One of my favorite spots for an omelette! They have a good breakfast menu and I have been searching for the best key lime pie in this area for years.... well search no more! Made from scratch key lime custard pie and it is phenomenal! read more

We had the meatloaf lunch special and it was delicious portions were plentiful and the price was very good and our waitress Olivia was absolutely awesome! Definitely recommend this place for lunch if you're looking for quality food with very courteous servers. read more

This is my favorite restaurant in Cornelius. The shrimp and grits is one of the best I've ever had. I always get the salmon wrap though with a side of kale salad. It's simply amazing! read more

I love, love, love Fresh Chef! The food is always delicious. Service is outstanding. Lasagna is the best I've ever had. Highly recommend.

The BEST restaurant ever! The food is amazing, the restaurant is spotless, and the staff is awesome!

Always yummy fresh food. The wraps at lunch are one of my favorites. I don't even like blue cheese but love it in my wrap. The ribs, Cajun Pasta, and don't forget the Kale Salad. This is hands down one of my absolute favorite places to eat. read more

I've been wanting to try Fresh Chef for some time now. It did not disappoint! I ordered the blackened chicken salad with garlic ranch dressing. It was fresh, delicious and HUGE. I mean, it was DELICIOUS! I also ordered a classic crispy taco (beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sc). So so good too. My SIL ordered jerk chicken tacos. She said they were very very tasty ! Key Lime Pie and Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. Again FRESH and DELICIOUS !! Our server, Olivia was EXCELLENT as well! We can't wait to go back !! read more

Fresh Chef has been our go to for celebrations and more for years. We celebrated Meg's 16th there oh so many years ago and have been regulars ever since. Food is fresh and delicious. Service is quick and kind. And what Beats 1/2 price bottle of wine night? read more

My husband and I tried the place again. He did not care for it the food the first time. He did not like his meal selection.. He willingly gave it a 2nd try at my request. He was happy with the meal as was I This time! However, we ordered an appetizer and it never came even after we got our meal! We sat at the bar and the bartender provided little attention and did not apologize about the appetizer. The bar was not full but she clearly catered to her usual customers. It seemed she did not care to get new ones. Do not think we will go back! Management should be noticing this kind of issue & encouraging employees to provide excellent service!! There are too many other options!! read more

Amazing food! We ate dinner there last night and we all loved our dinner. Nice variety also! We usually eat at the Cornelius restaurant and couldn't wait for this one to open closer to us. This will defining be our go to place! read more

Food was ok..the chicken was over cooked. Husband had pasta that was good. At a previous visit I had a burger that was really good. The lower star rating is because they recently have added a fee onto your bill for paying with a card. Just be aware, they didn't let us know that ahead of time and we actually had already planned to pay with cash and had to request that it be removed. We have eaten at so many places and have never seen a charge added for paying with a card. A minimum purchase yes but never a charge. My father in law has a restaurant and maybe it's changed since he researched, but it was illegal to do that before. read more

We really enjoyed eating here. Spinach Artichoke appetizer, Black & Blue Salads, Hawaiian Chicken salad were all fresh and delicious. We tried the strawberry shortcake & brownie ice cream desserts and liked the brownie best. Service was cheerful & helpful. There was a little hiccup, in service but they made up for it, without us asking. I also found them to be accommodating. I like eating in a booth versus a table, & there were many booths. Full bar & decent wine list. We'll definitely be back! read more

DELICIOUS it's so fresh and healthy and if you go here i would recommend the pasta it is amazing

I am a big fan of Fresh Chef! Especially of their kale salad with grilled salmon. What I'm not a big fan of is the last two times I've dined outside, neither manager was wearing a mask. Very disappointed. read more

Tried the Fresh Chef Kitchen in Denver for first time last evening and gotta say, we will be back. I was with a party of five, we all were able to see many items on the menu that we'd like to try, our service was GREAT, and we were all happy with the food. I tried the kale salad and really found I enjoyed it, and ordered the cheeseburger and fries (to me, this is the acid test - cheeseburgers are my fave) and have not one complaint. The food is plentiful, I had a taste of my husband's clam chowder and it was great. So happy to have this place nearby. read more

