Nice little place in the downtown area. The latte was good. The basic muffin sandwich was amazing!

Part of the dining / coffee sipping area. This was mid afternoon during a lull.

Mocha Maya's is such a special place - it's not just a coffee shop, it's a community gathering place. I recently stopped there for a light lunch and was greeted by the lovely barista Mahalia. I opted for a decadent hot chocolate and a Mediterranean wrap - both - YUM! Mahalia acts as an ambassador for the town and shared interesting information about the area. The chef popped out with my lunch which was delivered with a smile and fun flourish. I hope to be coming back to Mocha Maya's again soon and often. I was intrigued to see the upcoming music project and that they have various live events like story telling and poetry. Highly recommend! Don't miss it if you're in town for the beautiful scenery. Shelburne Falls may be the best day trip in 413. Unique Stars Hollow / hippy / happy / country vibe. Very welcoming! Great hot beverages and eats at Mocha Maya's!

Small cozy coffee shop with great selections. Staff was welcoming. Prices were very fair. Located in the small town of Shelburne Falls, MA 01370.

Cute little cafe in the town. The chocolate brownie was mind blowing. Nothing to complain about the coffee. The server (owner?) was friendly! This is a wonderful place to hang out with a book!

I came in here twice over the course of two days for afternoon caffeine pick me ups. The first day, I ordered a double espresso Machiatto - which I am accustomed to being two shots of espresso with just a small amount of foam floating on top The Barista made it this way the first day, it was strong, bold, and tasty - and so hit the spot and got my brain cells firing! The second visit on the next day, I ordered the same. What I got was something entirely different (different Barista). Instead what I got was like a mini-latte. Two shots of espresso and a whole lot of milk. I said something to the Barista about it. She replied something about how that is how people like them - and she would remake it. I just decided to go ahead and drink it. They have a free WiFi network. I set up my MacBook Pro and plugged into AC and connected to their network for a bit to get some work done. I would have given Mocha Maya's 5 stars if they had been able to consistently execute on this beverage...

Everything a small coffee shop should be. Great coffee and expresso, along with fresh baked goodies! The excellent music, comfy chairs & great WiFi signal didn't hurt either... A nice relaxing stop, here in Shelburne Falls. Don't miss the Bridge of Flowers.

Good coffee...dark roast isn't "overly dark". And apparently they have live music, too.

We couldn't stop going back for another. The main course was a little underwhelming. I got the pasta athene with chicken ($6 extra) which consisted of evoo, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, roasted red peppers, garlic, and olives (and chicken). I don't think that the chicken was worth the extra $6. In general I thought the dish was pretty under seasoned and didn't have a lot of flavor.

It has a really intimate layout so you feel like you've been tucked into a corner - a corner with a nice view. It had a great booze list - but I was on a solo adventure and needed to drive some more so I settled for a Shirley temple. My one gripe was actually with the Shirley temple. It came in a tall glass that was hard to drink out of without a straw. I'm always happy to not use a straw - but maybe would have been happier if it came in a tumbler - even if it wasn't so festive looking. I got the Athene Pasta dish and it was delicious and came with some really wonderful garlic foccacia. My waitress did a great job. Sometimes people are super weird when I eat alone - but she did great. The Bridge of Flowers is closed this summer for renovation - I think West End Pub was a consolation prize for the people at the table near me. Not a bad consolation prize.

Hubby reported his roast beef sandwich was great although the roast beef looked overcooked to me. What was dubious, however, were the French fries. They had a sort of mealy texture and a very odd taste--I thought they used coconut oil to fry but hubby thinks they coated them with baking soda, then fried. Either way I wasn't a fan.

The inside is charming and has that old wooden bar smell that I like. This would be a great place to grab a drink on a cold winter day. Very Scottish, lol. We were seated immediately for our 6:30 dinner reservation. We each ordered appetizers, which took nearly 45 minutes to arrive, even the cup of soup. Mozzarella sticks were nothing special, the cheddar tomato soup was really tasty. My mother in law loved the cock-a-leekie soup, and my father in law liked his scotch egg. It took another 20-25 minutes for our entrees to arrive. For a restaurant that closes at 8 pm, it was surprising at how long the food took to come out. They must have a very small kitchen. Everyone in our group liked their meal. My "loaded vegetarian baked potato" was just a full cup of sour cream and cheese on top of a potato with lukewarm broccoli on the side. A bit disappointing, with there were at least chives or seasoning. Basically nothing else vegetarian on the menu so this was what I was stuck with. Desserts were good, especially the sticky toffee pudding. I would call this place a step above average in the area, but service leaves a lot to be desired.
