This Fred Meyer location was my go one stop shopping place. Close to my home for 4 years, love this location.

I have NEVER had a worse checkout experience. Im literally sitting in my car crying while I'm writing this. I'm 32 weeks pregnant, a tube of croissants dropped out of my cart, it exploded, and no one helped me pick it up. I asked the bag lady if she could run and grab another for me and she looks at me and says "you can grab it yourself it's on aisle (whatever aisle is the biscuits and stuff I forget.) THEN I asked her not to bag the bags too heavy because obviously I'm VERY PREGNANT. And she's stuffing stuff into the bags at the end. I go to make sure they're not heavy before I leave and sure enough, some of them are too heavy for me to pick up. The only plus is the nice lady I asked for help. She helped me fix the bags and get them to my car. I'm angry, I'm sad, and I'm overwhelmed. I love Fred Meyer but now I don't want to go back. read more

There are always solicitors right outside the doors, and immediately when you enter. They harass you and if you say "I'm sorry but I'm really busy" and continue on, they will look at you like you slapped their mother. This is the only store I know that freely allows solicitation at their entrance. Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, etc. has a no harassment policy. It's gotten to the point that I'm so anxious about it I just go somewhere else like Safeway. Friends and neighbors in the area echo this sentiment. read more

I was policed by the cashier on making sure I renew my Driver's License which is due in 6 months. Mind you I am a 64 yo adult! Since when do cashiers at grocery stores make their business to intrude on our private lives! The other problem is the store is filthy, I'd never buy produce there! Review for the Pharmacy Department My provider sent in a prescription, and when I came to pick it up, I expected a pharmacist to provide guidance since it was a new medication for me. The pharmacist--an Asian male named B******n--approached after chatting with a colleague. Unfortunately, his manner was curt and unfriendly, and the consultation felt rushed and lacking in detail. When I asked whether the medication should be taken with food, he simply replied, "doesn't matter," without further explanation. I believe B******n could benefit from additional training in customer service and communication to better support patients. Hopefully management realizes this and somehow show him some guidance. read more

Garden Manager has no customer service skills. The guy never smiles or greets customers. He is rude and not accommodating whatsoever. I have been a loyal garden customer since I moved to the area and anxiously await the Fushia Saturday Sale. I was the first one there today. He refused to fill 4 of my containers because they were buckets, 3 of the buckets were actually smaller than the flower pots I did have. I go inside to buy 4 planters to get the soil. I come out only to see them filling a lady's bucket. So I speak up and ask them how come they are filling her bucket but refused to do mine, he tells me this is the only & last one they are doing. WTF!? So I got the soil in the new planters, dumped it in my buckets and returned the planters right after. I will return all the $350 worth of plants tomorrow and will keep the soil. Last Fushia Sale I will attend. Hopefully karma will get him one day. read more

If I could, I would give Fred Meyer a minus five stars. Their policy on alcohol is it doesn't matter how old you are, you have to show your drivers license. I'm a 78 year old Air Force veteran, and it p*sses me off that I have to pull out my drivers license every time I buy some beer. How about giving seniors a card of their own to show? Wow this shop is awesome . First timer . Never went to any Fred myers in US . They don't have Fred myers in east coast . I actually went to buy a SD card for my camera , but they had so many other things . It was almost like a Walmart super store ! The electronics shop was small but I got SD cards for a super good discount . Better than Amazon price . They had all other groceries and daily use items . They also had wine/ beer etc. service was good . Billing was also quick . Liked it overall... read more

