Dasher & Crank does indeed have some solid ice cream- not 100% sure if the price is justified but it's solid. I had the key lime pie ice cream & it was really refreshing. The inside of this ice cream shop is also very cute, a nice late night hangout spot in Brickell.
Honestly just a mediocre spot for dessert and drinks. I got the matcha drink at first and it was okay, nothing special but not terrible. They do have wifi and a nice seating area so I sat for a bit which was nice and then decided to get ice cream after. The one person working was a bit off-putting and not friendly which was not great, but she was fine with serving and cashier work. The consistency of the ice cream wasn't great - too icy, not creamy at all. Overall, drinks were okay. I would skip the ice cream though.
I ordered Rafaello ice cream in a small cup. The flavor was pretty good, but rather expensive for such a small serving. At around $8 I could get a much bigger portion at other stores. The lady that attended me was not nice at all. The seating area is kind of dirty looking and the walls are rather bright, which is not a great look in my opinion.
They have vegan ice cream options. I had the Ube vegan ice cream which was okay. The service is good the ambiance is nice. It's definitely a nice spot for a hot day.
YUM!! Ice cream - 5 Service - 5 Ambiance - 5 Price-to-quality ratio - 4.5 Dasher Crank in Wynwood is a must-visit for ice cream fans. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. Their ice cream is very creamy and comes in many unique flavors. I really enjoy the lavender flavor, which is both different and delicious. The shop has a creative vibe and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or enjoy a treat by yourself. The quality of the ice cream and the service make Dasher Crank a top choice for a fun, tasty break in Wynwood. I highly recommend it. Definitely check it out today.
The heat in Miami feels so hot to me that we stopped by this store to get some ice cream. We noticed the unique flavors and decided hey why not check it out? The purple Ube flavor is really good. It was filled with flavor. The store has some chairs and tables to sit on and that is what we did. Just to get away from the sub a little. It's a small store but if you want to try out some different flavors this store could be the one for you.
Walking in the neighborhood and came across Dasher & Crank...on a hot day ice cream was perfect! My understanding is this is two restaurants in one...sweets and boba tea and ice cream shops. The customer service was great as she let us try as many sorbets and ice creams before buying. I went traditional with Oreo...one scoop in a cup and I LOVED it! While I was eating the first scoop I was contemplating purchasing another scoop! The decor is really cute with a couple of tables and chairs as well as a stadium seating-like stairs. This place is great!
This place is sooooo artsy and vibrant. I'm from LA so it gave me an Arts District LA vibe. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I'm so indecisive with ice cream flavors so I always ask what is the most popular/best seller. The ube Macapuno was the most popular. For it being vegan it was still pretty good. The Macapuno topped it off well I give it 8/10. If I'm ever back in Miami I'll definitely be back to try different flavors and their lattes
Fun ice cream shop in Miami if you're in the area. They have a 8-10 ice cream flavors daily to choose from. Their most popular flavor seems to be ube. As a fan of pistachio, I got a double scoop of ice cream with 1) pistachio and 2) ube. The cost of a double scoop was $10, which was definitely a bit on the pricey end. Both ice cream flavors are on the sweet end. The pistachio is probably the one I would get over ube. The pistachio ice cream was creamy and had bits of pistachio throughout each bite. The ube, however, was not as creamy and just too sweet. The texture was also different from the pistachio and the ube melted very quickly. If you love ube, this might be for you! In terms of parking, there's street parking, but the neighborhood is a bit rundown, so it gets a bit challenging.
Definitely a strong contender for best ice cream in Miami, but not the best ice cream I've ever had. The ube ice cream was excellent: highly recommend, can't beat it. The pistachio was lacking: the best ones are super rich and have more salt. I really wish I'd tried one of the chocolate flavors--they seemed to be quite popular and would have paired well with the ube. Overall, recommend, but it did not match the thrill and joy of my first ever bite of Salt & Straw in Portland, OR (and now just a few blocks away in Miami as well!) or the nut flavors at Morgenstern's in NYC.
There's no way you can go wrong with ice cream. This is a cute and colorful little ice cream shop! We ordered the mint chocolate chip with white chocolate on top and Nutella ice cream on a cone with white chocolate on top. Everything was tasty!! They also serve matcha and latte drinks.
Came here after a late night in Brickell, since the reviews were great and wanted to try their homemade ice cream ! The ube cream was delicious, it was my first time having it & they have options for dairy to non- dairy . Looking forward to try more flavors next time .

I was in Wynwood before heading to a birthday party and decided to get matcha. Dasher & Crank was the closest spot. I luckily found parking close by wne when I walked I was immediately in awe! I love the decor and simplicity of it all. I was immediately welcomed by the employee ans was given great suggestions before ultimately deciding on a drink. I have had better matcha for $12, but this is somewhere I would come back to when in the area. read more
This cute coffee, matcha, and ice cream shop is a vibe in Wynwood. Small but super cute and aesthetically appealing. I got the matcha latte with honey cold foam. I been here before and tried their ice cream too! Super delish and prices are reasonable . They do also offer shakes if you feeling crazy . Service is friendly and welcoming . read more

