I discovered this place recently as it's close to me. Getting an eye exam after 2 years and no complaints here. The wait was a bit long as I think they overbooked appointments. But the techs were all really nice and efficient. They had the latest equipment. Dr Azadi was brief but friendly. Soroush and Team are great! Very friendly and accommodating. I have keratoconus, which requires custom fit scleral lenses. I am always quite the challenge or any eye doctor. Dr A. Is amazing and that is an understatement. They saw my five and seven year old on Tuesday. My seven year old has dyslexia therefore letters and numbers are still being learned. He was very patient and honest. I was fully expecting to purchase glasses for both kids that day but my seven year old didn't need them, which is great. dialated me then let me drive away, told me that my script was wrong after re-doing the tests, obviously my script would be different after dismayed. this place not only charged by insurance full price but got 50$ more dollars out of me, then had the audacity to give me a script with two numbers, no axis, no sphere, nothing on the script At all. then told me I had 120$ to spend on glasses in the store. they took advantage of me, took my money and sent me out the door without being able to see anything for 4 hours. read more

I booked two appointments, one for me and one for my boyfriend. I find it strange that I told them I had insurance and there was no extra email. The boyfriend has no insurance and they tell him to mask up, do paperwork beforehand and that he has to pay for extra exams that he, nor I, requested. Neither one of us had ever been to this optometrist. Did they forget to ask me for this information as well, or do they think uninsured people are akin to homeless and can screw them over? read more

I've gone for routine check-ups/to refill contact lenses... stumbling blindly around the office after removing my lenses is always a humbling experience. My most recent appointment was super quick, only 30 minutes, and was as enjoyable as it could be. I feel it necessary to note that here, you no longer have puffs of air blown in your eyes as part of the exam. Dr. Azadi is a charmer; warm and personable. He was straightforward about my eye health and although we discussed LASIK surgery, I didn't feel it (or anything else) was pushed on me. I was asked about my contact lens preferences, explained them, and that was that. The first time I came in I was shown photos of my eyes, and not the flattering kind I would post on Instagram... no, the inside of the eye. I could have gone without seeing that - it's none of my business - but again, it's nice to be aware of these things. The only two things I would complain about - maybe my insurance sucks and I'm just going to have to accept paying more than I'd like, but I would have liked to know if certain parts of the exam were/weren't covered by insurance before agreeing to them. I will be an adult and ask beforehand next time. Also, the office will *hound* you with many a courtesy reminder call... I write appts in my planner and consider myself an organized person, so I don't need that frequency of reminders, but maybe it is helpful to others. read more

I waited 2.5 hours to meet her and only for her be completely lost where everything was like she was some kind of temp. Not sure what these people are talking about the Dr. only wanting to put everyone in dailies. Maybe he suggest them cause they're better? Or he likes them? Which are good reasons. You can get whichever ones you want, so... Not a big deal. Anyway, the staff and doctor are the best I've come across. Super friendly, personable, and very knowledgeable. All the tests were explained to me in detail, which was cool... Never has someone explained what the tests were doing. The eye exam was also very detailed, the doctor explained everything that I had questions about. Usually the doctor flips some tools around says mmhmm and gives you some contacts and you're done. Here it was more of a personal discussion and I felt he genuinely cared about me getting the best comfort for my eyes. I finished with the contact portion and went to look at some glasses. Which I was there for also. The glass fitting was also great, tried on a ton of different frames and finally got some I was happy with. Got a lot of good suggestions and opinions. After all was said and done I left with some trial pairs of contacts and a glasses order. As far as I'm concerned this is the best optometrist I've been to. read more

I can't remember her name and I should!) to the exam to the choosing of your frames... every step is easy and they guide you through seamlessly to the day you walk out wearing your new glasses. I also thought it was really cool that he walks you through the results of your eye exam with pictures of your eyeballs, explaining your situation in an easy to understand way. He also answered all my questions, and I had plenty, with ease and a little humor, which I appreciate. And when you choose your frames, they don't push you for the expensive ones. I'm the proud owner of "suspicious-looking" optic nerves, so I've been on "glaucoma watch" for four or five years now. The last two I've been in Dr. Azadi's care. (So far so good, btw. No sign of developing disease. Probably born this way.) I've been going here for a while now. The ladies that work the desk and do the pre eye exams are nice. Especially Myra! They have a decent supply. Prices are up there but no biggie. And unfortunately my compliments end at there. The doctor on the other hand eeeeee. He talks really fast which I just don't know if "I" trust that. He even talks to the kids fast it's like slow down, I understand you have other patients but you don't have to speed through things. O Customer service, where are you?lol...Additionally, he comes off kind of rude. Which I told him and he apologized for it. But that didn't even seem sincere. He made a comment about the difference I paid in my contacts and the price I'd pay for my son which was roughly about 20 something dollars. He was like "you're worried about 20 dollar difference"? I was like "are you going to pay the extra 20 something?I'm a single mom of 3, I'm doing this by myself so yes I am concerned about $20 and then some balance." You never know a persons situation. And for him to belittle me was not good business. Another comment he made was about my sons contact lens being 150 so I asked why wouldn't it be around the price that I paid for mine and he stated "well, obviously yours was less because you got a six months supply." Which makes sense it's just the way he said it. Sometimes it's not what you say it's HOW you say things. It's almost as if he tries to make people look like they're beneath him or stupid....There's nothing wrong with confidence, he knows his stuff, I'll give him that and on top of that, he's handsome as hell! But that doesn't mean you have to come off like you're superior to someone. There's a difference between confidence and arrogance. Arrogance turns people off and will have them going in another direction. He's a good doctor but definitely needs to work on customer service skills and pay more attention to HOW he says things and may re-wording things differently. read more
