These guys have been a really good find for us. We got three different quotes and recommendations for a replacement 5 ton unit, and Honest Air Care's knowledge, transparency, flexibility, and price once again caused us to choose them. They offered several different models we could choose from, spanning the spectrum of discount and premium traditional heatpumps as well as newer inverter models (one of which we ultimately selected) with a couple different price/efficiency points. They were really the only one to do that, the others seemed to have their old school model and brand they liked and wanted to stick with it (which is entirely reasonable, but not what we wanted). They also communicated pretty well, answering an emailed question and responding on the phone. They replaced our rooftop unit, redid the connector and roof integration to account for changes in form factor, and added three new vents into our bedrooms to account for the additional air flow required (and improve night time cooling effectiveness), all in one day. They cleaned everything up nice and repaired any damage they'd caused. Really a top notch operation.

We got a new Lennox 4 years ago from this company. The coils leaked the refrigerant and we asked…read morefor a repair. They quoted us $2600 for the repair which required a total replacement of the coils and the refrigerant and they tried to include a 5 year maintenance policy for an additional $1,000. It is 105° and my husband is 79 and has breathing, heart and kidney problems so we accepted the repair. As seniors we get a lot of bad advice. But he trusted this company to give him a fair price. It wasn't. It was at least $800 more than the other reputable companies charge. They spent an hour fixing the unit. They had asked for payment in full in advance before they would schedule the repair. RED FLAG. I have asked for an explanation and itemized receipt multiple times and have been getting texts saying that they wanted to speak with me to explain the costs and promising to give me an itemized receipt AFTER we talk. Don't hire this company unless you have compared their quotes with reputable companies. Update. This review mostly concerned customer service and the poor communication from Champion. The repair cost may have been justified. But the lack of response to my requests for information was not acceptable. The repair was successful and the house is cool. Dave F (the owner?) has responded with an explanation of what was done. The unit was serviced 2 years ago. Perhaps we could have caught the problem sooner but it was still a problem with a unit barely 4 years old and the result would have been the same - replace the coils. If this leak was a slow leak it should have been detected. But no leak was detected. They are blaming this repair on deferred or no maintenance. All they had to do was call me to explain. But what I got were AI text responses telling me to call them. I made numerous requests for an updated and detailed invoice. I emailed and texted several times. My husband called them and asked. All they had to do was send me the invoice or email me this explanation. I'd have gone away and accepted that I should've known better. Responding AFTER I made a review on YELP shows exactly what I was complaining about. I suggest getting additional quotes and I'll stick by that suggestion. And I would suggest buying another unit rather than Lennox. We never had this problem with the York GasPac that we had for over 20 years. BTW I still have not received the detailed invoice/receipt. I will also contact Lennox to request that they look into this problem with their unit.
