I recently moved to Vancouver and this Fred Meyer is relatively close to our new home. I came here to buy a few garden supplies and they had everything I needed. They also have some awesome folding shelves made from solid wood that are cheaper and will last much longer than Ikea furniture at twice the price. The staff in the garden department were very helpful save for the fact that the gate was closed and whoever had the key was gone meaning I had to walk all my dirt and plants all the way around (I parked near the gate for ease in loading since I saw it open when I parked). Overall I was happy with the garden center and home goods departments. I can't say much for their produce. read more

The **pharmacy** staff at this location are WONDERFUL and consistently patient, kind and helpful. The store is smaller than some, but they have a new gas station and an improved south parking lot. read more

I love my local Fred Meyer! I go there once a day! But today I am going to Safeway! Fred Meyer in orchards has a new manager that likes to say "good morning" no matter what time of day it is! When you r shopping and here that when it is dark outside and nighttime it is more than annoying! He's new to the store but I spend way to much money to hear management just saying good morning all day to be a jerk!!!!! So when Freddy's can get your new good morning guy to stop saying that to every customer day or night I will start spending my$$ there again! He's short with glasses! Annoying! read more

This is my go-to store! Yes, it's quite a bit smaller than the neighboring FM stores, and doesn't have sushi which I'm always craving, but the fact that it's smaller makes it so much easier and quicker to navigate through. I know by heart where everything is- and I absolutely love the Fred Meyer Playland. My kids adore Ms. Iyvonne and its so nice to be able to shop without lugging the 3 of them around! Another great feature is you never wait in line...which another big box store I won't mention could take a cue from...I've literally seen every lane open before, and have had times where only 1 person was in front of me when they open up another lane to help me checkout more quickly. It doesn't go unnoticed. And 90% of the staff are awesome! Only reason for losing a star is that it seems like a hangout place for a lot of homeless people. Maybe it's the proximity to the bus stop, but there are frequently unsavory folk loitering around the entrances and following you to your car to ask for money, it can be unnerving. I Like shopping here employees are friendly good selection I don't like the idea of buying food on Amazon a turn off for me.The online experience has become a experiment for antisocial behavior. I work in retail so knowing how to greet someone when they are walking up to the counter is a big thing for me. I went in to buy a few things and walked up to a register. The cashier just stared at me and didn't say a word. The other cashier was standing behind him chatting away. I proceeded to walk to the self check out thinking that would be faster. For some reason, the self checkouts are just as slow. The self checkout attendant was arrogant and I am glad to say that I will never shop at this lazy Fred Meyers again. read more

The store seemed to be better but I noticed the same exact people at the customer service that were supposed to have been fired months ago after I went through hell just trying to get a money order number to file for a lost/missing money order told me I had to have the receipt with the number on it so why would you bring in a receipt to get a number you already have it's stupid. An employee had sent me a yelp message apologizing all over the place and telling me to come back in to the store and the person I had all the trouble with lora lee no longer worked at the store but Marcia was still there who told me to come in and she would call western union for me then 10 minutes later when I got there and asked got a mad look on her face and said we can't help you because the manager Jen said not to help you. and some people were fired because of the sub-standard service they provided but when I just went back in there they were the same people that gave the terrible service back at the same desk pretty disappointing. don't ever buy a money order here. read more

Went to pharmacy to fill a prescription when I was very sick I was told that it would be 45 minute wait when I went back I was told to wait another 20 minutes finally I went back and they were OUT of my product (he literally looked behind him on a shelf it took him five seconds) so I waited an hour with a toddler while I was sick for no reason you guys are horrible read more

Worst Fred Meyer I visited in Vancouver, WA. All of your aisle are overloaded with different products so if you blink you miss what you are looking for and they are too narrow. The very worst is that there is no access to 78th St so you have to use Hwy 99 and do a U turn. I think I found the ghetto grocery store in Vancouver, it needs a serious remodeling and your parking lot needs to be redesign for easier parking and access in and out of the store. read more

Worst fred meyer ive ever been to. Always looks dirty. Need to redo floors or steam them. Very old and very small. I love freddys and this one does not do the others justice. Small non-food selection, especially clothes. New gas station is very nice and staff are always friendly. My husband says the ladies in the jewelry dept were very helpful and nice. Wish this store could get an upgade. Not in the greatest part of town. read more

I shop at Fred Meyer on Highway 99 and 78th often. My issue is with the gas station. EVERY time I go to fill my vehicle the pumps shut off about every 20-30 cents. It takes so long that I have been stopping under $4 and making the drive to Safeway out on 138th. If someone notices that issue corrected please post it. Until then I won't be back. read more

I have been shopping at this location for over 9 years now (as an adult), but went there many times as a kid. Sure, you aren't going to find everything that you will find at the other Fred Meyers, but that is because it is a lot smaller. Usually, I can find pretty much everything that I need there, so it hasn't been an issue for me. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I am in there once a week (minimum). The place is always clean, and my three year old loves going there because they always acknowledge her, give her a sticker, and (if there is no line), will ask her how she is and such. I do have to agree that it is hard to get in/out of the parking lot (depending on which way you are turning), and it would be nice if there was a light there. I am hoping that they will install a light once the fuel station has been added in. read more

One of the worst Fred Meyer I've ever been to. The associates are very rude, besides patty kuzma. The management needs to step up to the plat and do there job and this is not just for this Fred Meyer but all of them. I would rather shop at Walmart a and spend my hard earned money. I'm confused as to how they aren't able to train their cashiers on how to scan a coupon at this store.

This is a fine store. I like that they have a redbox inside, but that is about all I go there for. Too expensive compared to the Walmart and Winco that are so close. read more

Incredibly awful deli workers! I asked for an empty salad bowl, and offered to pay 25 cents for it because I was buying salad mix and wanted to dump it in for my quick lunch. I was told NO because of recent theives.....that made me feel targeted and judged when all I wanted was a simple piece of plastic. I was then told I'd have to come back with my receipt wih proof of purchase on my salad mix in order to get a salad bowl.....and so I did. They saw it crumpled in my hand but didn't look at it, so basically they LIED. Then I get told I can't have and salad bowl, but rather a plastic cup with a lid. Are you guys just miserable or what? NEVER COMING BACK HER THIS STORE. PERIOD. Lol. read more

Best place for me - close to home, clean, good price (glad prices are just as good as Winco), staff is friendly. Extremely happy that they are almost finished with the fuel station. Can't wait to not have to go up north or Costco for my gas. Wish the store was bigger so I don't have to go to the other Freddys. read more
