The restaurant was not especially busy--there were a few occupied tables, but certainly not enough to justify waiting over an hour for a salad and two appetizers. That kind of delay simply should not happen. What made the experience worse was the staff's response when we raised the issue. Rather than showing any concern, the attitude came across as dismissive and indifferent, as if our frustration was an inconvenience. Nothing unusual or extraordinary, or healthy, on the menu but I was happy with my breakfast burrito. The motel smelled musty, had stains on the bathroom sink and counter, but mostly it was the VERY large spiders in webs around the room. It freaked out my daughter and really put a damper on things. How hard is it to put a dust rag over a broom and sweep the corners of the room? It would take 2 minutes and result in a much better tip!
