June 28, 2022 I have been removing a 12 ft citrus tree from my front yard these past two weeks. The tree has 2-4 inch thorns and I am covered with red scabby cuts. This morning it came time to remove the tree's trunk. It didn't look too difficult. But it was. And it was hot. And it wasn't budging. I gave in at 11:45 am and called Freddy's. By 4 pm Samuel came over and with his professional ax/pick tool and his upper body strength, he knocked that tree trunk out of the ball park! Just call Freddy's and save yourself the time and effort to try to take the tree trunk out by yourself. read more

I have used Freddy's Tree Service 3 times now and have been very pleased each time. They showed up this morning to trim and clean up all my palm trees and they did a great job. Not only did they get the job done quickly, but they left my front and back yards completely neat when they were done. Their prices are very fair without compromising on the quality of their work. If you need trees trimmed, cleaned up or removed completely, give them a call. read more

Short version: First time we were getting the trees trimmed since we moved in to our home. We have about 15 trees and a few hedges along our walls. Hired these guys and could not be happier. Phenomenal job all around! Samuel and his team came on time, we walked the property, and I gave him a summary of what I wanted. A few hours later our yard looks amazing. The cleanup was very thorough too. These guys are the real deal with very affordable pricing. One of the best quotes we received. 10/10 recommend! Long version: Since this was our first time getting tree trimming services and I had no idea what to expect, I got quotes from a bunch of different companies. Half sent us a quote based on photos we provided, the other half sent a representative to our home to provide a quote. Freddy's sent a representative - Eduardo. They were actually our last quote and we were basically ready to go with another company by that time. But Eduardo showed up, answered all of my questions and provided suggestions on how each tree should be cut based on us wanting more sunlight into the house but still having the the leafiness on the trees. He showed me where the last trimmers had cut and explained what the trees would look like if they did it the same way this time (which we didn't want). Eduardo wasn't pushy about getting the job he just said to check out their work on their website and Yelp and compare to the other places I got quotes from. On top of everything else their quote was extremely competitive and all inclusive and firm. Eduardo specifically mentioned that his quote included the hedges along our walls and there were no additional costs. When I went back to ask some of the other quotes about their prices, there was a lot of uncertainty like ohh it could cost more depending on X, Y, and Z. We ended up choosing Freddy's and scheduled service for that same week. Samuel and his guys showed up on time and immediately got to work. Samuel had great communication throughout about making sure the trees were trimmed the way I wanted. The team worked like a well-oiled machine and everything was finished in 3 hours. Bottom line is that these guys exceeded expectations in every category. Great customer service, honest and open pricing, and quality, professional work. They are definitely my go-to company for future jobs. read more

Here are the highlights -great communication through Yelp messenger -arrived 15 minutes early to start the job - trimmed and removed all trees in 4 hours - very nice and easy to work with - they all wore masks -Trees look great (neighbor saw the work and liked it so much that he asked them to trim his trees as well. They did it the same day!) Will definitely use again and highly recommend! read more

Appreciate the staff from first point of contact when I spoke to Michael to request an estimate then Sam came and gave us an estimate until Edward and Team finished the job of cutting 2 large trees and grinding the stumps and cleaning up. They even threw a bonus by cutting down and grinding the thorny bougainvillea bush without charging extra. Thank you Freddy's Tree Care! May God continue to bless you and your families with miracles of healing, protection and provision in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, our one and only Lord and Savior, Amen. read more

Thought about doing this myself but just thinking about it was tiresome. So decided to request an estimate to cut a large tree (20') and remove the stump. Received response less than 5 minutes later from James via yelp. Great price for what had to be done. 2 crews came out, 1 to cut down the tree and another to remove the stump with a cutting machine. Wow! Each crew was in/out in 30 minutes. They work fast, efficient and cleaned up like professionals. Shot out to Rodger for giving recommendations if I were to plant another tree. Also, Michael for communicating and scheduling. All in all, it was more than I expected. 2 Thumbs way up. Will definitely recommend Freddy's to family and friends. Thanks again for a great job! read more

