The fried Chicken Sandwich (at $5.25 is a bargain) was tender and juicy. The fried chicken drumstick (and fried chicken wings) was done to perfection and not overly crisp or hard from over frying. The flavor was spot on.. not too powerful but enough to bring out the taste. Their fries and onion rings are standard food service quality but they were cooked just right. Unfortunately the sauces seemed out of place as they were on the watery side, so getting this on the burger ain't happening, and dipping fries or onion rings just made it soggy (they do have the regular ketchup and ranch sauce). This was pretty surprising. This place shocked me with just how juicy and fresh their fried chicken is. The options are minimal here which can either be a good thing or bad thing depending on your preference. Don't come here unless you're wanting fried chicken or sides. The wait is at least 10-15 minutes as everything is made to order. Did you hear that? Super fresh! It is definitely worth the wait if you ask me. It was a very cold night. We were holding our small dog while waiting for a to-go order. They asked us to wait outside immediately. I understand that service dogs are only allowed but have some humanity. It was completely empty that day and we were giving them business. At the very least they could have let my pregnant wife wait inside but they asked all of us to leave without any shred of compassion. As a fellow asian, I know that sometimes asian business are cold but that doesn't mean that its ok. Sometimes it is not about the food but the people. Dining area pretty basic - felt boring and gloomy. Guy who took my order was straightforward and for what I expected on this day - fine for me. I ordered two wing orders for a total of 8 wings (4 drums and 4 wings) I thought it would be all flats as they have a option for 2 drumsticks by themselves but I'm guessing it's the larger leg ones and not the smaller drums. Little confusing but not a big deal. Sweet hot sauce was bad, ranch here was below mid. The wings don't have any seasoning and are boring. Soda options very limited or just get bottled water. I went and ordered a chicken sandwich. I asked for a water cup and the owner informed me that they don't have water cups, just bottled water for sale. I then asked if I could just have a soda cup and fill it up with water. He then informed me that the soda machine doesn't have a water dispenser. The chicken strips were normal fast food quality and the burger (with a nice bun and fresh toppings was ) mediocre. Cheese sticks weren't even melted inside. I'll be honest, I have not been back to this location since the Mom's Touch debacle had ended some time back. Prior to the Mom's Touch, the restaurant was a nice family run styled, Korean burger place, which had some fantastic bulgogi burgers. So to my surprise, it was very disappointing it had turned into a soulless Korean chicken franchise, that always ran out of food within a couple hours of opening, and had terrible service where nobody appeared to care. But I have some great news for all of you. This prime location in the downtown Concord has now turned back to a nice, close-knit, family run styled restaurant. Just a short walk away from the Brendan theater, it's conveniently located for movie goers, as well as the typical Los Todos frequenters who are there for events, such as farmers markets, and other activities. Parking might be an issue depending on the time of day you are visiting the location, so make sure to account for that. Luckily there is a parking structure right behind the building, also many other lots around the area, so you will have options while searching. The decor of the place has not changed much since its previous form, and looks pretty much the same, with some minor adjustments to the signage hanging up on the walls, and what not. Cleanish, with the occasional uncleaned table, but it's practically a fast food restaurant, so it's more or less a given as the staff seem more than busy behind the counter, and never saw anybody actually come out to clean the tables off. Okay amount of seating both inside, and out. The menu has basically stayed the same as before; fried chicken, and lots of it. It still has the bulgogi burger on the menu. There are just a few sides, fries, onion rings, and cheese sticks. A bit of a warning, if you're visiting here expecting to get a salad or something, this isn't the place for it, as their menu is very straight forward just chicken, with a small side of beef. They have a handful of meal options, so if you want a meal with a side of fries and drink to go along with your burger, they have you covered. Price wise, everything is basically on par in regards to the portions they provide you with here. A thing to note, they do have a sign that informs the customer it takes 15 minutes to make their food, so if you're in a rush, this might not be the best place to be to just pop in and grab a bite quickly. However, they are accurate with their times, as I got my order right around the 15 minute mark, so at least they're honest. Let's take a look at the food now. Even though I had a craving for the drumsticks, when I got there, it was more or less the last thing on my mind, since there were so many other options I wanted to try out, so next time. What I did have was the chicken with cheese burger, the chicken strips, and the popcorn chicken. The chicken with cheese burger was nicely done, with the chicken well fried, meaty, and crispy. The inside had lots of fresh veggies to pair with it, and the sauce underneath was yummy, and worked well with the rest of the burger. Satisfying. The chicken strips were also nice, but compared to the other two, may have been fried a bit too much, as it had a touch of dry to it compared to the other meats I had. The popcorn chicken were indeed little bites of delish, and were tender, and fried well. The sauce station is important for all of you to be aware of, as it will certainly add some layers and flavor to your strips, popcorn, or the other fried foods that may accompany your meal. Might even want to dabble a bit on your burger, but to be honest, probably not needed. I'm happy to see Fresh Tray has revived this spot again, and providing great food, at a decent price. If you want scrumptious fried chicken, and have some time on your hands, this is a great place to help fulfill that craving. Just be aware that there will be a wait, even if they aren't as busy, but for fried chicken lovers, it's more than likely worth the wait. read more

I was smart enough to keep the box open so the batter stayed pretty crispy. My daughter's chicken tenders were pretty moist as well & she didn't eat hers until several hours later. My son & niece both got the chicken burger & they both said it was ok. My son said he'd much rather have a Chick-Fil-A, but he was still fine with it. My nephew got the popcorn chicken, which he didn't comment on at all so I assume he was find with his food since he's a complainer & if he doesn't complain, it's usually a good sign. My only complaint is that the food took almost half an hour to make, and I was sitting in the car waiting so it felt even longer.
