This restaurant is by the French King Bridge, named after the rock that French troops used as a landmark. Breakfast and lunch is available on Sundays. Dinner on Friday and Saturday.

We found this motel on accident when our camping reservations fell through and couldn't have been happier! The staff were friendly and accommodating despite the late hours and even allowed us to order drinks at the end of their shift, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome after a long day of traveling. We found the pool was a delightful touch, the pancakes were incredible, and the walking trail behind the motel was a scenic and lovely way to walk off breakfast. Thanks again for all the hospitality and great food!

The Hearty Platter with a Jimbo delicious pancake. That I had to take home!

A great Mothers Day breakfast. It was busy but just relaxing & celebrating a day off from cooking was wonderful. Thank you for the first time great experience to many more.

What wonderful food! The pancakes are large and sweet with real maple syrup. My FAVORITE fluffy pancakes anywhere. My hiking partner went with the eggs Benedict with a side of large English muffins and home fries extra seasoned extra crispy. It is a very spacious room, and the seats are very comfortable and you feel like you're not crowded at any point in time. The banquet room that is available was not being used, but it would afford a whole separate large area, (with piano?), In the bar area was not being used as well. They are currently not doing dinner, but only breakfast and lunch. One thing I really found interesting, was that they were repurposing coffee mugs and you never know which one you might get. I did enjoy calling my friend Katie for much of breakfast. The cost for breakfast was definitely reasonable, and I would see myself coming here again can you try the stuffed French toast, Or just for the pancakes. They did not have any breakfast specials, and it did not look like they had a lot of gluten-free options.

What a nice place to have dinner! You'll know your in New England when you walk in the dining room with it's warm colors, large fire place and big windows. I had the pleasure of meeting Sharon and her husband and can tell that the two of them care about their business and the customers that dine there. I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli, spinach and mushrooms that came with a side dish. I selected the sauteed mushrooms which were sauteed with lots of garlic and a hint of sherry. It was wonderful, a rich Alfredo sauce and perfectly cooked pasta. My Fiance had the Yankee Pot Roast which he said was excellent. It was three large slices of pot roast and a nice serving of rice pilaf. The prices were very reasonable and they do offer a $12.99 special on Sundays which includes entree, two sides and dessert. I look forward to dining there again soon and highly recommend it.

I am so disappointed. Two months since our last visit and the menu has been drastically reduced…read morewith the vegetarian options completely wiped off the menu (see image of the current menu below). Not a great place for vegans anymore, but I will give them credit for making adjustments to swap out meat for a goat cheese croquette. All the other vegetarian plates we enjoyed in December is no longer offered. There are a couple of sandwiches (both prepared with ham), but the menu does not explain that they are sandwiches. The food we had was good quality except for the Niçoise salad dressing, which had the overly sweet taste of bottled dressing. The Le Bistro Burger, I am told, had a lovely charbroiled flavor; combining it with the goat cheese croquette, chili-fig jam, and caramelized onions made it a delicious choice for one of my companions. The Salad Bavette was enormous and my companion who ordered it had to take the rest home (it filled the container!). The appetizer goat cheese croquette used to come with a small bed of arugula, but this time it did not. The last time, we couldn't get through the door and had to wait an hour for a table. Now, lunchtime on a gorgeous Saturday and there are only two other tables occupied. My initial disappointment aside, our server was very kind, empathetic, professional, and helpful. The ambience is still the same, which is pleasant. Special thanks again to our lovely server.
