Well, I stopped by this morning for the first time thinking they were open because the door was wide open and music blasting. There was a woman behind the counter and with without as so much as a good morning all she said was "we are closed" in a kind of rude deminer. Honestly for being my first time going there it was not a very good first impression. The original Freddo is great. This one feels like amateur hour. Terrible service. Manager had no clue what she was doing. Charged me incorrectly so proceeded to get a calculator out to figure out the difference. Then handed me the wrong amount back. While ordering, out of the 20+ flavors, maybe 3 had labels. When I asked a staff what flavors they were, he was annoyed and didn't know most (about 6 of the flavors he just said "son de liquor" (made w/ liquor). He was apparently too annoyed to go into more detail. The container was sticky, the ice cream had ice crystals and the passion fruit tasted nothing like passion fruit - it tasted like a watered down orange sorbet. Not even sure they gave me the right flavor. For $26/kg I was hoping for better service and a much better product. There are so many other and better places to get ice cream in Brickell. We found Freddo while looking for dessert places near our hotel. The unique flavors and high quality of the gelato are worth the price ($6 for a small cone). You can opt for one scoop each of 2 flavors, so we got chocolate chip and milk chocolate. Both were delicious, and the texture of the chocolate chip was different but good. The staff are welcoming, and the shop is clean. The only issue is finding parking, as the area is very busy. Would come again! read more

Good place for a quick dessert after dinner. It's near by other restaurants to swing by right after. The ice cream is sweet and tasty and the sorbet is delicious as well. I really enjoy Freddo's ice cream in Argentina but it's not good in Miami. Most of the flavors are not there and especially there's no vanilla and the dulce de leche has strawberries. Quality of Ice Cream is really good, specially the "Dulce de Leche". Sadly service is extremely slow. We order a milk shake and it was mainly water and no ice cream. We had to wait for our ice creams while the employees talked to each other and decided to start fulfilling the orders. Moreover, we order Chocolate Mouse and they didn't have. That also happened with the whipped cream for the milk shake "they were out of it". In general an OK place. If I could give Freddo 6 stars I would. My boyfriend and I live above it and are regulars so the staff knows us pretty well by now and tonight I accidentally left my phone there. One of the staff members clicked my home button and saw the picture of my boyfriend and I as my phone's background, brought my phone to our front desk to call us and inform us that it was there, then proceeded to wait until I came down and got it. Would've been fine but the staff is literally the least attentive group of individuals I've seen since the DMV in the 90s. No one could be bothered to acknowledge the customers coming in and the place was filthy.
