Wonderful neighborhood bakery with a large variety of breads, pastries, cookies and cakes available daily. A few of the cakes need to be ordered in advance if you want the entire cake but there are several available same day. We love their chocolate cake and their chocolate mousse cake.

Apple pie

Delicious! The crust is phenomenal: flaky and delicate. The apple pie filling is so good. If you're not a fan of gooey corn syrup pies, this is for you!!!

Red Velvet Cake
Joanna S.

On their website, it says this cake is the strawberry daunache cake (design wise) but it's actually red velvet! The staff is super nice and friendly and this bakery is super cute, definitely giving "french" ambiance. Parking is limited BUT it's free and everytime i've come, there's always parking available. red velvet cake is definitely a must try! moist & delicious, 10/10!

Eclair

Nice little bakery that has been around for a long time. They have a good selection of sandwiches, breads, pastries. The staff is very friendly and helpful. While not the cheapest baked goods in town, the quality and care is top notch. We sampled several of the sweets. Cake slices: Italian Wedding B, Chocolate, B+, Carrot A. Thumb print cookie, C Eclair, A++. I will say that I loved the eclair, however others in the family thought the chocolate topping was a bit thick. I bought several and thought they were a bit better out of the fridge and only sitting out for a bit. the one that was fully room temperature was good, but fell apart a bit. I had this with coffee and it set it off. Capuchino, A- In the end I would like to go back and sample other treats. I think its a great place for a special treat. Would recommend and return.

Excellent baked goods. We've tried the croissants, Palmiers, pastries and cakes. Great customer service from very help staff. Highly recommended.

This bakery is situated right off of Westheimer. Parking lot is a bit small and can be a challenge to park for bigger cars/trucks. Walking in to the establishment, you are greeted to an assortment of baked goods from cookies to cakes (a classic bakery vibe). I had an order of the chocolate cake for pick up. Pick up service was quick and reliable. Price was reasonable for an 8" cake (about $42). The cake had 2 layers with chocolate fudge icing on the outside. I am a huge fan of chocolate cakes, and this cake had the right amount of sweetness. My only feedback on the cake itself was it being a tad bit dry. I would have preferred the cake to have been a bit more moist. Overall, I would order this cake again if the chocolate cake cravings come back around.

Everything about this place is just amazing! My favorite is the ham and cheese croissant. And the quiche is sooooo good. Not to mention that the service is absolutely perfect!!! I feel like family every time I stop by. Love love love!

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

The Dubai crepe was super rich and creamy and nice large portion size. The strawberry mousse cake was frozen solid, so I was not able to eat it right away but it was a lovely mousse with jelly fruit filling and a thick chocolate crust. Also got a bag of chocolates, which are weighed by the pound. The only qualm I have is that the chocolates are not labeled, so when you mix them all together, it truly is a bit of a Russian roulette on what you'll get. Everything was super yummy. Will definitely need to be back!

This is not a place you go to just have lunch or something. This place is an experience. Some adults might find joy in here (like I do), but my children definitely did, and that's worth it. They came here with the same excitement that they had for disneyland so I'm really happy about that. We all liked the harry potter experience and some different anime type experiences as well that my children liked. The foods and drinks are on theme and although it's not cheap, it's definitely not as much as Disneyland. We came on the weekends, but during lunchtime, and I can see how they might be really busy during the dinner rush. Sometimes you might need a timed entry to go in, but thankfully, we have not since we've been going. I will say that it's quite small and gets cramped really fast. I just think the experience of it all is a really cool and I'm happy we have fun places like this around us in Houston.

I ended up paying for fast passes (they do release free fast passes, but those get scooped up quickly, and I was able to pay $3 per ticket on eventbrite to snag fast passes). Our pass was for 1pm and we were inside by 1:10pm. They do reserve the tables initially for the fast passes, at least when we came in at our time and it was great because I couldn't imagine being here without a table since I had a group of little ones with me! The staff were super friendly and worked as quickly as they could. There was a little bit of stress because of volume of orders and people, but they did the best they could and handled the traffic well. We got a variety of drinks and each enjoyed them-- I will say, all of the drinks are on the sweeter side, but definitely standard for kids. We literally got one of everything on the menu and I wasn't able to grab photos before the kids enjoyed them, but that's the whole point! The add ons can become pricey, but for the enjoyment of your little ones, it's definitely worth it! For food, we got the Derpy spam rice, ramen and grilled cheese. The kids all really enjoyed it and definitely wanted to come back for the next pop up themed cafe!

Inside you will also find French pastries, coffees and teas, gelato, milkshakes, sandwiches and macaroons. I felt the most interesting items were the French pastries as they are cute and tasty as well. Also, they plate the pastries nicely when you dine in as an added bonus. I tried the Chocolate Royale and the Ruby. Chocolate Royale - a petit chocolate mouse slice with flat chocolate panels along the sides. It is delicate and tasty. If you're a chocolate lover, this is definitely up your alley. Ruby - visually this looks like a strawberry Hershey kiss, with red powder on the exterior and a top piece of foil to resemble foil on the wrapper of a hershey kiss. Inside, it's filled with a strawberry cream and has a chocolate base. I just wish there was more chocolate in this one. They have plenty of seating inside as well as along the sidewalk. Inside you have the more fancy tables, whereas outside, they're more weather resistant and not as upscale in appearance. The soft drinks to drink along with your sweets are in a cold case along the hotel side of the space and you just take them to the register as you order. One of the most surprising things when you come here are the relatively affordable prices as you might expect them to be more for being a coffee shop attached to a 5-star hotel with a helipad.

What's nudged this place up to 5 stars for me is they have really improved their coffee game, specifically their quality of cappuccino's. Previously it seemed more of latte, but now to me its a legit Capp. Their choice of pastries hasn't changed, which gives you a good assortment of choices and they have added an additional barista or server which also is a nice touch for service. The only niggling items, parking can be tough, so you'll have to either walk a block or be quick to find a place close by. Regardless, definitely give this place a go to come for a pastry and coffee.
