Wow this shop is awesome . First timer . Never went to any Fred myers in US . They don't have Fred myers in east coast . I actually went to buy a SD card for my camera , but they had so many other things . It was almost like a Walmart super store ! The electronics shop was small but I got SD cards for a super good discount . Better than Amazon price . They had all other groceries and daily use items . They also had wine/ beer etc. service was good . Billing was also quick . Liked it overall...

Looking for Super Bowl supplies they have them. I went in for deli salads and lunch meat for my client. Apparently it was not good to I g. There were two employees having a serious conversation and it was more important than acknowledging me or wanting to wait on me. I started to walk away but I waited a good 3 minutes just like g at them and they did not seem to care. The store was very busy and no one e else was in the deli are beside those tow guys. Well when one of them with an attitude looked at me I pointed to what I wanted and the. He wanted to o refill the container. I said that's enough just a small amount, he slammed it in the counter and turned to his friend with a smirk. I asked about another item and then said you know what never mind I don't deserve to be treated this way. I walked out and left all the items I was going v to purchase because of his rudeness. I'm sure I will n er return to this location. It was very dirty and not good and very expensive. I hope the employee gets his attitude together and does not treat others this way. I started not to comment but I wanted the manager to be aware of this behavior happening in his store No more for me. 1/5 because they have Super Bowl display.

My mom and I stopped at this Bothell Fred Meyer on Friday the 5th of February 2021 to get some miscellaneous supplies after stopping by the Bothell Feed Center to get some feed for the birds and other backyard critters. The store is well laid out and the aisles as well as sections within the store are well labeled. The ceilings are tall which is nice because it allows for signage indicating different sections of the store such as household, groceries, and hygiene. Each aisle had its own signage as well. The floor plan and aisle spacing made movement easy even with others in the aisle, not too tight a fit. Workers were friendly and warm in their interactions, and merchandise prices were good. We found everything we were looking for except for Gouda and a specific type of razor heads. Apples were in abundance in the produce section and the Gala Apples I picked out were perfectly ripe and taste delicious. The other apples looked fresh as well. Bathroom and household cleaning supplies were straightforward in finding. The parking lot is large and easy to maneuver in and out of in a compact car and the restrooms were very nice and open even in these COVID-19 times when my mom and I stopped. In the women's restroom at least the doors were full length which is nice in preventing uncontrolled children from peeping on you by putting their head under the door without your consent while using the restroom. I appreciate the store's respect of its customers' privacy.

FM Management, Sale price $2.99, Charged at register $3.49. Not the first time.

BEWARE, when using the f/m app, the price of the digital coupon on the tag under the product may not be the price you are charged! you frequently will be charged the regular price. i was over charged $2 for a bag of coffee. if i wanted a refund, that is the advertised digital coupon price, i would need to stand on line for probably 30 minutes in a long line at customer service. i've reported bait & switch pricing to a f/m manager to no avail. guess i just have to stop shopping there, the problem continues. just beware, double check if you are using digital coupons. I would like to see one of the happy cartoon FM shoppers, on their TV commercial, realize they were overcharged and go stand on a long line to get their $$ back. Truth in advertising!

This is my "home" Fred Meyer- I come here a few times a month either for grocery shopping or to grab a random item. Everyone is friendly and aside from some long checkout lines, I always have a good experience here. I even ordered my toddlers 2nd birthday cake from here last month and everyone commented on how cute it was- and it was only $20! Score. Today I tried Clicklist for the very first time and I was SO impressed. I will be using that again for sure- it was so easy!

Upgrading to two stars as I've noticed improvements - I haven't had to stand in line for price corrections at customer svc for two straight months, ad items are occasionally stocked, and I really appreciate the earth friendly change removing paper ad coupons. However, Fred Meyer continues to recklessly, uselessly and needlessly deploy more and more items in earth-killing plastic. WHY are we now wrapping 4 cans together in single-use throw-away plastic, when its a simple thing to change pricing in software if we buy 4? Why are we wrapping baking-potatoes and fruit in plastic? The 'click-list' fiasco angers me with the 'Click-list only' coupons, and the employees clogging the aisles with their monster 'Click list' carts. Laughably the 'Simple Truth' brand items dont incorporate earth-friendly packaging. The issue of stocking (and keeping things stocked) AD ITEMS continues to be a problem.

