I had a really good experience overall. I came in late at around 9 and the whole place was still pretty busy. They're very on top of what they need to do. All the workers were very attentive and nice. I had tips and powder on beforehand, which do take some extra effort in removing but my nail tech was very patient and meticulous. When she filed my nails, she always made sure I liked the shape and length of each of them. I accidentally hit a table after my nails were painted and they were very nice about it. She quickly redid it and I was good to go. My cuticles turned out super moisturized and clean as well! For the prices here, it's totally worth it. A regular manicure is only $7. read more

Went here tonight for the first time to try it out. I wanted a mani-pedi cleaning. I know something's wrong when she's about to finish my pedicure and I see that my toe nails were still long. So she cut them--but didn't even try to take out the ingrowns. So when she did, she knicked one of my small toes. It just looked unfinished. So if this was the case for my pedicure, you can just imagine the manicure. I literally had to tell her what to do. And she knicked one of my nails that it bled. The tools were not sharp that instead of cutting the cuticles, she was pulling them. Because of this, it looked jagged and unfinished. I just waited for her to finish and wanted to get out of there. I am thrilled that I came across this place. Today was my third day coming to this salon. The nail technician, Lily gives me beautiful and precise manicure/pedicures. Not to mention, her massages are great as well! A lot of the reviews that are listed on yelp are not so positive but THEY WERE WRITTEN IN 2011!! I really like that the employees do not push services on you, and they are polite. They do not speak their native languages in front of you to make you feel uncomfortable. Everyone from my experience is very hospitable. Most importantly, it is clean! I really like the vibe and atmosphere of the place. It is difficult to find a nail salon that is affordable (Monday-Thursday $14.99 for mani/pedi and Friday-Sunday $20). They have a wide variety of colors to choose from, and really nice spa pedicure packages! From my experience, the customers that come in here are also down to earth. It is in such a great location because it's within walking distance to Marshall's and a wonderful 99 cent store next door. Top notch nail salon. read more

Every time I come back to NYC for the summer, one of my first stops is this nail salon! From Mon-Thurs, its $14.99 for a mani and pedi and from Fri-Sun its $20. Pretty cheap and they give you a mini back massage when you start drying your nails :) They also offer different types of simple massages, eyelash perm (?) and waxing. It's pretty clean inside, they do a good job, everyone is really nice and I never have to wait! read more

I'm still scouring my 'hood for a nail spot. I just get regular manicures/pedicures, and my first/last visit was for a regular mani. I was trying to tell my manicurist that I wanted round nails and she had no idea what I was saying. I'm not trying to be a jerk bc she barely speaks English, but I mean, shouldn't you at least know shapes? :( She then pulled out a completely rusted nail clipper. The entire inside was rusted to the point where I don't even know how she got it to work. It was so gross. I stopped her before she touched me, and interrupted the owner while he was doing another woman's nails to point it out. He came over and like, yelled at her and threw it out all dramatically. I should have just gotten up and left at that point... I don't know why I didn't. The rest of the manicure was fine, and I didn't end up getting any type of infection/fungus/etc., thank God, but I definitely will NOT be going back there. read more

