Country fried steak, eggs over medium, covered hashbrowns and pancakes.

In from Texas to visit my folks, etc. Reminder of the mom & pop restaurants of my youth. What Freddies may lack in high buck fanciness they make up for in friendliness, coziness, and tasty food! I got the country fried steak. It was better than the one I had on Monday in Texas! The hashbrowns with green peppers, onions, and cheese were pretty good. The pancakes were light and fluffy. I enjoyed my meal from start to finish. My mom enjoyed her Reubens and chicken dumpling soup. She even gotta quart to take home for dad. Fyi, Freddies also supports the local youth sports teams, which is great to see in today's world!

Freddy's was a nice touch to our hiking trip. An American restaurant with very good servers. Place looks like an ordinary restaurant but they have tried to personalize it with pictures, and stuffs. Food was good and fresh, presentation was good. We enjoyed our breakfast with an ease. I will come here again provided opportunity.

This is the chicken drummies and the old fashioned strawberry milkshake I picked fries and the breadstick and corn was very good!

Service was amazing it was not super crowded and loud. The food was very good and it was fresh and hot. I will definitely come here again.

Busy for lunch.

Small town family owned buisness. It's very rare we go and don't be treated like family. Always Greeted By Name.

The worse place in town to eat. You wait forever and one look into their kitchen will make you wonder how someone hasn't died from E. coli!

Went back this past week. Had a great time…read more Caught lots of fish. Owners are very nice. We have decide to make this a two week a season stop for us as so far it's our favorite place to relax.

When I first arrived on Friday I was greeted by one of the owners Merle. I was told where my spot…read morewas and informed it was pretty wet from this past weeks rain which I was prepared for. They have lots of great activities including a rubber duck race where the donate 1/2 of the money raised to the local food shelf. Everything was going great until yesterday(Sunday) when I decided to walk around the campground to check out more of the area. I was on the road at the far end of the campground when a campers 4 dogs spotted me and started running and barking aggressively. I stopped to try and give the owners a chance to call them off as well as hopefully deescalate the situation. That is when the German Shepherd came around the back of me and bit my bum. I said ouch. The owner finally got the dogs attention and put him in their camper. I left and went back to my camp site. I saw the skin was broken and soon I had a large bruise. I called the office and asked if the campground owners could please stop by my site as I wanted them aware of what happened. 2 hours later still no contact from them. I then went up to the bar and restaurant and located Merle and Laura. I told the what transpired and only had one request which was to please find out if the dog is up to date on vaccines. They said they would. That was 6 pm last night. I left the campground at 10 am this morning and still have not been contacted. Dogs off leash when so many children are around is an issue. If the campers next to me had encountered this dog with their 1 and 3 year olds I do not think it would have been I so minor. Again loved the campground and activities but disappointed that this issue was not followed up on. Worst part is the dogs belong to a long time seasonal camper at the facility so I'm afraid it won't be addressed.

I used to frequent this place LOT more, years back, before I started working second shift, but…read moreeven the last time I visited, which granted, WAS nearly a year ago now, this bar and grill was to die for. As a couple other reviews have mentioned, the cheesecake MAKES this place, and if you don't like cheesecake, well, I'd say don't bother going, but then you'd miss out on all the delicious FOOD and DRINKS they have to offer! I'm personally fond of the Reuben, and one other sandwich I can't think of the name of, but it's soaked in brandy or something... ‍ And I don't drink alcohol, or I'd have something to say about THAT, but I do know they have a variety of libations on tap, if that's what you're into. personally, I go for the non-alcoholic Shirley Temple, which is served with a and a ! Food-wise, I try'n stick with whatever the daily special is, though I tend towards seafood in general. The steaks are cooked to perfection, as is everything they make!

BEE CAREFUL, YOU MIGHT GET " S T U N G " HERE…read more This looked interesting, and we were hungry for lunch. Walked in and went, WOW, how clean! It is a cute fisherman type bar on a lovely lake. Bellied up to the bar, and ordered drinks from a very nice bartender, Menu was righteous, oh boy, this is gonna be great! Downhill fast from there. Couldn't even taste the vodka in the cocktail. No IPA available, but beer was cold. We ordered 3 items off the menu and they all were practically inedible. Cheese curds were frozen from a factory, not worth the cheese curd calories :-( Soup was pure mush, but flavorful. Nothing like a mushy dumpling. Chicken salad tasted like chemicals, probably from french bottled dressing or lettuce soaked in chemicals. Yes, it took awhile to get our food, and no, not many other people in there. Hmm, the deck looks awesome. Bartender was nice enough to take the soup off our bill. Maybe she went and tasted it for herself. F I R S T T I M E L A S T T I M E

Food- Beef Brisket Grill (Wrap) with a side of warm potato salad-(Sliced beef brisket, bbq sauce,…read moreguacamole, bell peppers, green onions, bacon, pineapple & cheddar cheese) 10/10 the side was also very good 9/10 Drink - A Bloody Mary with lots of garnish (piece of sausage, two small cubes of cheese, an olive, an pickle) 10/10 Server/Bartender - Isabella - Service was great! I was helped by her right away, and listened to her recommendations for food. I'm happy I did! In between her busy tasks, we were able to have a (at least for me anyways) a pleasant conversation. She checked with me to see how the food was, and consistently made sure I was enjoying my time. 12/10 I would like to add, there was other staff that would ask to see how I was doing. Super thoughtful, professional, and relaxed. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. Most of the atmosphere though comes from the staff. My wrap was delicious. I enjoyed the flavor of the brisket mixed with the veggies and pineapple. It was refreshing. I will be coming back. Over all, 10.25/10.

We were flying to Brainerd, MN on a small plane and had to divert to St. Cloud thanks to wildfire…read moresmoke (!!) so were stuck here for a bit until we caught a ride the rest of the way. The St. Cloud airport is very nice but small, with no food options on the general aviation side so we borrowed the courtesy car and navigated to Jules for lunch - I'm so glad we did! This place is very cute, service was great, and food was delicious - I had a turkey and cheddar panini on marble rye (yum), my son had a buffalo chicken wrap, my husband had a tuna melt and we all loved our choices. I also got a latte and big sugar cookie to go (morale needed a boost!) and both were excellent. Would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to return if our travels take us through here again!
