Yum!!! Got take out here and took it to the Thursday summer concert. The lady at the counter is SO SWEET. Food is made fresh so takes 10 minutes but the signs say that and it is so hot and juicy. The chicken is deep fried to perfect and it's a ginormous piece but I felt they skimp on the sauce. You can pay $1 extra for more sauce though. It was fresh, moist, crunchy, and perfectly seasoned. The wings were surprisingly huge because its the whole wing not just the flat/drums. They offer an array of sauces on the side for dipping which they make in house. My only complaint is their limited side options. They really only offer fries and that isn't my thing. I brought a container of rice with me so I could really chow down (LOL tell me youre asian without telling me you're asian) all in all that would be my only complaint and what's holding me back from a full 5 stars. They have a small menu but for what it is worth, whatever is there is amazing. We had the bulgogi burger - sweet bulgogi patty with their signature bulgogi sauce. It is a little sweet but that is what it is, sweet teriyaki style meat. I myself loved it. Chicken and cheese burger - first of all who makes them this big...Fresh Tray does. Not only is it an amazing fried chicken sandwich, but it tastes AWESOME! Nice and crispy on the outside and tender and juicy in the inside. I don't think I have had anything that good before. Two piece drumsticks....same...the chicken is a good portion and super crispy and juicy. They also have limeades which I have to say the honey dew was my favorite. Passion fruit is my second. The onion rings weren't amazing, but they were good. The fries were great. I'd skip the onion rings next time and just get fries. We also got the honeydewade and strawberryade drinks. I ordered fried drumsticks for my daughter and she devoured it. I didn't get to taste it but just from the smell and looks of it ...I imagine it to be very tasty and juicy. However I do think it's quite expensive, $5 for two drums. They should sell a bucket of thighs and drums!! I wish they would offer a spicy version. I'm sure it would be a hit!! For dipping sauces we chose ranch & sweet hot. At first glance everything looked so good & was super hot "fresh". But as we started to eat the food told a different story. Everything tasted sort of off & didn't have much flavor. It was very much lacking seasoning. The fries tasted off as well & tasted just like the chicken, so I'm guessing it's fried in the same oil? Fresh Tray was previously called Mom's Touch which is a popular chicken burger establishment in South Korea. Turns out, their first American location happens to be in downtown Concord! Since last year, they have rebranded themselves, with a simpler menu. Fresh Tray is suitable name for this place since their chicken is made cooked to order (will take 10-15 min). I had their standard Chicken Burger and the first thing that came to my mind was: "Where do I take my first bite?" The chicken patty is the most massive of all chicken sandwiches I have had in my lifetime! First bite in and the breaded chicken was seasoned well with pepper and other spices. The chicken was juicy and tender! I also noticed their specialty honey-mustard sauce, was a nice touch to the chicken burger! The lettuce, tomato, and onions looked and tasted fresh. Their fries are crispy and I appreciate how they offer a generous amount! There is also a condiment bar with a sweet hot sauce, ranch, bbq sauce, and ketchup! I recommend the sweet hot! Fresh Tray is spacious and they keep the place fairly tidy. They have one restroom inside which is clean. A couple years ago I remember this place being better but the place kinda fell off. Every time I come here, the prices are increased. A regular sandwich is around $8.50 now after tax. It used to be a great deal but now I guess it's a standard price. Even though the owner on Yelp says it's "Take out or Phone order", they don't accept phone calls anymore (should probably remove that). You can only order online via Clover. I walked over and ordered my sandwich and waited maybe 10-15 minutes (not too bad but a little long). They don't give water cups; you have to pay $1.50 for a bottled water. The sandwich itself was not bad. The piece of chicken was good, crunchy, & pretty big, but they didn't give enough sauce so it tasted a little dry. I ordered the basic chicken sandwich which comes with lettuce, tomato, onions, soft bun and a nice mild but spicy spread. The chicken is tender with a very nice batter thaat is crunchy without being over-battered. They give you a fair amount of lettuce that adds to the sandwich without overpowering it so that it tastes like a salad. I had French Fries which has a coating but is good. My buddy ordered onion rings with his chicken which I liked more than then fries. Overall, just an outstanding fresh tasting flavorful sandwich that I will definitely make the drive to eat there again. I was browsing through Yelp and somehow landed on an article that stated that the first Mom's touch -- an extremely popular chain in Korea -- opened in Concord, CA. I always watched YouTube videos of mukbangers eating Mom's Touch and heard from friends in Korea that it's elite fast food. Bad news: Mom's Touch closed down Good news: BUT after doing a bit of research, I found out that Fresh Tray was the same as Mom's Touch but the name had just changed!! When I went in to order, I asked about this and they told me that it's under the same ownership as before and that they serve the same food as when it used to be called Mom's Touch. I'm not too sure exactly what happened, but maybe there were some complications while running the franchise. I wouldn't say that it's considered a fast-food chain, although their menu mainly consists of "fast food". I went in way past lunch time when it wasn't that busy and it took around 15 minutes for them to make my order. But this only means that their food is FRESH. Btw, I am personally not a huge fan of chicken sandwiches. Even when I go to Chick-fil-a, I only order chicken tenders. However, I knew that I had to try their signature chicken sandwich so I ended up ordering the cheese chicken sandwich combo to-go. The chicken sandwich was pretty good (again, I'm not crazy about chicken sandwiches) and their fries were mediocre but what made their food really stand out was their most popular sweet hot sauce. The sweet hot sauce is BOMB. I could've drenched my sandwich and fries in this sauce, but sadly I only asked them for one :( Forget the other basic sauces!!! Get the sweet hot sauce!!!
