This "company" does not respond to phone calls (called three times). I then visited their office (June 27), walked in, and nobody was there.

Carlos and Jose arrived, right on time, and went to work. They put down plastic covering to protect my floors, of course it was raining that day! This was NO problem for them! They were friendly, yet VERY professional. They worked the entire time, no break. This took about 2 hour to complete. They had me check the attic!! Nobody ever asks me to inspect their work!! Wow! Well it looked very good! I was very pleased! There was no mess left at my house! I HIGHLY recommend this company!!

We called Insulation Commandos and were able to schedule an estimate for the very next day. Other providers that we called didn't even pick up the phone or said they would return our call and ghosted us. Simon, the owner, came out to do the estimate for us. He was on time and texted us beforehand. He is very knowledgeable about insulation and was able to explain things in a way that made it easy to understand! He walked us through a few different options at different price points and didn't put any pressure on us. The best part is, we were able to schedule the project for the same week! The day of the project, Simon texted us again to let us know they were on their way. This time, he even included a picture of the truck so we knew what to expect. He and his crew were extremely efficient, professional, and courteous. They were done in a single day and cleaned up after themselves! We highly recommend Insulation Commandos and will definitely be using them again to upgrade the insulation in our attic.

A couple of their workers (Lupe and Georkis) were the best. They were hard workers and kept us informed as to what was going on. I had a leak that was coming from the ceiling of a downstairs closet. I thought it might be a complicated leak from the second floor bathroom - I was so happy to see when the closet ceiling was removed that the leak came literally from a part directly on top of the closet ceiling (so water hadn't been traveling all around the second floor). It was a simple situation. These guys jacked my bill up to over $5000, which forced me to go through homeowner's insurance. I got it brought down to just over $4000 after complaining. ...also note, they will not give an estimate in advance. They never gave me one throughout the time they were here and they never gave one to my friend in Providence Downs neighborhood. They just wouldn't give her a dollar figure and, in her case, she wasn't dealing with an active leak, so she chose to not work with Sunshine and instead chose a company that would give her an estimate. After what happened with me, it's obvious that they avoid giving a dollar amount so that they can start the work and then inflate the cost once they're already working. ...lastly, they charge by the hour - something I hadn't realized as I would see them arrive and park at my house and take forever to get out of their truck. They even went to my neighbor's house to inspect something for her when she saw their truck and came over to ask them about something at her house. Yes, I'd thought it was odd that every time they came they just sat in their truck for so long but it never occurred to me that they were killing time and that I was paying for it.

You stated that you would go and inspect my premises and give me an actual quote by the end of that first week. The end of the week came and went as did the following week. I called to check on the progress And was told once again by you that you would get out the following week to inspect what work needed to be done. Here at the beginning of the fifth week I have still not heard back. TERRIBLE service. I understand that things might take longer because of the current COVID-19 pandemic and businesses being busy but to have not heard back in three weeks is unacceptable. Sorry to say that your service is no longer needed and I will look elsewhere to find, what I am sure will be, a more reliable company.

The project was completed about 4 years ago and was never corrected to my satisfaction. The gutters would never drain correctly leaving standing water which eventually started to leak in unsealed corners decaying the soffit wood which had been replaced prior to this project. There were also a multitude of excessive screws used to attach the gutters to the soffit which were also not sealed and became problem areas leaking into the exposed soffit wood which now needs replacing. Both of these projects will have to be revisited at my expense due to the lack of quality control by the P & P representatives.