I bought this July 27th because I didn't realize it expired JUNE 29th. Disgusting.

They sell expired food. I bought a bag of Pita Chips on JULY 27th that expired on JUNE 29th. I didn't realize this until I got home. I was told to drive back to the store, in 4pm traffic, for a refund. What?! I was also told they have a "system" that notifies them when food has expired. Well clearly that system is broken and the employees are lazy. How do you not touch a section of your grocery store for at least a MONTH?!

Rite Aid has never made an error with my prescriptions, never overcharged me, or flogged me off. It's heartbreaking to see so many jobs lost and the glut of vacant stores. All due as a result of corporate failures. I was shocked when Rite Aid moved to acquire Bartells. They were in no position to burden themselves with more debt and responsibilities. Rite Aid acquired Thrifty Payless after Thrifty tried to borrow their way out of trouble. Rite Aid knew better than to repeat that mistake. They literally witnessed and took advantage of Thrifty foolishly burdening the struggling company with more debt buying out virtually bankrupt Thrifty Payless/Pay-N-Save. It is impossible to borrow you way out of debt without a viable plan. Expanding the footprint of struggle stores only results in rapid collapse. I don't know how the acquisition of Bartells went through. Two struggling pharmacy chains - drowing in debt, with suppliers cutting them off, are supposed to magically merge into a debt free company? Nope. A 10 yo peeking at their books would have said this is insanity. Especially given the state and demands of their aging stores and seriously burdensome payroll demands exacerbated by pandemic induced record inflation. Add to this consumers shifting to free delivery of copay free meds via insurance company subsidiary pharmacies, cheaper meds with free delivery via Walmart, Amazon, and others, and the general shift away from brick and mortar. Without significant investment in home delivery, Rite Aid could never climb out of their debt hole. The financials and operations at CVS are unknown to me. What I do know is, If they do not have the infrastructure to provide free home delivery at competitive prices, I do not see their standalone drugs store surviving. Consumer loyalty has given way to convenient and cheapest. Which to most under 40 is Amazon, and to a lesser degree Walmart. Tragically, Amazon can afford to undercut everyone. Regulators need to break Amazon up. They're destroying local economies. I'll save that for later.. afterall this is a review of now defunct Rite Aid. Haha

So I told her that even though this location isn't on the list that's closing down, I didn't trust that. (My husband and I have joked that this must be a drug front cause how else could they have stayed open for so many years when we never see anyone there in store shopping etc. Not to mention if you've come into this location in person the last two years - there's barely anything on their shelves! I was in there two months ago, and there was practically nothing inside, just a few aisles on each end of the store with merchandise, but most of those shelves were even mostly empty) Well, she wasn't having it. She told me I didn't need to switch, or worry cause they weren't going anywhere, and she BEGGED ME TO STAY AT RITE AID. Like, she wouldn't let me get off the phone. That's why my recent experience at this Walgreens stood out, but also why I feel this review needs to be balanced. We actually transferred our prescriptions here from Safeway a couple of months ago, hoping that a larger pharmacy would be more reliable when it comes to keeping medications in stock. At Safeway, we often found ourselves scrambling to locate another pharmacy because they simply didn't have our medications in stock. Unfortunately, even though we've only been at Walgreens a short time, it has still been a stressful experience. It's very difficult to get through by phone, and there have been multiple times where I've been on hold for 20 minutes only to have the call disconnected. Prescriptions are not always ready when expected, which adds to the stress. We've had moments where we're close to running out of a medication and it's still "in progress," leaving us rushing to the store at the last minute. There also seems to be some kind of disconnect between their fulfillment system and the pharmacy itself. To be fair, this doesn't seem unique to this location. Many pharmacies these days appear to be short staffed and dealing with medication shortages, and it's clear the people working there are doing their best under difficult circumstances. I truly don't believe these issues are the fault of the staff, but rather a reflection of how these companies are being run. That said, the reason I'm giving three stars instead of a lower rating is because of Grant, the pharmacist. He truly went above and beyond to help us with several prescriptions. He was not only knowledgeable, but also incredibly kind and genuinely sympathetic. Instead of rushing through things, he took the time to really understand what we needed and jumped right in to help. It was such a refreshing experience and made a stressful situation so much easier. Grant is absolutely the shining light at this location and honestly the reason we're willing to stick around and hope things improve.
