Sudesh threaded my eyebrows so beautifully. For $6, it's also a great price. I've been coming to Rani for my eyebrows for some time now, and this spa has really gained my trust. read more

HORRIBLE! Went to this "spa" for a facial special and experienced the worst facial ever. The service I recieved was not professional in anyway. The price was very reasonable...but I guess I got what I paid for. Also, the products they used felt as if they were burning my face and the experience overall was not at all relaxing! Never again. Amazed that they remain in business! WARNING!! Avoid this place. read more

This is one of the worst places to get anything done to your face! The ladies who work here are not professionals. I asked for a full face removal and what I got was crooked eyebrows due to the woman using her neck to thread my eyebrows?! The wax was semi warm and the thread used was cheap! The owner should be ashamed of the condition of the establishment. Stay away, unless you don't mind crooked eyebrows and some of your hair removed. Not to mention, the unpleasant and gaudy "spa" atmosphere. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. I've been twice and I get the same thing, can you come back later, we Are busy. Ummmm no I can't come back. In fact, I will never come back read more

This review is for their eyebrow threading. I've been to this place a bunch of times and every time I either come out with uneven eyebrows, cuts from threading, or a bit of resentment from being a poorly treated customer. Sometimes, it has been a combination of all three. I used to visit Rani regularly because of the convenient location, but became fed up of the bad service. Currently, getting my eyebrows done at a different business may be less convenient but is worth it. Don't go here unless you like getting attitude or employees regularly stepping away while doing your eyebrows to speak to each other or to take personal calls (seriously, doing someone's eyebrows only takes 10-20 mins; can't it wait?!). Oh, and of course, cuts and missed hairs. read more

I have been going here for years, and always very pleased. The employees here aim to please. I just explain exactly what I want and they are happy to please me. Yes, the girls speak a foreign language, but they understand English perfectly. The owner of the spa stops in a few times monthly to make sure everything going good. She is the nicest person ever. I was lucky enough to be there on the day she visited. She was hands on working on customers. Dr. Rani was courteous to all customers. I will never forget how kind and humble she was. read more

Sudesh is the only one I like touching my brows. I've gone to so many eyebrow places and they always ruin my eyebrows. Shes the only one who knows how to handle them. She's quick with them too. read more

Very rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. Don't waste your time and money here. This is the worst place to get your eyebrows threaded on Liberty ave. I can understand if you have new employees who recently finished beauty school and are developing skills, but in addition to performing bad services, these people are extremly rude and disrespectful. There are many other places on Liberty ave that you can go to. WARNING: Avoid this place!! read more

THESE PEOPLE SUCK BIG TIME! I swear if you go to them for eyebrows then you simply don't know what eyebrows should look like! The do a horrible job I completly stoped her in the middle of threading because she would of taken the whole thing off (and my brows are very thick)! Never will step back here again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I'm always scared to get my eyebrows done since many places just pull hair and don't do it right. I have had a woman ruin my eyebrows leaving them shapeless, uneven and very thin. After allowing my eyebrows to grow like Oscar the Grouch from Sesame Street, I decided to try Rani. The place was clean, quiet and the girls looked nice and professional. I did get one or 2 cuts though but my eyebrows were nice, even and thick. I believe all of them do a great job, but you can ask for Faisa. :) read more

First of all I am very particular with my eyebrows. I like them thick but with shape and my skin is very sensitive so it breaks easily. I decided to go here because I just moved to NY and didn't have much time to do research. The employees were all friendly and nice. Jolly did my brows prefect! I simply explained how I liked them and told her that my skin is sensitive. She did an awesome job. No cuts, so I'm super happy and she made them the way I love it! I'm definitely going back to her. read more

I only came here because they were open later than the usual places i go to although i normally never have a good experience coming here. Came in for eyebrow, upper lip and chin hair removal. The girl didn't thread my chin well. The next day hair was already growing back. I told her to clean my brows and they were trimmed unevenly. The thread used is poor quality also. I would not recommend coming here. read more

I went here again to give it another chance but wrong move the girl there dropped wax on my hair and then tried to wipe it off!!!! Never again!!! Don't even ask me to take this down like my last review!!! read more

1st off this place charged my credit card 3 times!! And they didn't even return my money after calling several times! I had to call my bank to get my money back! This place is a scam!! I should of known because it's so dirty in there with no customers. read more

They do an OK job, depending on their moods. I usually want them to wax my eyebrows before they thread it,because to me it feels like it numbs the pain, but one employee tried to charge extra for that, when ive been paying the same price for years. smh read more

Idiots work here. Went here four times to do my eyebrows this year and they literally ruin my browns every single time. it's almost like they did it on purpose. I have even, full brows and all I need was for them to thread the new unwanted hair. They had one simple job and managed to frig it up every single time. Might as well give up at life. Found a better spa and I'm happier. read more

Bought 3 facial mask here, was given products that were opened an used ,why are the employees mixing products that they have used with products to be sold. ? .... read more

Don't come here! I let my eyebrows grow out as one had more of an arch than the other and when I came I told her if she can try to even it out... Instead she does the complete opposite, one eyebrow is now much more thinner than the other! On top of that the girl doing my eyebrows had another girl come and spoke within their language than for the other girl to start working on my eyebrows. I asked if everything was okay and she laughed and said yea and went on and took so much more hair off. Never coming back here again. read more

Although I've been here and other locations in the past for haircuts/facial/eyebrows I was VERY disappointed with my recent visit. Although the staff was nice, the haircut was horrible. I came home with hair all over my face. Never shown the back of the hair cut, I was so angry at that point I just left. I was sitting in a ordinary table chair which had to be moved repeatedly. And the bangs she cut for me were NOT straight and too short. Nothing like the image she snowed me. To make it all worse I was for a "blowout" the hair dresser put some gunk in my hair that made it hard and unmanageable, blow dried half my head, got tired and decided to straight iron the other half. There were 2 different textures left. Had the nerve to say it was GREAT. Of all my experiences, this was horrible. Not to mention the girls arguing over the hairdresser cleaning up the hair while she was still cutting my hair. I definitely will NOT return and recommend no one else go their for a haircut either. I got home and wash and blow dried my own hair only to be left with messed up bangs I now have to pull back until they grow in again. Horrible service. I hate this place now. Thanks for ruining my hair. read more
