Three hour layover in Atlanta, GA and my plane just got delayed another hour. I noticed a pattern - every time I fly to Atlanta I have no delays, however, flying from Atlanta there is always a delay (s). Yes I deserve a treat! Then I see a Freshens, which they used to have in the Austin airport. I purchased a strawberry frozen yogurt with mangos, pineapples and peaches. The server told me that the mangos were frozen and to pick another fruit. So I decided to get double peaches. When I began eating my frozen yogurt and I noticed that my peaches were frozen also. Apparently, frozen fruit are good for smoothies. I would think that they would have frozen fruits for smoothies and fresh fruits for for toppings. My mom and I came here during a layover. We were looking for something fast and filling. There are so many options here! I see this place that sells crepes and knew instantly that's what I wanted! I chose the chicken bacon crepe. Then my mom decided to follow suit in getting a crepe from here but a chipotle chicken one instead. They made it instantly. Freshens Atlanta Airport Concourse E is the worst service I have received in decades. Repeated what I wanted twice to the cashier. No saying it back for validation. Did not receive a receipt. Received the wrong crepe. Took it back politely. Cook yelled at me repeatedly that I had ordered the wrong thing. Not even the whisper of, "Maybe we rang it up wrong." I tried freshens at concourse D on Saturday afternoon. I tried their Thai chicken rice bowl. The employees who were working there were completely distracted and I had to call them a few times before I got their attention. One of them carelessly took my order and the other one unwillingly got up from her chair and started preparing the rice bowl. Everything in the rice bowl tasted salty and the rice was undercooked. I was at the Atlanta airport waiting for my flight home to Indy and needed some breakfast, I did see Freshens which is a smoothie yogurt place that came close to breakfast, so I went ahead and stopped here for breakfast. The menu consisted of smoothies, yogurt, and crepes. I went ahead and decided to get the super Fuel smoothie which contained a blend of apples, strawberries, banana, carrot, and alpha omega nutrients for boost. I also decided to get the egg white Florentine crepe for breakfast. The cashier told me they ran out of eggs whites, and asked me if I wanted regular eggs instead, and I told her that was fine. The cashier then proceeded to tell me they did not have the alpha omega boost for the smoothie and asked me if I wanted to substitute pommengrade, yogurt, or something else for it, and I said I would do the prommengrade. The staff were very nice and helpful, and showed excellent customer service the entire time. It took a few minutes for my order, but my smoothie and crepe were ready in a decent amount of time. I said thank you and they wished me a nice day. The smoothie tasted excellent, but could not drink it too fast because it did give me a brain freeze like when you get when you eat ice cream too fast. I had to drink water right after it, and then it went away. This is my advice to anyone if you get a smoothie from here, pace yourself when sipping and do not drink it too fast. The smoothie was very flavorful and I could taste all the ingredients including the pommengrade. It was delicious and I enjoyed it very much. The crepe was outstanding! It was very fresh and tasted incredible! The eggs were cooked perfectly and the spinach and cheese complimented the eggs perfectly! The texture of the crepe was immaculate. It was the perfect breakfast for me! Freshens is a wonderful place for smoothies and crepes. It can be expensive depending on what you purchase, so if you are looking for something that is inexpensive, I would not come here unless you just want a smoothie, or just a crepe. It is worth the price you pay though and I would come back here if I am passing through Atlanta again. It is the perfect breakfast place! read more

I got a green smoothie here while passing through the Atlanta airport, and it was pretty good! The price was $11, but it was HUGE! It was super sweet from the frozen mango and pineapple, but with the greens it hit the spot. The line was short and my smoothie was ready in minutes. I have a 3 hour layover here at Atlanta Airport and decided to grab something to eat. When I first approached the counter to place an order, the woman working there was extremely rude and told me, "We're not taking orders, we're doing a shift change." I calmly asked how long it would take, and she said 30 minutes. I returned 45 minutes later, around 8 PM, and saw two employees standing around chatting. When I approached the counter again, the same woman told me again, "We're not taking orders, we're doing a shift change," with the same dismissive tone. I reminded her that she had asked me to come back in 30 minutes and that it had now been 45. She then responded, with clear attitude, that it would be another 30 to 45 minutes. As someone who has worked in customer service for over 16 years, I'm honestly appalled. No shift change should take over an hour and a half and possibly even longer since I'm not going to attempt a third visit. It's disappointing that people with this attitude are representing the business. I'll be taking my time and money elsewhere. read more

I was excited that there was finally an offering that had a lot of veggies in an airport! Gee, that excitement, it turns out, was highly misplaced and my high bar was immediately lowered down. I got the Thai Chicken bowl. Hot rice on the bottom, some very small amount of diced chicken, some cabbage and carrots and maybe something else, but this was not memorable. All in a basic teriyaki like sauce. A little imagination and this could be a lot better...how about some sliced green onions, maybe some sesame seeds? Freshens can be found in many different terminals throughout the airport, but no matter which one I stop at, I've had a relatively poor experience. They serve smoothies, crepes and rice bowls, which seems like something that you could order and receive relatively quickly to catch your flight. My word of advice: don't come to Freshens if you are in a rush! You may just miss your flight! During my first visit to Freshens, I just wanted to get a quick crepe and head to my flight. I will admit, there was definitely a steady stream of people coming and ordering smoothies while I was waiting for my crepe, and the smoothies were coming out efficiently. The crepes on the other hand took forever, and I waited nearly 30 min for my mediocre crepe. I ordered the crepe and the employees had a "deer in the headlights look", they definitely didn't make a ton of crepes and were unfamiliar with what to do. Their first attempt was a bit of a flop, they added too much stuff on the inside and they eventually trashed it. At least they didn't serve me that one. Their second attempt was acceptable, but in the end I got a below par crepe that felt like pizza that took 30 minutes. I learned from my mistake and on a second visit, I only ordered a smoothie. On this instance, it was a different Freshens in a different terminal. The customer service was really bad, I was standing at the front of the line waiting for the employee to finish their personal conversation so I could place my order. I got the acai smoothie, which was actually decent, but again, had to wait a while. At least I wasn't the poor soul who ordered the crepe. Again, they had no idea how to make them! I started to get a sense that they don't actually train people there on the entire menu and the employees just wing it. Either way, it doesn't make for a good experience. read more

Filling with chicken, basil and tomatoes were fresh and yummy. Make sure you get a napkin for juices with start dripping onto the wrapper. So we stopped by here twice. First time crepes were crispy and cooked thoroughly. Second time because there were so many people waiting and only one person making the Crepes as well as rushing to get them out to everyone that ordered it was not as crisp.