We needed to have 3 stumps removed in the back yard, one was very big and had root flare coming out around 4 foot+ around the main stump. I reached out via yelp and got 10 quotes from different vendors. Freddy's quote was one of the most competitive and I liked the quick responses. On the day of the removal the job was done quickly! Unfortunately one of our sprinkler lines was broken in the process since it was so close to the roots, but the team was honest and up front about it. They then offered to go to home Depot to buy a new PVC pipe and repair it for us, all free of charge. We appreciate the honesty and going above and beyond! Note: we actually had another quote from a company that said if sprinkler lines were broken they would not be responsible and we will have to get someone else to fix! I'm glad Freddy's didn't say sorry too bad out of scope! read more

They were working in our neighborhood, and I asked them if they could do a job for me. They did it right away. Samuel was very courteous, and provided a great service, quick, and efficient with his staff. They cut down 3 huge cypress trees in no time, and left the place very clean. I highly recommend Freddy's tree service. read more

Professional, on time, competitive and fair pricing. I definitely recommend them and I will be having them trim my tree every year.

I called Freddy's Tree Service to remove a massive Canary Island pine from my backyard. I got a prompt bid that was fair and competitive. Freddy's crew handled a very challenging job since the tree straddled two of my neighbors' yards as well as mine and was underplanted with ferns, etc. They removed the tree with no damage to the surrounding plants, fences, etc. Skillful and professional service that I highly recommend. read more

Professional, reliable, timely, knowledgeable, and fairly priced. We've used them several times to trim and remove trees from our backyard that's filled with a variety of trees (Coral, Eucalyptus, Olive, Avocado, Palm, Japanese Maple, et al). They understand each of the trees, so you can rest assured they're pruning them in a healthy manner, and they can shape/size them according to your preference. One thing I thought was pretty cool was seeing one of the crew members using a branch to deflect falling debris away from our window. Top notch service read more

Freddy's was amazing! I used Freddy's for a tree that was growing in a dangerous a lot close to the house. Freddy responded immediately, with a super fair price. We were able to schedule the appointment right away. The crew was on time and did great work. I will use Freddy's for all my needs in the future. 5 stars. read more

No issues. Did a great job at the originally quoted price, which was the best price I was quoted from 3 other companies. Easy to work with.

I had some trees that were old and the roots were going under my neighbor's patio and lifting up the concrete so we had them removed. The crew was at my house bright and early, I love people who are on time, they surveyed the situation and got to work. It was a very big job but they were very professional and didn't mess around. By 2 pm they had everything done, they cleaned up my yard very well. I'm very happy with the end result. I highly recommend Freddy's Tree service! read more

We needed to have a bunch of trees and shrubs tamed in our back and front yard. We tried calling 5 different services for an estimate....Freddy's was the only one that called back. The estimator, Eduardo, called back within an hour of my calling the office for an estimate. He mentioned he could come out the next morning to give an estimate. The next day came and Eduardo was perfectly on time. He was extremely nice and very detailed in his estimate and wanted to make sure he knew what we wanted to get done so he could pass it on to the crew. After he left and gave me the estimate which was more than a fair estimate I called Eduardo back to set up the service call. He put us down for Saturday 9/4 at 12:30 pm for the crew to come out. On Friday, 9/3, I called Eduardo to just confirm that the crew was coming out and we were synched on the time. He assured me everything was all set. So on 9/4, Saturday, the crew showed up early by 2 hours!!!! Now that is premier service. It was a three-man crew that did all of the work. They were quick, courteous, and completed all of the work exactly as we asked them to. We did not have to have them fix or touch up anything. I was astounded to have found such a great company and service team. Needless to say, these guys should be your number one call if you need any tree service work done. read more

I hired Freddy's Tree Service to remove approximately 10 larger trees from the root, trim large hedges and prune 3 other trees. Eduardo at Freddy's came out the same day I called, provided me with a competitive written bid. He was very professional and knowledgeable, answering all my questions. The day of the job, Eduardo came with a large crew of 5-6 people, stump grinder, 2 large wood chippers, and was able to finish the job in under 4 hours. I was extremely impressed to say the least. Other bidders were not only higher but were going to take multiple days to complete the job. Freddy's is truly the A team of tree removal. I highly recommend them. I am now looking to hire Eduardo to landscape and hardscape my backyard. read more

