I ordered 2 combos from this location off uber and only received 1! I checked with uber delivery person and he told me he tried to tell them it was more than one thing and they told him it was only 1 combo. So idk if one of the employees wanted to keep my second combo and steal it. Why would yall not make sure I received both my orders that I paid for especially after the uber delivery person tried to confirm there was more?? I had to dispute through uber and then had to find more food to eat after that. This shows lack of attention to details smh read more

Tonight, I ordered the wing dinner with a side of greens that was PIPING HOT. The lid was not placed on all the way...juiced leaked...BURNING the front of my legs. I go inside to ask for napkins...explained what happened...no apology and they act like they didn't want to give me the napkins. to clean myself or cat seat. Going to the emergency room to see what kind of burns I have on my legs. Mos'def my last time at this location. Law suit material! read more

This experience the drive through guy had an attitude, and didn't give the best customer service. Received my food ordered a 2 piece combo and didn't receive ketchup? How do you eat chicken dry with no sauces lol? When I asked it seemed like it was a bother that I was asking for sauce with a MEAL? I remember going to the original Frenchys bear U of H. I was very happy to see one on victory and I pass up that street regularly. I had no idea they were there. Food: very good fried chicken! Mashed potatoes are good as well. They give you a pepper that tastes so good. I really enjoyed my meal. If you have never been to frenchys and are from Houston or visiting Houston this is a must stop. This business has been in our city since the 60s. Great food and great prices! Everything is made fresh. Support local businesses! Value: the prices are much better than Popeyes. You can get 3pc with side biscuit and drink for 7.99. That's a great deal! This manager/cook was rude. First I spent 17.00 to have fish given to me and when I asked for tarter sauce he told me" I have you my last one". When I looked at my order I asked him why the tarter was already open and used! Second issue- mashed potatoes where horrible- the gravy (manager added lots of water) so potatoes had brown runny water when also diluted the potatoes. This was just down right nasty! read more

The food is good and as nice as the staff was they still screwed up a very simple order which was on their menu a family meal all dark meat and it's still came as a mixed box. Everybody was looking forward to a great meal but I'm not willing to drive 20 minutes back to the location to try and fix this in 5 o'clock traffic. Oh well I guess you just can't trust anybody anymore, The crazy thing is is the cashier actually repeated the all dark order to me, I hope to be able to improve this review in the future read more

Apparent personnel issues? Staff short? People not showing for their shift? The front door was locked so could not go inside to order...drive thru only. Inside did not appear well lit as I peered through the locked front door...and I could only make out two workers which included the worker at the drive thru window. On a previous jaunt to this establishment, the girl at the drive thru window told me she was working overtime because someone didn't show for their shift. The chicken and fish is (usually) good...but if they don't get some personnel issues straightened out it's gonna eventually kill business. The food was good, but when my order is short by ONE whole piece of chicken(thigh), after I had waited in the drive-thru for thirty minutes because I wanted to support a black owned business, a three star, or higher, isn't earned. This location needs more workers and the cook needs to double check the accuracy of the amount of chicken a person orders and pays for. I called the restaurant several times, but their phone always just rang or went directly to voicemail. I wont be visiting this location ever again. read more

The location is new it's nice it's clean it's up to date but you're clearly coming here for the good food not the customer service

After moving closer to this location, I had to try it! I normally head down to Scott Street to grab my favorite meal but I'm so happy that I decided to visit here. Upon entering, the place was spotless and everyone was so friendly. Martin and Priscilla, I think they are both managers, were wonderful and I'm convinced that the chicken wings here are better than the Scott Street store. I'm so happy that Frenchy's is in my neighborhood and will be visiting often! read more

You can only go through drive-thru they lock their front door, every time I go it's only 4 cars ahead of me and I wait over 30 minutes this is crazy.. Who owns this location, clearly they don't care about customer service!!! read more

The food is good! Love it every time. However, they NEVER have the full menu. They're always out of something. No matter how early/late we come. Not sure if they're running out or just not wanting to cook more when out. We keep wanting to experience the full menu but are always having to either leave because what we want is not available or just getting something we weren't really wanting for lack of availability. So sad, will probably try a different location next time! read more
