My husband had an accident at the end of 2022 that left him a quadriplegic. After searching for wheelchair accessible transport services near us, a friend and I came across FreedomCar to get to his first doctor's appointment since being discharged from rehab. It charges you from the time they leave their company to come pick you up, which was very unfortunate since the company is about 40 minutes away from where we live. Anyways, thought to try. What do we know? All this is new to us. Our driver sped through the traffic so much that when she braked suddenly on the highway, my husband lurched forward and crashed back into his wheelchair, sustaining a whiplash. I was so angry! Being a quadriplegic, he was helpless. Didn't understand why she was speeding so much since we were an hour early to our appointment. Maybe she was having a bad day? We had already booked a second trip with this company. I thought to cancel, but my husband said we should give it another try and HOPE we'll have a different driver. No. Same driver again, but this time she was more careful. However, I do not recommend their service. Too expensive and too poor an experience or experiences. Too bad the ones closer to us both went out of business. read more

Professional, efficient, and skilled...I could not have asked for better service and comfort. My driver, Jerome, was friendly but not imposing, and we had a great conversation about modern music that took practically the whole trip. I recommend Freedom Car highly, and I will definitely engage their services again next time. read more

Best transporter in the area. We've tried them all: taxi cabs, vans, and other lemo services. Freedom Cars is the best, cleanest, promptest and most dependable...and for two or more riders, the least expensive.***A major reason for this review, however, is to point out a new service that it has introduced during this COVID crisis.*** Freedom Cars now offers sanitation and detailing services. And why not? It is the same operation it applies daily to its own fleet. It's cars sparkle and now our own car sparkles. Yesterday we took advantage of the cleansing and detailing and dropped our van off. They drove us home and four hours later they picked us up. Another option was to have them pick up the van and bring it back when they were finished.***A great business and service. read more

FreedomCar - Limos Near Me - Baltimore, Maryland

Great service! Dave was lovely. Our first time using Freedom Car will definitely use again.

Freedom Car, with its sky-high prices, overcharged me and changed the quoted rate during the billing process. I was charged for 4 hours at $57/hour for a 2.5-hour trip I understood was to be charged at $50/hour (this included the driver's time back and forth to the office). When I objected, I was bounced from person to person at the company and told I was in the wrong because I had agreed to the charges when I received an estimate at booking. The company also claimed it had sent me an email detailing the charges, which it had not. As soon as I filed a complaint through my financial institution, the company offered to refund one hour at the $57 rate. The dispute is ongoing. This company may work for corporations and people on expense accounts when no one really cares about possible overcharges or for those who are attending an event and don't mind spending freely. However, I was referred to them by a surgical clinic serving mostly the elderly, some of whom may be using Medicare to pay for transportation. In that situation, their billing practices are really abhorrent. read more

First time customer. Needed transportation to Dulles from Baltimore. So happy with this service. Appointments for both pickup and return were confirmed the day before. Driver was exactly on time for pickup at home. On return as soon as we landed there was a text with exact instructions on where to meet our driver. Very specific, exit door #2, cross 2 lanes to Uber lot. Look left, red Toyota. Absolutely perfect. Both drivers were so courteous. Will definitely use again. read more

Now this was a luxury experience! I booked FreedomCar to get to our DC staycation hotel during the pandemic. (We didn't want to worry about parking, and wooooo, you all relieved so much stress.) They were professional, on-time, and their prices are absolutely fair. Charles drove us there, and I'm forgetting the gentleman that brought us back home, but both were wonderful. I'm SO GRATEFUL that I found them this year! I already have another reservation booked. read more

Freedom Car provided the BEST service! I used Freedom Car for transportation to and from BWI airport from my home. Both drivers were extremely professional and friendly. The cars were clean. The experience gave me a feeling of security. It couldn't have been a better experience and I will continue to use Freedom Car in the future. read more

I always have a good experience with Freedom Car, but my last trip with Kevin was particularly enjoyable. He thought it was a blessing to have met me and I was gobsmacked. It's nice to connect with a like-minded soul who happens to drive well, and why wouldn't he, since he drove and taught driving at Greyhound? That's a Freedom Car pedigree!! read more

Can't say enough good things about Freedom Car. They're locally owned, unfailingly courteous, on time, and efficient getting you where you need to be. The cars are clean and well maintained. They also don't allow tipping of the drivers so whatever you paid is what you pay. I've used them several times and plan to continue this service in the future. They're a good crew and highly recommend. read more

5 Stars for great follow-up and communication, as well as a driver who was a delight! I needed to book a car from BWI to a retreat center out in Butler, Maryland (approx. a 35 minute drive). At first I called another service that was recommended by the center and looked a bit cheaper, but they answered with "Yeah?!" and I didn't get a professional vibe, so I checked out the reviews for other services in the area. FreedomCar was on the list of suggested car services and the Yelp reviews were top notch, so I tried them. I went on their website and filled out a request hoping I'd hear back soon. Within a few hours I had an email asking me for more information and giving me a direct line to the person helping me. She was friendly and get me all sorted out. Before my flight I checked my email and they had sent me a reminder with information about my pickup and who to call. Upon landing, I made my way to the pickup area and gave them a quick call to let them know what door I was at and within very little time a marked van pulled up and the Gregory loaded me in. The vehicle was handicap accessible, so I sat up front and we chatted the whole way. Gregory was such a pleasure and pointed out buildings and told me some history about different sites. By the end I was asking about his family and sharing stories. What a pleasant experience! As we pulled into the center, he walked my luggage in to make sure I was in the right spot and we waved goodbye. It's always nice when things go so well when you're in a new city, a little apprehensive about a week-long silent meditation retreat you booked on a whim and now are not sure if you regret. read more

The driver arrived promptly Saturday morning to take us to the airport and when we landed back home the driver had text me before I even got off the plane to let me know he was there and to let him know our pick up location. we just sat back and enjoyed our ride. will definitely be using this car service in the future. read more

Freedom Car is the best car service we've used-consistently. No matter what the time or location or weather-they've come through for us. I can't say enough nice things about the owners, drivers or service. read more

Helpful, friendly, and reliable. We had an important meeting that we could not miss. The flight from NY to BWI was canceled due to a Nor'easter and the train was taken. Due to the tight time constraints, we decided on ordering a car service. Mike at FreedomCar made sure to help secure a car and get everyone to the meeting with time to spare. While I never recommend waiting until the last minute (less than 24 hours) to book services, this was an unusual circumstance. FreedomCar, you are now the go-to whenever we are in the Baltimore/DC area. You made a stressful day of travel stress-free! read more

It's a pleasure getting to work with Mark and Robyne. They are good people. I cannot say enough good things about Freedom Car. We hired them to pick up our wedding party from two locations close to our venue and ferry us over. The driver was so patient as the bridal party was, of course, late. He was calm, got everyone back in a great mood, and delivered all of us safely to our destination without batting an eye. They were wonderful! read more

I was very happy to learn about FreedomCar's auto detailing service. I have used them twice and each time the detailer Dan took such meticulous care of my car. I really can't say enough positive things about all of FreedomCar's services, but particularly the auto detailing. read more

Another perfect vacation! When I calculate the time (and cost) required to reach the airport parking lot, park, and shuttle to the airport, then deal with the return process, I have no qualms about calling Freedom Car for drop off and pick up services, especially when we have early and late hours involved. Their drivers are professional & skilled at negotiating traffic issues, their vehicles are SO clean & comfortable, and their office staff handles the business side efficiently with email updates while you travel. Freedom Car is always our first call when we plan a trip. Thank you to all! read more