Great food & service. I love the fresh food and as someone who likes to try new things, I would definitely recommend this place. Great addition to the Denver restaurants! read more

Really good food. Large portions. Our group had the meatloaf, grilled chicken salad, and salmon. The desserts were yummy as well! Pecan pie! Yum read more

This place is fantastic! The food is hot when it's brought to the table. The presentation of the food is gorgeous (I do pay attention to things like that, lol). We had several wait staff attending to us and the manager stopped by to check on us as well. Ribeye was cooked perfectly, the shrimp was seasoned just right and the spinach artichoke dip was so creamy. Its super clean and I loved the decor. Great customer service and food. Will definitely be back. read more

New restaurant so it has some typical new restaurant kinks to work out but our meals were good as was the service and price. We really like the concept of fresh food/no freezers and the menu is definitely thought out to showcase the freshness. Keep up the good work and change the menu around periodically to keep it fresh too! read more

Delicious food, as in nothing that isn't amazing on the menu. Friendly managers and staff.

Omg...or should I say mon dieu!!!! Visited from Quebec Canada....the freshness, the presentation, the staff attention and managers attention to our visit...was exceptional! There are a lot of good restaurants....but I would make this a guaranteed stop....in Quebec, food is exceptional....to find this quality in Denver NC was very surprising. Definitely check it out! The Amazing thing about this restaurant is that it is within 300 yards of another more "popular" place, and still provides spectacular service, phenomenal food and none of the ridiculous wait times the other place has. The food is better, the service is certainly better and management is working hard to maintain all the cleanliness and distancing required in these times. If you're in Denver and haven't tried Fresh Chef, you're in for a treat. It is as advertised. Fresh and delicious. Good wine selection and killer deserts. Do yourself a favor. Try it. read more

Recently had lunch at new location and food was exquisite. The salmon was perfectly grilled and tasted really fresh. Anxious to get back there for dinner because the cocktail menu looks amazing! Really happy to have this option in Denver, NC. read more

I didn't think the food was worth all the hype. The service was okay but the waitress and waiter/bartender seemed stress. So yeah it's a no for me. I'll give two stars because the employees were nice! read more

Best blackened Caesar salad ever. My daughter loves the filet steak wrap. The one downside is their parking! Not many spaces... unless you park far and walk. read more

Yesterday was my first time visiting Fresh Chef in Denver I was very impressed. I love the curb side pick up - it's very convenient. The service was excellent. And the food is just as good as the Cornelius location. And the way the package the food to go is excellent. The food tastes very fresh when you get it home! Love the salads here. read more

Great and truly fresh food, good prices. We had a grilled salmon salad, blackened chicken with rice, and an order of chips and guacamole. All home made, including the dressing (herbed vinegarette.) the salmon was perfectly done and while the chicken was a bit dry, it was still very good. The lettuce was crisp and fresh also. It's so refreshing to have a restaurant that serves good food that's not frozen or canned and not junk food! read more

Sadly, I think they are becoming a victim of COVID. I really wanted them to succeed, and they were VERY good last year when they opened. Now the food is not as good, and they are doing all the wrong things at a time COVID cases are skyrocketing in the area. A few weeks ago when we were there, tables were appropriately spaced and staff were wearing masks. Tonight, tables back to normal spacing and our waitress was maskless because of "tactile issues" (something, fortunately, doctors and nurses cannot have). Whatever the issue, at this point in Denver with increasing case rates, if you can't wear a mask, you shouldn't be directly serving customers. 40% of those with COVID do not have symptoms. This is not a time to be maskless and in close contact with others. Back in late June, Fresh Chef staff also weren't wearing masks until forced to by the governor's decree. This is clearly management direction, not a one-off. read more