Looking for Super Bowl supplies they have them. I went in for deli salads and lunch meat for my client. Apparently it was not good to I g. There were two employees having a serious conversation and it was more important than acknowledging me or wanting to wait on me. I started to walk away but I waited a good 3 minutes just like g at them and they did not seem to care. The store was very busy and no one e else was in the deli are beside those tow guys. Well when one of them with an attitude looked at me I pointed to what I wanted and the. He wanted to o refill the container. I said that's enough just a small amount, he slammed it in the counter and turned to his friend with a smirk. I asked about another item and then said you know what never mind I don't deserve to be treated this way. I walked out and left all the items I was going v to purchase because of his rudeness. I'm sure I will n er return to this location. It was very dirty and not good and very expensive. I hope the employee gets his attitude together and does not treat others this way. My mom and I stopped at this Bothell Fred Meyer on Friday the 5th of February 2021 to get some miscellaneous supplies after stopping by the Bothell Feed Center to get some feed for the birds and other backyard critters. The store is well laid out and the aisles as well as sections within the store are well labeled. The ceilings are tall which is nice because it allows for signage indicating different sections of the store such as household, groceries, and hygiene. Each aisle had its own signage as well. The floor plan and aisle spacing made movement easy even with others in the aisle, not too tight a fit. Workers were friendly and warm in their interactions, and merchandise prices were good. We found everything we were looking for except for Gouda and a specific type of razor heads. Apples were in abundance in the produce section and the Gala Apples I picked out were perfectly ripe and taste delicious. The other apples looked fresh as well. Bathroom and household cleaning supplies were straightforward in finding. The parking lot is large and easy to maneuver in and out of in a compact car and the restrooms were very nice and open even in these COVID-19 times when my mom and I stopped. In the women's restroom at least the doors were full length which is nice in preventing uncontrolled children from peeping on you by putting their head under the door without your consent while using the restroom. I appreciate the store's respect of its customers' privacy. read more

1st time to a Fred Meyers. They don't have these in CA near me. Prices were not inexpensive and the ambience is different with a hodgepodge of stuff. This location felt like an older store. The neighborhood and parking lot felt dated. They do have self check out line which is good. read more

Today I was tricked by their marketing. I thought I would receive $10 off a bottle of Bailey's if I purchased a second bottle. Turns out I didn't read all the fine print, which required me to go through an online process that didn't work for me. I asked the manager if Fred Myer would honor the deal and they said, "no." $10 is a lot of money, even Fred Myer won't give up $10 to make a customer happy. This really irked me, and in my frustration over the store's pettiness I ended up not buying the bottles. read more

99% of the time this store is great but today we had a miscommunication with a member who works at the north end of check out. The associate became frustrated easily after not being able to explain an exchange process to us, and SNATCHED the item from my hands. It was VERY OFFENSIVE. We are very UPSET with this action. Fred Meyer pharamacy - over an hour to get four people covid and flu shots. Only one family of two people in front of us. Not acceptable.

BEWARE, when using the f/m app, the price of the digital coupon on the tag under the product may not be the price you are charged! you frequently will be charged the regular price. i was over charged $2 for a bag of coffee. if i wanted a refund, that is the advertised digital coupon price, i would need to stand on line for probably 30 minutes in a long line at customer service. i've reported bait & switch pricing to a f/m manager to no avail. guess i just have to stop shopping there, the problem continues. just beware, double check if you are using digital coupons. I would like to see one of the happy cartoon FM shoppers, on their TV commercial, realize they were overcharged and go stand on a long line to get their $$ back. Truth in advertising! read more

This is my go-to Fred Meyer as I live right across the street. Friendly staff, good enough selection, but I have one complaint: the hot food section is SEVERELY struggling and has been for years. It's a roll of the dice to see if it'll be open, sometimes it closes early, and when you finally do catch it open they have an extremely slim selection compared to other Fred Meyers and the food is always overcooked to the point of being inedible. Sometimes the workers will be standing around doing nothing but there will be nothing in the hot food case. Whenever I ask about it they say there's an inventory management issue. Last time I actually bought food from the hot food section it was a pizza stick that was burnt to a crips and the inside/filling was all dried up. I ended up tossing it, I couldn't eat it. They really need to get their inventory system/management under control when it comes to this as it's been this way for years and the store doesn't seem to care enough to fix the ongoing issues. So why even have a hot food section at all? read more

