We consistently have a good experience with Miami Fusion - still loving their empanadas, cafe bon bon, and the guava pastelitos never disappoint!

The first thing that stands out about this place is the friendliness of the staff. They say hello and smile the instant you enter. With today's fast-pace rat-race vibe for most people, this was refreshing. The atmosphere is also authentic. It's Miami Cuban themed. Despite this restaurant being small, it feels homey. As far as the food goes, the Chicken-Steak was exceptional. The white rice was just rice. Flavored rice would have been more satisfying. Maybe I ordered incorrectly on that. The tostada also didn't do much for me but I like that poppin' taste of a good bagel when it comes to bread products. Don't get the wrong idea, though. It was very easy to tell that their main dishes has tons of taste where the flavor pops! Focus on that, not bread and white rice. Also, they're going to be adding a bar here. A bar to go along with the restaurant during the day. And good music. Interesting and unique. Highly recommended.

I keep hearing how great the food is here and I was finally able to try it myself! When we walked in, we were greeted quickly and seated. I decided to order the guava juice and it was so good! I also ordered a chicken empanada and that was also good. For my meal, my mom and I decided to split the Cuban chop chop which is a huge bowl that has rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, pork slices, and a yummy sauce. They were kind enough to split it for us and put it in two different bowls to make it easier to share. Even though this place is a little pricey, the food is definitely worth a try!

Delicious food cooked to order. Great service fast and friendly. A very fun chill vibe with the Miami decor and cuban music. Located in a small strip mall in Denver NC near Lake Norman. Our family loves this restaurant! Great prices for such delicious made to order meals. We love the breakfast!! They even have a full bar. Gourmet coffee and pastries

Okay, so we've been here three times in the past 8 days; that should say enough! The food is the pest Cuban food we've had since Little Havana in Miami! Below is a link to my review on Google! You do not want to miss the awesome gem of a restaurant!!! https://maps.app.goo.gl/RZCFg2VQ2gte8x82A?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy

Sealed DoorDash delivery
Neema B.

Needed a quick bite delivered during the workday and saw this Cuban cafe on DoorDash with amazing reviews. I decided to try the Cuban sandwich and the beef empanadas since they seemed to be very popular. When the dasher dropped off my order, I was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant had sealed the plastic bag handles with a label for safety. I appreciate that, because sadly we live in a time where sometimes the thought crosses your mind that the person transporting your food may have tampered with it for whatever reason. Not only did they seal the carry bag, but both paper bags inside that contained my order were stapled closed too. The food was hot and just as good as the other reviews suggested. The empanada was very flavorful and the Cuban was not only delicious, but the meat was very tender. The portion is also pretty healthy. I will have to venture out to Denver to visit the restaurant myself and try some other things, but I'm definitely pleased by my DoorDash experience.

Overall, the atmosphere was lovely, the waitress was friendly and the food was good. Was it the most amazing Cuban food we've had? Absolutely not. The pork appetizer, Masitas de Cerdo, we had was the highlight. It was delicious. We were hoping it was a sign of good things to come. Unfortunately, the Vaca Frita my husband had he didn't like at all. There was a flavor to it that was almost like Cuban mixed with barbecue. I had the Mojito Chicken and it was good. Not amazing, but good flavor. My husband had some of my chicken because he thought the Vaca Frita was inedible. Now, I don't think it was that bad. However, his mom is Cuban so we have authentic Cuban food regularly, and none of these dishes tasted authentic. Expectations are everything, and had this been Cuban-Something fusion, maybe the outcome would be different. Having been to many excellent Cuban restaurants at home and while traveling, this one just didn't rank near the top. But the people next to us, with their bacon-wrapped dates and ceviche, loved this place, so maybe it was just us

John greeted us and seated us at a table of our choice. We had lots of time so we ordered drinks, (just seltzers and water since we had a 3-hour play in front of us), and two of us ordered cuban espresso. drinks and espressos came out and we sent John back with his suggestions for two appetizers for the table; The Key West Tostones and the Tropical Sampler. Gotta add that I have been a coffee guy for decades and a coffee nerd since 2017 and this espresso, (sweetened), was the best coffee I have ever had. Smooth, flavorful, not overly strong but balanced to perfection. Came out hot and the press was perfect, no grounds or grit. Wow! Our appetizers were bangin all the way. We all, (5 of us), tucked in and there was not one thing we all didn't love. We ordered Hemmingway Chicken, (split for 2), Ropa Vieja, Cuban Sandwich and Vaca Frita de Lechon. All entrees and sides including the Moros were perfect. Finished with Traditional Flan and Coconut Flan and 4 espressos, (our tea drinking friend didn't understand our zeal). Flan's were literally some of the best I've ever had. Let me finish by saying I am a culinary-trained chef who's opened restaurants and have over 50 years of experience in the kitchen. This was such a surprise to find in Salisbury. Not throwing rocks at Salisbury. It just was a last-minute "Hey, what's in the neighborhood when I go to this theater." It turned out to be such a surprise. John was excellent at every level. Drinks were constantly full, and he was constantly asking us if we had any questions. He was fully able to unpack the menu and explain the cooking process. He explained that when he started, he was a food runner and worked his way up to the back of the bar, so he understood how the drinks were made. Candidly, completely impressed. They are only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday currently, so I would make reservations and make this a must-get-there-quickly.

I ordered a virgin mojito, my husband had a Spanish beer, and both were yummy! The mojito was the prettiest one I've ever seen. For dinner, we had a Cuban Special sandwich and chicken Milanese. The portions are enormous, and even though we were very hungry we still couldn't finish it all. But we left room for an original flan and a cortadito (little espresso with milk and sugar). The flan was as good as my SIL's, which is amazing. The coffee was yum! Highly recommend for the vibe, food, and service.
