Brownie fudge sundae it was really good . I love brownie and ice cream altogether. It's my weakness but I enjoy it on my cheat days .

I love Friendly s ice cream especially on hot days and even cool days after I do my own training for special Olympics

Haven't been to a Friendly's in forever, so my sister and I decided to check it out! My French Dip SuperMelt was delicious! Two of my favorites in one! I wish my fries were hot, but my clam chowder was hot and delicious so that's a plus! My sister enjoyed her Philly Cheesesteak SuperMelt and her onion rings which were hot and with real onions she said! Lol We both enjoyed our sundaes at the end! Our waiter was friendly and attentive! Two thumbs up to him!

I came to this Friendly's with my two young boys this week. It's early Spring but feels like Winter. I used to work at friendlys in Long Island, NY as a teenager. So I knew it as very family oriented. I don't recall the menu being so elementary. But this is def a space for you to bring the kids! All of the food is very child friendly...from the tuna sandwich to the chicken pops to the drinks and the ice cream desserts! I can't stress enough that this place is for kids which was my sought after little of place for my kids but if you don't like kids or are looking for top chef food, this is not the place for you. I ordered a fishamajig (see what I mean) which is just a fish sandwich and it came with a very limp salad, super undesirable but kids don't like salads so it made sense. My boys had a quesadilla and chicken pops. The pics kind of speak for themselves but it's basically all food suitable for toddlers and kids. They had nice staff who were helpful and patient, and the ice cream deserts were great, hence the higher rating.

Breakfast for 3 $9. 50% breakfast m-f. Breakfast now til noon.

I love Friendly's - as long as you know what you're getting yourself into. You go for the ice cream. The Reese's pieces or peanut butter cup is my favorite. They have meals where ice cream comes with the meal. Lunch and dinner kid meals come with ice cream for $5. How can you beat that?! Kids can build their own sundae with 3 toppings which is fun but messy. Breakfast kids meals do not come with ice cream but are pretty filling. Breakfast for adults is 50% off Monday to Friday. I just paid $9 for 3 breakfasts which is unreal. Waffle, French toast and pancakes all fine. Kids meals come with bacon or sausage. I saw the elite review posting 1 star for kids kraft Mac and cheese and hot dog. Friendlys is not known for having 5 star food. It's better than fast food or Dairy Queen though. Salads aren't that healthy but the chicken fingers and fries are good. So know that you won't find anything healthy on the menu and only go when you want to eat 1000+ calorie meal. Even their sodas are huge. I loved this place as a child (what kid doesn't love ice cream) and love that it's around for my kids so stop posting the 1 star reviews and enjoy it for the ice cream shop restaurant it is. Plus it's super cheap. You can't find kids meals for $5 anywhere nowadays. And also it's super kid friendly so you don't have to feel weird bringing your little monsters into a restaurant ;)

We had Cowboys candy shrimp for an appetizer which was on the sweet side and still was delicious, like hot honey drizzle. I had the lentil burger with fried pickles. Sloppy and delicious, so be ready to get dirty! My husband had the linguine Pescatora, which had shrimp, mussels, and scallops. He said it was outstanding and he's a chef! It could have used a little fresh lemon, but still delicious! We also had two house beers. This New Jersey couple will be back! I didn't have the pleasure of visiting Dog & Bull before it was renovated, but I visited last night and can't wait to return. My friend and I made a reservation for 5:30 PM (just in case) as we read online that reservations were recommended, but I don't actually think one was needed. When you walk in, it's bright and inviting. The garage doors throughout the property provide a ton of natural light. I can only imagine how lovely it is when they're open in the summer. Additionally, the outside has a nice patio and an area with a fire pit. The restaurant's layout was designed wonderfully! Our server was Alex (Alexandria) and she was the epitome of exceptional service. She checked in on us multiple times and always had a smile on her face when she came over. We really appreciated having her. The baked feta and hummus appetizer was just as delicious as it looks in the photo. The thick pieces of garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, cucumbers and pita bread triangles paired so nicely with the feta. The hummus was warmed up and it looked like the kitchen staff may have torched the top of it. It was phenomenal. Boy do I have notes on the lentil burger - it was 10/10!! I'm not a big bean person and even though this burger had beans in it, it somehow tasted like an actual beef burger. Sounds crazy, I know, but trust and believe it was pure excellence. I added cheddar for an additional charge and upgraded my regular fries to garlic parm fries. Finally, the caramel apple bread pudding... oh my oh my! What a DELIGHT. The top was piled high with a big scoop of frosting. Yes, you read that right. Frosting! Not ice cream! You can taste the apple pieces in the bread pudding. My friend and I wanted to order it twice. It was THAT good. It was easy to make my way to Dog & Bull from Center City thanks to the Septa station located directly behind the restaurant. Street parking also wasn't too bad yesterday. I absolutely loved the experience I had here and will be stopping by again this summer! Thanks, Dog & Bull!

Loaded tater tots - tossed/coated with cheese and real bacon bits, instead of just a ladle of cheese on top. Cheesesteak eggrolls - Three large egg rolls cut into halves. Loaded with beef, but I don't think there was quite enough cheese. The spicy ketchup was good. Basil chicken (white wine sauce) with diced tomatoes and angel hair - not the most flavorful, but it could just be the nature of the dish. The chicken tasted freshly prepared. Sometimes it can taste nuked in some other restaurants. I used a spritz of lemon. I took leftovers home and put pecorino romano cheese. Cheese was the key missing ingredient for me. This was a very large portion for less than $19, so I think the meal was worth it. It also comes with soup and garlic bread/dinner rolls. The wedding soup was very very hearty and full of meatballs. I'm used to getting like three or four pieces. Not sure if there was an upcharge (I forgot to look), but even if there was it would have been worth it. Burger and fries - also huge portion and worth the price. It might not be the best, but for what they are charging I think it is very fair. These definitely taste like frozen fries, so do not expect too much. Service and staff were very friendly, despite what some reviews had mentioned.

Anyway if you've ever been here you know there is nothing around the mall but fast food. That's really not what I wanted. I was having so much trouble deciding we just ended up in the food court. You could smell the cheese steaks down the hall and it smelled really good. Good enough to coax me into a closer look. Upon a closer look the two guys running the shop were so friendly I was like yeah I'll do it. Only two guys doing door dash deliveries and live people in the food court. So one guy is taking orders then running back to cook. Then he was apologetic about the wait. I'm like take your time man! They were rocking it out. So then we get our food and it's really excellent. None of it is greasy. I got gourmet fries and a philly chicken cheesesteak. Fries weren't deep fried and greasy. Only complaint- worst ketchup receptacle at any restaurant ever. There is no way to hold it and keep the ketchup inside. Next time I come to a movie here I'll do it again.
