I thought it might be a complicated leak from the second floor bathroom - I was so happy to see when the closet ceiling was removed that the leak came literally from a part directly on top of the closet ceiling (so water hadn't been traveling all around the second floor). It was a simple situation. These guys jacked my bill up to over $5000, which forced me to go through homeowner's insurance. I got it brought down to just over $4000 after complaining. ...also note, they will not give an estimate in advance. They never gave me one throughout the time they were here and they never gave one to my friend in Providence Downs neighborhood. They just wouldn't give her a dollar figure and, in her case, she wasn't dealing with an active leak, so she chose to not work with Sunshine and instead chose a company that would give her an estimate. After what happened with me, it's obvious that they avoid giving a dollar amount so that they can start the work and then inflate the cost once they're already working. ...lastly, they charge by the hour - something I hadn't realized as I would see them arrive and park at my house and take forever to get out of their truck. They even went to my neighbor's house to inspect something for her when she saw their truck and came over to ask them about something at her house. Yes, I'd thought it was odd that every time they came they just sat in their truck for so long but it never occurred to me that they were killing time and that I was paying for it.

The gutters on one of my rental properties has been needing repair work for some time. Between a contractor that ran his truck into one of the downspouts and the constant clogging of the open air gutters that have accumulated so much debris that long branches of plant growth had taken form in many parts of the roofline gutters. I was in a bit of a bind in trying to secure good quality work in short order, knowing that there would be upcoming rain, pests that take advantage of clogged drainage, and someone that was well versed and expedient in the trade. Texted me again when they were in their way. Showed up gave me a reasonable $$. When I asked when they could actually do the work, he said right now. Within an hour or so, work was done and our gutters were cleaned. We will definitely call them again.
