Called and was seated within 25 minutes - including walking time to location and selection of electric blue polish. Greeted once arrived, and my chair was prepared. My technician was very attentive. She took good care of my neglected feet and truly felt like a new woman upon completion. Location had ample parking due to location in Plaza, and conveniently located near the main intersection. Stopped by here to try out a new nail salon. It's located conveniently off PIB by the new chick fil a. There's plenty of parking and it was easy to call ahead and walk in. They were quite busy in this Thursday afternoon. It bright and clean and ample of space. I was led to a green massage chair with hot water for my pedicure after I picked out a color. Annie was nice and paid close attention to my nails. The massage was nice and my toes looks great! I also got a gel manicure and they have so many colors to chose from. She was meticulous with my nails too and even the sides of my nails are filled in nicely. She did a nice job and I was in and out even without an appointment. Side note, they only take visa and master card. But I think I have found my new nail place. read more

I moved to Duluth back in January of 2021 and came to this nail salon and fell in LOVE with it. Hannah would do my nails and Linda would do my pedicure and they do an amazing job every single time. They're friendly, quick, and just all around amazing! I recently moved to a city 45 minutes away from this nail salon and I tried some around me and nothing compares to Friends Nail and Spa. I came back today because I realized they're worth the drive and they did not disappoint once again. The nails do not chip, they stay shiny, they last a really long time, the salon is clean, the prices are reasonable, and the service is the best. Not to mention, Linda's foot massage is incredible. Disclaimer: I don't get my nails done often. Overall clean, friendly, nice salon. The technician who worked on me was so sweet, kind, and meticulous. During my pedicure, the massage chair was very uncomfortable and I really couldn't figure out the remote on how to change it or turn it off because there were so many buttons. I was pleased with my pedicure. The technician really took her time to clean and cut, I really appreciated it because my feet looked so pretty after. When I went to do my manicure, it was really unusual for me not to have a bowl to soak my nails. I just had my hand to the side when it wasn't being worked on and then I never had to wash my hands before the nail polish was placed which made my hands feel dusty and dirty. Also the UV hand dryer felt dusty when I had to put my hands in each time. I got a back massage which took me by surprise because I wasn't expecting it and there was no prompt that it was going to happen. It felt okay, I just wish I was asked if I wanted that service because at the time I really didn't. Still the end result was pretty good! I only give it three stars because of the massage chair and the dusty feeling of my hands during the manicure. read more

I work about a minute away from this shop and I am soooo happy I found this place! I made an appointment at 4:15pm and went in about 4pm. I said I would wait because I came in earlier, but they sat me right away. Every nail shop I make an appointment at, I always have to wait to get started. I got SNS done and one thing I always hated about it is when they would make it really thick, but it's thin. I opted for more of a natural color and I just love it so much. After she is done doing your nails, and waits for it to dry, they massage you!! I was so surprised but man this is the place I will go to. It cost me $37 in total not including tip. A lot of places will over charge with the design and the nail shape, but they didn't do that. read more

This salon has lost mine and my daughter's business. I have been there a couple of times before, however this recent visit was the last. They called me to come in early for the appt but I couldn't make it until my scheduled appt time. I had booked to remove gel and for applying regular nail polish on finger and toenails. When I arrived I was asked to pick a nail color and I must of taken to long (5 min!) to decide because the manicurist said that she wouldn't have time to do my manicure if I took too long. She then proceeded to rush through the pedi and after doing the manicure I asked why there was still old nail polish on 3 of my fingernails and she said she couldn't get it off and it would come off when I showered! What! are you kidding me! Then she applied the top coat on my toenails while my feet were under the manicure table! She seemed annoyed the entire time. Was I being punished for taking too long to pick a nail color? Is there a time limit of 30 secs or under? It was such a weird vibe the entire appt. I felt penalized personally for them probably overbooking themselves. The other behaviour of all the employees that is unsettling is talking to each other in their first language which I find rude especially in a business setting. My other concern is having the exact same treatments twice and getting charged more the second time for no reason they wished to explain. And it is hard to understand their lack of eye contact and mumbling behind their masks. It also feels like a production line not a relaxed spa environment It's not experiences I wish to repeat and if they are overworked and rushed or dislike their jobs, it is not good business to take it out on their clients and they will lose them as they have with my family. read more

I was asked to sit next to my friend as I waited for my manicure. I sat there waiting for someone to become available. I watched as they took care of two other customers that walked in after us. When I reminded her, I was still waiting - she said you will be next. At 3pm someone was able to help me. There is no need for me to wait an hour for a service that I made an appointment for.
