger and toenails. When I arrived I was asked to pick a nail color and I must of taken to long (5 min!) to decide because the manicurist said that she wouldn't have time to do my manicure if I took too long. She then proceeded to rush through the pedi and after doing the manicure I asked why there was still old nail polish on 3 of my fingernails and she said she couldn't get it off and it would come off when I showered! What! are you kidding me! Then she applied the top coat on my toenails while my feet were under the manicure table! She seemed annoyed the entire time. Was I being punished for taking too long to pick a nail color? Is there a time limit of 30 secs or under? It was such a weird vibe the entire appt. I felt penalized personally for them probably overbooking themselves. The other behaviour of all the employees that is unsettling is talking to each other in their first language which I find rude especially in a business setting. My other concern is having the exact same treatments twice and getting charged more the second time for no reason they wished to explain. And it is hard to understand their lack of eye contact and mumbling behind their masks. It also feels like a production line not a relaxed spa environment It's not experiences I wish to repeat and if they are overworked and rushed or dislike their jobs, it is not good business to take it out on their clients and they will lose them as they have with my family. read more

I made an appointment with Friends Nail & Spa based on the glowing reviews, and my visit did not disappoint. I asked to be seen by Hannah, as I was familiar with her previous work posted online, and she did the most phenomenal job. Hannah was kind, patient, and thorough. I asked for her creative input based on a couple of pictures that I brought in, and she delivered. She asked me several times throughout the process if I was satisfied or wanted any changes -- I can tell she takes great pride in her work. Additionally, she was upfront about the price for the services requested, which was extremely reasonable. I have been to several salons in the area, and have not been happier or more impressed with my results. I will start referring my friends and family to this business. Friends Nail & Spa has gained a new, loyal customer! read more

My friend turned me on to this little gem. They do Sns full sets. I didn't even know this was possible. I will NEVER do acrylic sets again! A full set took less than an hour and looks incredible. I know they are simply, but aren't they gorgeous?! I was a little skeptical with this place because there were not a lot of reviews, but the ones they had were really good. So, I decided to give them a try! I have been searching for a good "nail home" ever since I moved to Duluth in August. It has been a trial and error process to say the least. My previous nail home was so good to me and I seriously hate that I am now too far away from them. Friend Nail & Spa really impressed me! Hanna is the girl who helped me. She was so sweet, patient, and made sure the shape was exactly what I wanted. I never once was asked if I wanted to upgrade my service or add on additional services, which I appreciated! If you are in the nearby area, I would strongly recommend trying Friends out. I know that I will be their newest regular! read more
