Ms Sheila who is the manager executed poor manage when dealing with 3 cars in drive thru early morning around 6am. Exactly 28 minutes to move 2 cars in drive instead of securing order and moving cars up like other whataburger's with Good Management does. Employees were dancing on front counter. Alleged card issue but passenger gets out and make small talk with employees laughing while Ms Sheila who ever wore the blue shirt casually walking and talking to the dancing employee on front counter. The results was I had cash even 14 I know my meal was ready to go which I could not do because I had to wait on horseplay finish before I can move up. Tried to enter inside which the doors was lock. Don't know if thats the police for that particular establishment. But this customer service is unacceptable for a fast food unless horseplay and taking your time here is policy then disregard this review. I've work drive thru before at 2 different fast food back in the day and each one was big on drive thru service times. Maybe y'all need to do more training or learn from other chains on how to conduct proper drive thru services. Need more employees for night shift mornings and a manager who knows how to move customers along. According to other reviews the night team is not cutting and if one star or no star the Regional Manager is comfortable with them he's needs to drop down and go back to being a server. Wonderful customer service and satisfaction! Food is always hot and fresh. Cashiers are always pleasant and very courteous, busy most of the time but sufficient in service. Its on an adjacent parking lot with other stores and businesses, which allows plenty of parking space. For the most part, outside area is clean from debris but could stand some cleaning and power washing. Free of lottering, and safe environment. Great place for a burger! I ordered the Whataburger double w/ cheese, bacon, and jalapeños. The burger was fresh and made to order. Onion rings hot and crisp. Disaster!! I heard about the new Salted Caramel Shake and decided to try one while I was running some errands. I pulled up to this Whataburger and there were 12 to 15 cars in the drive through line. Just based on that I should have left, but I went inside. I asked the young lady at the register for a medium shake to go and she told me the price for a large. I said no, a medium. She said that is a medium. I read the description (size) on the register and said, not thats a large to which she repeated no, thats a medium. Seeing a pattern here I asked for a manager who came over and told her no, thats a large. After a couple minutes of register manipulation my order was rung up correctly. After about 5 minutes of standing by the counter I realized there was no mechanism in this establishment to get my shake made. After 2 more minutes the young lady behind the register said she would make it and pilled out a cup. Problem was she had a line of customers. After a couple more minutes I asked for my money back which, of course required the manager again. After about 15 minutes in total I left without my shake, but do not despair....Burger King 100 yards further down the road also had Salted Caramel Shakes, understood their sizing and got it to me in about 3 minutes. The funny thing is the Whataburger had twice the number of employees as your average functional Whataburger. Obviously they were trying to solve ALL there problems by throwing people at them which obviously made it worse as half didn't seem to be doing anything at all...........especially not making my shake....... read more
