went to this salon to get my eyebrows done. The woman who did them, Shogakhat Isayan, was extremely rude and unprofessional. I told her exactly what shape and light color I wanted, but she completely ignored my opinion. At first, the result didn't look too bad, but over time the shape became uneven and the color turned dark and mismatched. This woman clearly lacks experience and makes everyone's eyebrows look the same -- and honestly, they look terrible. I deeply regret going to this salon. Please don't make the same mistake I did. I wouldn't even give this a one star after everything that's I have gone. I went in got my eyebrows done, tattooed ombre hy Sho, which was fine. Then, I wanted to do the k tip extensions. Kept going back-and-forth, if I really wanted to get them, but then Sho the own they say convinced me to get them, and it wasn't the right color I asked for after showing photo of res hair but they said to me that they would dye them and put them in and that they were the best extensions that you can get that doesn't damage your hair (lie). The day of the extension's insertion, one already fell out. They said, oh, it's okay. We'll go ahead and add it back in when you get a refill. I was not very happy with that, but I was like, okay, that's fine I spend over $700 and was a waste of money because a Couple days later, more fell out and they didn't even last more than 2 weeks. Then more and more fill out didnt last 2 month and poor quality ruined my hair. I work also for a hair transplant, and dermatology, and I've seen the damage that it did to my hair. It was very unsatisfying, seeing this underneath the microscope, I spoke to the manager and tried to get a refunded. Or what they can do to help with the situation they said, oh, it's okay, come back.We'll go ahead and add them back to your head for no charge.After the damage, I decided that I would not put these back in ever again.I spoke to the manager again to see if I can get a full refund because they were supposed to last longer than two months.They didn't even last two months.I'm very unsatisfied and upset with this situation.I will never go back or refer anybody to this place. I have a usual place in BKlyn but wanted to try the new I will say Eastern European type where they use a different product. It's lighter on your nail bed and the cuticle are cut really nice. I had an apt with NATO. She did a really nice job my last manicure done in Manhattan it was rushed and was done to thick, breaking my nails. She cleaned it up using the newer products and again non rushed with TLC. I used them in Manhattan for hair and although it's a tad out of the way in BKlyn they didn't disappoint. read more

100% agree with the one star reviewer below. This is solely for the microblading service. I wish I saw her comment before. I just left the salon after having the exact same experience. Drove an hour and a half to meet this "professional" who insisted I arrive a half hour early from the time I said I could come, only to have me wait for her for one hour! When she finally took me she was rude but I tried to be friendly and figured maybe there was a language barrier. As she started drawing the shape on my brows I asked her questions and said I would like to adjust the end, etc (it is a tattoo on my face after all and the shape looked very off!!!) and she started fighting me saying she doesnt understand, that I keep telling her different things (i was literally showing her pictures and drawing it on my face as well- i could not have been clearer or morw polite). She was so belligerent and obnoxious, I have never ever been treated that way by any professional. I tried to diffuse the situation but she just kept raising her voice, rolling her eyes and shaking her head like a 12 year old Theresa Guidice. Finally I said that there is clearly a lack of fit and its better we dont continue. (To be clear this is not my first rodeo with microblading and NEVER have I had an interaction like this before with any artist, who are head and shoulders above the quality and clientele this person professes. I only came here because of some of the reviews here, a couple of nice pictures and its close to my family who live nearby. What a mistake!) What a horrible experience and waste of time!! I'll spend 5x on a different artist before I ever ever consider stepping foot in that place again. Horrible! If I could give a negative 10 stars I would. I arrived on time for my appointment. I was told the manicurist would be 15 minutes. It was an hour. I noticed the salon Was a bit run down and unorganized. But when I went to the pedicure area. I thought I was in the subway. It was filthy and crap all over. Down right dirty. The bathroom was filthy and it was the kind of dirt that takes weeks to pile up. There was no Covid precautions being taken, no sanitizing. It was horrific. I came to this place with broken damaged hair, I went here hoping it would help me with the best reviews I read online. I asked for root touch up/balayage which is $125 after first wash the lady said she needed to bleach it again for a quick moment because my hair is too dark, I told her can't you just toned it the brass one? cos my hair is very fragile (I saw a lot of broken hair after first wash) in the sink and she went ahead bleach it again, and she didn't mention that I will get charge twice for that. The other girl offer me a hair treatment for $40 (Olaplex) I said I will take it cos my hair