This office is nice and quiet and truly a "hidden gem." I recently to went Dr. Padmini Nathan's office because, I scratched my cornea and I was unable to get an appointment for an emergency examination anywhere else. Of the three offices that I contacted this one was the only one that offered me an opening to come in. Although, I had to wait until the following day it was worth it. In the interim I went to the ER, and followed up with their office the next day. My appointment was scheduled with Dr. Sydney Cooper, and I want to say, "she's amazing!" She made me feel at ease and she took my situation very seriously. She was very thorough in her examination, and with that said, she is going to follow up with my Primary Care Physician to ensure that I have lab work completed to rule out any underlying health issues that may be affecting my eye. I was so impressed because, this is the kind of continuity of care and communication amongst a patient's team of health professionals that is so needed and important. I was so thankful and grateful that they were able to schedule me for an appointment, and I knew that I was in good hands. I lost it when she refused to answer me asking " how did my prescription change to both eyes being the same to now both eyes being different and less powers in the contacts even though we are trying different contacts the prescription should still be the same correct? When she started getting flustered and saying that she's never had a patient like me and I lost my cool and told her to go F herself. I've never been treated so rude by a Doctor Who has a one lane highway and doesn't listen to their patients and then goes upfront and still argues with me ...asking me to take the trial contacts out of my eyes after I threw away my other ones! So basically she wanted me to drive home without vision to prove a point. Then she goes upfront after I say that I don't like her and she's got a bad attitude. She's still standing there arguing with me and mocking me and then she asked her staff if she's a bad person and of course her staff's gonna say no because they work there. She's an ass. I don't know why she left West Virginia and her business closed down there, whether it be that she decided to move here or something else, but her reviews are not great there either. Office manager argued with me claiming the prescription must not be right, which is not the case because I used the same prescription a month earlier at Peepers and those glasses are prefect. Walkersville Eyecare did not stand behind their work and refused a refund for the lenses that don't work. Save your time and money and go elsewhere for glasses, especially for progressive lenses as they struggle with determining focal points.

A lady with a man bun and big glasses comes in and try's to tell me I was lucky to get the appointment. The Dr then tells me I should go somewhere else because he's uncomfortable with how angry I am. What a joke this place is.
