From the moment I walked into A Plus Head Spa in Queens, I felt extremely welcomed! The atmosphere was lovely, everything was clean, and the owner was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She greeted me with the biggest smile, and I immediately felt comfortable. I also loved how quick and efficient the staff were. I scheduled my appointment the day before, arrived five minutes early, and my room was already set up and ready for me. No waiting around, just great service from the start!
I have to give a special shoutout to Nancy, who performed my facial, scalp detox, and massage. She was so sweet and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire experience. Honestly, her hands are MAGIC! Not everyone has the ability to give a massage that feels both effective and incredibly gentle, but Nancy absolutely does.
I've had massages in the past where the pressure was too deep and painful, especially around my neck and back. Nancy, however, applied the PERFECT amount of pressure to my scalp, neck, and upper back. She knew exactly what she was doing, and I could genuinely feel the tension melting away. When it came to my face, her touch was so delicate that it honestly felt like her hands were made of silk. I absolutely loved that!
The facial was amazing, too! She removed every single blackhead on my nose, and I didn't feel a single bit of pain. I always thought blackhead extractions were supposed to hurt, but the steam must have really helped soften everything and open up my pores. My face felt incredible afterward! The facial massage, especially the upward strokes along my cheeks and the massage between my eyebrows, felt SO relaxing. Every single product she used smelled wonderful, and the shampoo or treatment used for my scalp detox smelled absolutely incredible. My scalp and face felt so refreshed afterward!
Overall, this was truly a 10/10 experience, and I couldn't be happier. As a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling mother, and wife, I spend so much of my time taking care of my family. Sometimes you really need a moment to decompress, relax, and release all that built-up tension in your head, neck, and back. This experience was exactly what I needed, and I'm so grateful I got to enjoy it.