This is definitely the worst nail place I had ever been to. The manager is a complete jacka** and super disrespectful. I came here for my prom nails and his attitude towards me when entering the store was as if he would much rather have me leave. Not welcoming at all. He rushed through my nails and charged me $55 for gel powder with tip. Thats overpriced considering that the manicure didnt even last one week because on day 4 all my nails were lifted and I couldnt even comb my fingers through my hair without it tugging on every strand that came under it. Washing my hair for the week was a nightmare. I had to come back to fix it because no way should a $55 gel powder manicure last less than a week. He couldnt be bothered. Left me for 20 mins to smoke a cigarette and then came back and messed it up even more by filing off the lifted parts and coating it with the clear polish they use for the gel powder. Didnt even bother replacing the light pink color i originally had. Super disappointed. My sister actually likes him and told him that she was going to bring her friend to also do her nails here and he told her No. He said he doesnt need our money and when she thought he wasnt being serious he said "I told you, dont bring them here.No more" I cant believe that the manager of such a nice place is so incredibly rude. Me and my friend were out last night & by 9 we decided to get our nails done, but most nail salons were already closed. This one was open till 10:30 so I called & we both got manicures, which were quick. The nails came out great but by the time i was done it was around 10:20 ish & by 10:25 they were rushing us out. This is my second time here and I am disappointed yet again. I had bought a groupon for the place across the street but end up coming too late every time (they close at 4) so had to resort to this place. My toe nails and fingernails weren't straight or even. My mom decided to get a design and the lady literally made two lines and three dots. It looked like a five year old drew it. They half-ass your pedis and manis. Never ever going back there. Their discount mani/pedi draws you in. Be warned- this place is infection city. Because of this deal they often skip the sterilization in between clients, or perhaps they don't have enough extra sets to always have clean tools on hand. Just terrible. I went to this nail salon on MLK Day this year and because I figured that it would understaffed I called them to let them know I would be coming. I let them know that there would be 3 people that are coming and we need services for all 3. She took a minute and then told me they were staffed and to come. I arrived to find that there were only 2 people working and one of them was taking care of another customer. The lady who was free sat us 3 down on the pedicure chairs and she proceeded to do a mani pedi for all 3 of us. Our mani pedis were rushed. So rushed that the lady gave my sister a cut on her foot, didn't apologize and kept working. My sister now has two swollen, itchy toes. I came here last night for the first time for a Mani and Pedi. I do like that the place is open till late which works great for my work schedule. I got there about 8:30. The service is ehhhh. But I didn't like that The lady rushed through my pedi barely even scrubbed my feet. And when I asked her to scrub a little more she kind of got annoyed. Came here after my night class because it was opened late until 1030, and was in a desperate need for a fill in. The man who did my nails really impressed me! I'm very picky with my nails most ppl call it perfectionist or anal but I can't stand artificial nails that don't look real or natural, they have to me perfectly shaped and symmetrical and from my experiences, male technicians and those who wear glasses usually mess them up. I was the last customer there with only the guy there, who also wore glasses,lol. I was expecting this to take long, but my goodness I was so happy. It's not a very big store but it's pretty clean. The store is open from 9:30 and closed until 10:30, it's very good for some ppl that worked late ,and it's not that pricy. For ex, it's only $15 for both mani&pedi from Mon to Thur and $20 on Fri and weekend. And I think the store just get a new owner, about a year? Never go here! I went in for a mani and brow wax and left with broken hair and baby oil on the side of my head. Terrible service. The lady Helen (I believe that was her name) was waxing my eyebrows and dropped wax on the side of my hair on my roots. She calls another worker over and grabs the baby oil to put it in my hair where the wax is without even telling nor asking me! I HATE putting oil in my hair. For one I had just had my hair done in the salon and they officially ruined my nice blow-dried hair I had just paid for, 2 I have oily hair already and try to preserve my hair my any means necessary........ I walked out looking like a grease ball. They took a comb and starting to comb out the hair section that now had wax AND baby oil. She ripped some of my hair and I try very hard not to react and rip hers. They took about another 30 mins to remove the wax which was another disappointment bc I had intended of just going in and out quickly since I had a 6 months old baby to get home to. I asked her to reimburse me back, I was very upset, they just said sorry and gave me 7 dollars. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! you have no idea how upsetting their service was. Ok this is my first ever review that's how happy I am with this place. I been going to Rouge for the past 3 years and now I am wondering why I let myself go thru that. I have been in many nail salons around queens and the city and let me tell you I have never been this happy with how professional efficient and just great overall they are. My first impression was 'they r so serious.. walk out!' But then as I sat down and let this man work his magic doing a fill in my horrible acrylic nails I was amazed. The amount of time... Precision (he even compared the length of my nails) that's how precise his work is. As well as cleaning my nails and cutting my cuticles was amazing .. And best of all didn't cut me. Cus let me tell u I have gotten cut many times at nail salons. They wouldn't even say sorry, they would just put something on my bleeding cuticles. I read other reviews saying this place is dirty, I saw this lady cleaning like 3 times each pedicure machine. Overall, I won't waste my time going again to that other place where there is a waiting and the ladies are in bad mood asking why you come so late... The owner is a little aggressive..he isn't rude, just slightly aggressive. My mom and I got the jelly spa pedicure and holy moly, that was the best time I've ever spent! The lady who did my feet, her name is Wendy, was very sweet and polite. She was very attentive and constantly made sure the temperature of the water was fine and overall that I was comfy. The package I purchased came with a 10 minute massage but as my feet dried they also gave me a mini-massage. It was lovely. Would I go again? Definitely! It's a very relaxing place. My first time here and I got Wendy. She did a great job on my pedicure. Not much on conversation. My gel manicure was decent. She did a good job BUT she made 1 of my cuticles bleed and it chipped 2 days later and my nails looked horrible. Never had that happen on Sheeac before. I think they use a crappie top and bottom coats and 1 of the coats wasn't applied at all. I saw girls getting regular manicure and pedi and they looked great. Price is excellent! May return to try mani pedi next time but I would bring my own base and top coat. read more

Monday to thursday man ipedis are only $15! can't beat that!! and what i absolutely love are their massage chairs when you're getting your pedicure.