Freddy's Tree Service did a fantastic job. I have had my big tree trimmed many times over the years. I have used several different tree trimming services. This was the first time I've used Freddy's. Since I hadn't had the tree trimmed in a few years, (as you can see in the before picture), it was overdue to be trimmed. Eduardo came out to give me a quote and it was much more reasonable than 2 other quotes I also had. Seeing all of the positive reviews on Yelp, I decided to give them a try and I'm so glad I did. They had a crew of about 5 guys and they had my massive, overgrown tree trimmed in about 3 hours (see the after photo) Most companies would have spent most of the day trimming that beast. I had also requested that they bring plywood to cover my shed, and my neighbors pool equipment, which sit below the tree. They did cover everything with the plywood like I asked and it was well protected the entire time, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend Freddy's Tree Service to anyone. And I will definitely use them again in the future, possibly on an annual basis to keep the tree. read more

Whenever we need trees trimmed or removed, Freddy's is our go-to business. They are professional and really know how to trim, prune and remove tree's. I love how efficient, timely and honest they are. Before we found Freddy's, we had a difficult time finding a service that truly knows tree's. We have recommended them to our family and neighbors. They have never disappointed. Oh, and a benefit of having Freddy's service is their equipment. They bring a stump grinder, a wood chipper and everything they need to do the job right. Our giant Ficus tree always looks and grows great after a trimming and pruning from Freddy's. read more

Our yard has been a shaggy BEAST for the past year. The team was able to make our back and front yard feel like home again!!! They were so detailed with their pruning. We got an evaluation from a certified arborist, Eduardo, and his service was impeccable! Very professional and nice. Excellent work! They came as a team and trimmed all of our palms and tall bushes. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards as well.

Started with a fast response and an actual $ quote for the job I was inquiring about. I appreciated that so much! After speaking with Eddie (super nice and professional) we settled on a job that included a canary date palm removal and the grinding down/removal of a pine tree and avocado tree stumps. Amazingly enough he sent his crew out within an hour of us speaking because they were working a job in the area. Such fast service! The guys that showed up were super nice and professional and extremely fast workers. The work done exceeded my expectations. The price was so reasonable I was able to include a nice tip for the guys. So the bane of my yard for the past 5 years was taken care of in 2 hours! I can not recommend this company enough. I will definitely be referring them and using them for any future needs. read more

This review is a few weeks overdue. I would give more than 5 stars if possible to Freddy's Tree Service. I had previously had some tree removal and trimming done on my property with another service. After working with Edward and the team at Freddy's, I will never go back. The prices were extremely fair, Edward was knowledgeable and the team was just great to work with - the nicest guys. They even tried to repair my fence for me - they're just good guys. The trimming and lacing work was beautifully done, and our avocado and citrus trees look pretty amazing right now. They also ground our stumps and left the place spotless! And, when our fence was damaged later because of the rains/wind, I called Edward who had Samuel call me and stop by. Samuel provided a fair estimate, did a great job on the repair, and cleaned up so nicely afterwards. I can't wait to work with this team again! They're smart, knowledgeable about their fields and nice. read more

I met with 5 different 5 star rated tree trimming companies and even though some would have cost less than Freddy's Tree Service, we are very happy that we went with Freddy's. Eduardo was very patient, knowledgeable and great at communicating. (I am a person who likes to understand the process and whys of everything so I always have a lot of questions!). The trees are thinned out and not butchered like some of our neighbors. As this is a company of arborists, I know that they have a better understanding of what is best for the trees, how to keep them growing in a natural looking state, keep the height growth slow while trimming them so that they are safe with neighbors and during high winds. They did a great job! read more

My wife and I bought this house just about 3 years ago & needed this pine tree in the front yard cut & as shown in the photos, it was getting really out of hand. They branches were starting to bow & break under all the weight; sagging over the middle of the street & our neighbors house. We got over 10 quotes to trim it & decided on Freddy's. The crew came around promptly in the morning, trimmed/hauled away everything on the same day. With big bucket trucks and wood chippers; they were very professional and experienced, these guys definitely knew what they were doing. The trimmer (didn't get his name) was a wizard up in the tree, he didn't just trim the pine, he highlighted all the beautiful aspects of the tree & transformed this over grown tree into a work of art; something that comes with A LOT of experience I'm sure. I'm extremely satisfied with how it turned out; from anxiety filled days thinking this tree was going to topple over, to worry free and proud to have such a beautiful pine in the front yard. Thanks again Freddy's, I will recommend you to everyone I know. read more
