But I'm sure it's a lovely cozy bakery according to my patient. The brown sugar walnut cake is my favorite one, the texture is so bouncy and inviting. It reminds me of a childhood time cake " Fa Gao" from Taiwan. Not too sweet so it's dangerous to finish the whole box lol. The savory one is also very impressive. Fresh and lots of flavors. The salted egg yolk filling is absolutely a surprise in a good way. My family and I enjoy them very much and hopefully will visit them soon.

We tried some of the individually packed cakes and the egg tarts. The egg tart case was delicious and flaky (a little different than the crumbly,short texture of a traditional egg tarts). The custard was lovely and not overly sweet. The little cakes were a great way to try a variety. We had the passion fruit and mango, strawberry, taro, and black forest . The strawberry had little bits of strawberry jelly which amped up the strawberry flavor. The whipped cream was nice and light and perfectly sweetened. Parking is easy in the lot. Get all your baked goods and beautifully made cakes here! Other places also want a week's notice before pick up. This spot is only 1 day!! I spoke to the owner over the phone and gave him the details of what my vision was for the cake. He made my vision come true, but even better than I thought it would be! And because you order the cake one day ahead, you can taste how moist and fresh the cake actually is! Versus if you were to order a week in advance anywhere else, the cake would be dry and brittle!! Portuguese egg tarts were delightful, probably some of the best in the area. Earl grey Swiss roll cake was masterfully done: right amount of tea flavor with perfect cream to cake ratio. I liked that that their selection isn't overwhelming, just a few great staples with examples of their custom cake decorations throughout the store.
