The gelato is definitely on the pricier side, but that is not unexpected for Coconut Grove. The quality came close to matching the price in my view. They also give a complimentary cookie wafer with each gelato, which was a nice touch. The shop itself has a good mix of indoor and outdoor seating. It was a bit hot outside when I visited, so I chose to sit inside, which was comfortable. The staff was also very nice, which made the visit even better. There was a huge crowd on Saturday night, and you have people behaving with no manners: crowding the cases, endless samples, FaceTiming the ice cream on their phones, etc. etc. It's miserable and really loud, and while we have to say that the staff handled everything pretty patiently, it was just an unpleasant place to physically be in (not least because the tables were all filthy and unwiped).