really need it. The $200 cost is misleading since it generally takes two procedures, and the additional cost is $150 so approximate total is $400 with tip. And the pictures shown aren't how the eyebrows will look after a week. Even though mine don't look as expected, I wouldn't go back. Didn't like how I was treated, especially as a first-time customer. I sat holding my coat the entire time, wasn't shown where I could hang it or offered a cup of coffee (was winter). Lesson learned: if something seems too good to be true, it usually is. I went to this salon after I saw a promotion on Instagram for Balayage. I had an appointment with Evelina, there is definitely a language barrier so I should have known this was going to be a tough session. I asked for a root touch up and Balayage, I asked for my Balayage color to be icy grey in which the stylist in the next chair explained to me because I didn't understand Evelina that she could not get me the color that I wanted because my root color was dark and the bleach won't get that light, she also told me that grey would make me look old. I was already feeling a way about the language barrier so I said fine just get my hair light with the Balayage. By the time my hair was done I was disappointed not only by the color but with the blowout that she did on my hair because she was attempting to dry my hair and then flatten with a flat iron which I do not do. Usually after my Balayage stylists put a conditioner in my hair which did not happen at this salon. The biggest disappointment was that she didn't do a Balayage it looks like she highlighted my hair but there isn't any dimension, Prior to coming in I had a money piece which is now gone and you could see the dimension. I came in for a root touch up because I have grey hair and it seems like my entire hair color changed. I reached out on Instagram to complain that I did not like the outcome of my hair. I got a response to come back in so they can fix it but when I asked how they were going to fix it I was told they would put a toner. Toner is not going to turn this highlight job into a Balayage. I was also made to feel as if it was my fault for not showing a photo of what I wanted, I have never had an issue with Balayage before I said what I wanted and the technique was applied. I spent $260 on the highlights that were done on my hair but what I asked for was Balayage. Do not go here, they scam you. They tell you one amount then change the price when it's time to pay. Had called and asked what the price would be for a full set nails would be here. I was told $65-70 and ask how long it would take, they told me a full set will take 2 hours. the day of my appointment the girl girl went to get give me a regular manicure and proceeded to polish my own nails... I told her no I wanted a full set , my nails are too short and booked a full set. She then told me that's called a full set extension. I said ok but I asked how long it would take and they said 2 hours a regular manicure wouldn't take 2 hours... anyway so she said ok I will do it... to my surprise my bill went from $70 to $150, for simple nails, nothing fancy just basic simple nails. Still no problem. The guy asked if I wanted to leave the tip on the card and I said no, I will give that in cash. He pulled out the cc receipt and o was charged $150, i signed it and gave the girl a $30 tip and called it a day. Loved how my nails looked but never had paid $180 total for any sort of nails. Well today I was looking at my cc statement online and noticed they charged me $167.83. I called and asked why did they charge more then what I authorized. They told me bc you charged it.. I said so what, you never said that it would be more. He said no that's a cc fee, I said for almost $18. He then changed it to oh no that's the tax... I said even if it was tax the bill I signed would have that written on it for me too see what you are charging it for. You charged me more money after I left without my knowledge. These ppl are fraud.. beware they charge your more after you leave in hopes you won't remember or it will blend in with your other charges so it becomes an oversight. $200 for basic gel"extensions " that's insane. This is definitely a clean, good looking salon which offers a lot of services. I don't hate my hair after coming here, but I'll explain what happened exactly. When booking, I said I wanted root touch up after a baleyage (5months) and a trim. My fault, because I should've asked for price upfront but I checked their pricing on vagaro and it was very reasonable. I get this young girl who is very nice but definitely doesn't understand everything I say. The color on top came out too white, which I said I didn't want and she sprayed water all down my shirt and in my ears. When the color was done, I said this is how I want my hair cut, to which she says. "I don't cut hair"...so I never got the haircut. So I go to pay, owner(I later found out he's the owner) says $200 so I give him my card and left a cash tip because I still always tip unless a person is rude (she wasn't). 3 days later I see a 227.75$ charge which when i called, the owner explained was tax and credit card service charge. ...If you tell me $200 which is not cheap for hightlight touch up, then u charge $11 service charge on top, without saying it...not cool. Should've asked for cash which I would've withdrawn. Owner offered to void Cc charge if I come and pay $200, so I go in same day, salon is closed.