I wasn't too impressed with the Matcha drinks at Dasher & Crank. They advertise that they serve Yoko matcha on the building and have a list of Matcha beverages on their menu. I came in over the weekend and ordered a Matcha con Leche with almond milk and it was okay. I came in 3 years ago and had a Matcha with pistachio milk, so I was disappointed that wasn't an option. I also didn't specifically ask for an iced matcha (I assumed it would be hot), but the cashier brought it out for me cold. She was a sweet girl, so I didn't find it necessary to correct it. Maybe they don't serve hot drinks anymore, I'm not sure. I can't comment on the icecream, but the quality of Matcha teas has went down significantly so I can't recommend this shop. Interior is cute, blue painted steps and the mural are nice, but that's not enough to make me want to visit. read more

Dasher & Crank is a vegan ice cream spot located in Wynwood. When my husband and I touched down in Miami we tried to go here on our first night. It was a Saturday and so many people were out it was impossible to get parking. So we tried later in the week. Honestly Dasher & Crank is good but nothing crazy good. For vegan ice cream I guess its good but my husband wasn't impressed. We shared 3 scoops. We got their Ube, Black Sesame, and Strawberry. The ube is their most popular and best flavor there (I thought). The black sesame was okay and strawberry was my husband's favorite. It's too tart for me. Each scoop was much larger than I expected. The consistency is also a little too runny for my liking. The inside of the place is cute and is shared with a drink place. It's pretty photo friendly. The staff was also really nice and allowed us to sample flavors before deciding. We also read on Yelp that they had a 6 scoop for $10 sampler thing but that is no more. Besides just ice cream they had sundaes, shakes, cookies, and brownies. You can even build an ice cream sandwich. However, we probably wouldn't be back. Maybe because where I am from vegan and asian ice cream flavors are plentiful we just weren't impressed. It wasn't worth us finding parking and walking a few blocks down. read more

Ordered: Pick 6 Ice Cream Flight (~$10): earl grey with dark chocolate, lavender, strawberry, cream cheese and guava, hazelnut crunch, passionfruit sorbet, and mango sorbet. Aya's take: great value and portion! Solid variety of flavors; easily shareable with 2-3 people. read more

Got the vegan Ube Mascarpone and it did not disappoint! They had a lot of different ice cream flavors - both dairy & dairy free and you're able to sample them all! It's a little pricey but it's worth it :) such a cute spot with a huge picture perfect spot! Customer service was great! read more

Dasher & Crank has some non traditional ice cream flavors, but from what I've tasted, everything is delicious. I wanted to venture out of my comfort zone, so I got a small, half scoop of both boysenberry and ube ice cream. Although they were in the same bowl, the flavors didn't clash-- each scoop was creamy and flavorful. It was my first time trying either flavor, and I enjoyed both. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Inside, the parlor is decorated very chic with seating as well as auditorium style stairs for you to sit if all of the tables are filled. read more

I love Wynwood, the vibe, the art, and the food! Some of my favorite places to eat are located in this area. Now I can add the ice cream of Dasher & Crank to my list. This ice cream shop was opened in April of 2019 by owner Daniel Levine. Levine's mission statement is "Happiness to our community through ice cream". This pink shop is adorable. It is set up with the Instagram photo in mind, from the framed witty sayings to the angel wings painted on the wall. There are so many places to pose your ice cream for that perfect social media picture. My favorite thing about this place is the flavors. I love it when an ice cream place has something that makes me want to bust out of my standard order of chocolate chip mint. On the night we visited Dasher & Crank offered best seller ube, early gray, and lemon speculoos. Those are flavors I can get excited about. All of the artisan flavors are made in house in small batches. So far they have created 425 flavors and they change the flavors up each week. Dasher & Crank keeps things fresh with collaborations with restaurants, breweries, and purveyors throughout Miami. Some of their past creations have included raspberry wasabi, salmon, sour cream and onion, everything bagel, and chicken and waffles. After tasting a few flavors, I picked a scoop of pretty and delicious lavender in a cone (6.25). I have tasted lavender in other places where it is overpowering with the floral but this one didn't have that problem. The cone was so fresh and delicious too. The ice cream was more of a gelato consistency in that it melted quickly. Prepare to photograph fast and eat quickly. I loved mine but I don't think my friend was as enamored as she left half behind in her cup. Ice cream can be purchased in cups, cones, and in pints. In addition to ice cream they also sell cookies, brownies, craft beer, soda, floats with beer and soda, matcha, wellness lattes, and coffee. I would definitely come back to see what other flavors they have concocted as their creativity is off the charts. read more

Perfect place to satisfy that ice cream craving after a Heat game (anytime really) with friends! Staff was super friendly and let my friends and I sample a variety of their flavors -- all of which we were impressed with. If you have trouble choosing a flavor, I highly recommend the ube macapuno, which tastes like a mix of ube and coconut with a possible note of coffee. They also offer gluten free and vegan ice cream flavors. There is plenty of indoor seating with great decor as well as the opportunity to explore Wynwood with your delicious ice cream. read more

The vegan options are so yum!! Ube is a must!! I also enjoyed the strawberry coconut. Easy to get to and the parking was surprisingly good for a Sunday evening. Will be back to get some more in the near future! read more

2nd time being here and it's a solid option for ice cream in the area. I got the chocolate crank which was ok, and the mocha chip which was good. The person working was really friendly. My friend really liked the brownie/cookie crunch flavor. They give you a generous portion, I got a double for $8. I think I was expecting it to be a bit more satisfying and creamier for the price though. They have a lot of matcha items that are probably worth exploring. read more
Good ice cream in Wynwood.. what makes them stand out is the flavors featured are definitely creative and different from many of the flavors that other shops carry. Also you can tell that they use quality ingredients to make the ice cream. read more
