Been coming here since the beginning of 2020, off & on. I usually get a pedicure & eyebrows waxed by Bertha & dip powder by the owner. Due to the pandemic, I've been here once & made an appointment yesterday for soak off of acrylic and dip powder mani. The salon was staffed instead of the rei original workers. Because the soak off was going to take sometime, I was suggested to get a pedicure which was a gel pedi, but I was getting a regular pedicure. The reason why I'm giving this salon 4 stars is because the lady who did my pedicure yesterday was so aggressive, didn't know how to use the tools & cut my big toe. That's usually my fear at salons & when it happens, I'm weary about getting pedicures. Nevertheless, my pedicure was decent besides bleeding & my french dip powder mani looks fabulous. Thanks ladies! The best nail salon! I first stopped by to do my eyebrows and upper lips. And noticed how clean and meticulous the owner is when it comes to nails. I had to wait for a little since she was finishing someone's nails. A week past and i decided to try the salon agian this time for my gel manicure. And glad I did! One of the best gel manicures ever. I freaking loved the place ! I had called to make an appointment - but Mayra was helpful and told me she had an opening and I rushed over. I immediately was taken for my pedicure, another lady took care of me, I wish it would have lasted a bit longer- I didn't get the scrub for 35 dollar pedicure but hey overall it was good. My toes were in bad shape due to a back injury. Both these ladies worked at another nail salon and my daughter had been looking for her ever since. We lucked up and found both ladies in new beautiful home. Both these humble ladies are hard workers. We are so blessed to find them. My daughter loves their manicures. Her nails looked outstanding. I will never in my life go to this place. My 11 year old got an infection in her toe from this place. They reuse the same tools on each person and never put it on any sterilization solution or change tools for the person. On top of that the technician cut my daugther nail too short and left the ingrown in. I wish my daugther would've let me know sooner of what she saw instead of telling me after her session. I unfortunately did not sit next to her to see all this because I had knee surgery and sat on the other side of the salon until she was finished. When I told the technician that why aren't they changing the tools she pretended like she didn't understand.Do not come here at all they are not trained well. read more

Mayra Nails & Spa is a chic new spot that I'm completely in love with the ambience of the space. The owner Mayra, who has done my nails at a prior salon has really grown into a self made talent. She is a bit shy but very welcoming and nice. They also give one of the best pedicures ever. The products are far from cheap and overall I left there with a smile. Was not satisfied with my mani pedi and also the salon was not clean. Toe nails hurt from how harsh they were working on it. They shaped my nails nicely but other than that, nothing else I liked abt the service. I feel awful writing this review but they were really rough on my nails and it's all scratched up from the buffing, 3 weeks later. ‍ giving 3 stars because I'd feel guilty giving 1 star. They say that when you find a good eyebrow and nail lady always be faithful. I've known Mayra and her Aunt Berta for years now. They've been doing my nails for the past 7 years. Mayra has recently opened up her new nail salon and I couldn't be any happier! I followed both of them! This is one of those nail salons that is quality definitely counts more than quantity. Mayra's nail salon was very clean from the moment I walked in. I brought my own nail polish snd Bertha took care of me. She was very thorough a bit rough with the foot massage during my pedicure (but you can ask her to apply lighter pressure), but she did an excellent job cleaning my toe nails as well as my manicure. This is a larger nail salon and I saw that they provide massages in the back. My only pet peeve is that I did not see them open a new package of nail clippers and nail filers. They may not be aware, but this is sanitary concern. I also wish that my temperature was taken upon walking inside, after all we are still dealing with a COOVID 19 pandemic. Other than that good service and spacious. I only saw there workers there so make sure you make an appt otherwise be prepared to wait a while. read more

I had the worst experience at Mayra Nail Salon this is the first time having a worst experience, I had gotten Sns Dip powder from Rosa and she shaped the nails very well but I didn't understand why there was so much drilling your real nails. The sns was only three coats. She used regular clear top coat from Essie which I didn't understand, isn't there some special top coat sns uses. So anyway I got them done October 1st so they were good and then coming like over the weekend my thumb nail on the right side cracked. So I'm like why is my nails chipping I just got them done. Called Myra and she said come in and I did. She stated my nail is what cracked the sns, which is strange because I've got sns with my nail being weak and it never cracked. So then she fixes it and when she did it was good and strong and thick. So now I went during the week and started seeing my other nails cracking and same thing was happening. So I called back to come and I went in October 12 and told Myra I would like a refund for the nails cause I don't have time to keep coming back every time and fixing my nails. Told her I'm not paying to fix them. Myra didn't want to give me a full refund because it's Ben two weeks. She started being rude. Like it's not my fault the nails is cracking. I advise anyone doing sns don't take the chance cause clearly Myra said I'm the only one complaining and how every customer never complains. How they do three coatings of sns. Never will I ever go back, lost money with them and sns nails is terrible of the way they do them. Never will get back my money again. read more

I'm soooo Happy I Found my Favorite Pedicure Lady, Berta. She use to work at another salon with the Asians, Everyone would request her for their Pedicures, she's really that good. The OWNER use to work at the other salon as well. I'm glad these ladies now have their Own Salon.. Found my new spot. I'm so happy!!!! read more