This is my "home" Fred Meyer- I come here a few times a month either for grocery shopping or to grab a random item. Everyone is friendly and aside from some long checkout lines, I always have a good experience here. I even ordered my toddlers 2nd birthday cake from here last month and everyone commented on how cute it was- and it was only $20! Score. Today I tried Clicklist for the very first time and I was SO impressed. I will be using that again for sure- it was so easy! read more

Upgrading to two stars as I've noticed improvements - I haven't had to stand in line for price corrections at customer svc for two straight months, ad items are occasionally stocked, and I really appreciate the earth friendly change removing paper ad coupons. However, Fred Meyer continues to recklessly, uselessly and needlessly deploy more and more items in earth-killing plastic. WHY are we now wrapping 4 cans together in single-use throw-away plastic, when its a simple thing to change pricing in software if we buy 4? Why are we wrapping baking-potatoes and fruit in plastic? The 'click-list' fiasco angers me with the 'Click-list only' coupons, and the employees clogging the aisles with their monster 'Click list' carts. Laughably the 'Simple Truth' brand items dont incorporate earth-friendly packaging. The issue of stocking (and keeping things stocked) AD ITEMS continues to be a problem. read more

This place is gross. No social distancing, people working standing close to each other and close to me. No one wiping down the carts, nor the card reader, nor the self checkout or any other surfaces. I had to ask for them to wipe down the self checkout before using, which put me in an awkward situation. People are walking around with no masks. This is a huge contrast to grocery stores who take health and safety of their workers and customers seriously, such as Trader Joe's, Costco, and Whole Foods. To make it worse, their pick up options are unreliable and expensive. read more

They sell expired food. I bought a bag of Pita Chips on JULY 27th that expired on JUNE 29th. I didn't realize this until I got home. I was told to drive back to the store, in 4pm traffic, for a refund. What?! I was also told they have a "system" that notifies them when food has expired. Well clearly that system is broken and the employees are lazy. How do you not touch a section of your grocery store for at least a MONTH?! read more

Fred Meyer Pharmacy is running a scam on COVID-19 vaccines. They tried to turn me and my wife away for not having insurance cards on us when we arrived for our appointments for our second shots. We didn't need our cards when we got our first shots at a different place. We weren't even asked about insurance for the first shots. The appointment confirmation email says to bring your card if applicable. For COVID-19, it's not applicable. Taxpayers paid for the development of the shots and paid for the distribution when they became available. We paid for everything but Fred Meyer wants to make some money on top. I offered to pay cash but they wouldn't take the money because they're not allowed to charge for the COVID shots. What they're supposed to do is bill the government for an 'administration fee' if someone doesn't have insurance or proof of insurance, but the government probably pays a lower rate than a private insurance company. However, if Fred Meyer can't bill an insurance company (as was the case with us), they would rather have us leave without getting the shot. They finally agreed to provide us with shots when I made a scene. We are fortunate because we work from home and didn't have to take the day off or anything like that. What about people who had to take time off work but got turned away for not having insurance? Will they try again or simply go back into society unvaccinated and put others at risk? It's not their fault as they tried to do the right thing. Rather, it's the fault of Fred Meyer who's trying to run a scam and get that COVID money $$$ I wonder how many people have tried to get shots and got turned away by Fred Meyer while 600,000 Americans have died? I bought a product from this store for $44.98 but when I got home the item was missing. I called the store to find out if the cashier still has it. The customer service who answered the phone told me to come back to the store with my receipt so that I will get a refund or replacement. When I showed up in the store with my receipt, the customer service representative looked at me suspiciously and refused to give me a replacement or refund. I complained to the head quarter and the store manager, Jennifer was advised to contact me and the resolved the issue. She never did but on my second call they connected me with her but she was rude and unethical. She treated me disrespectfully, some not expected from a store manager. First she said to me the packager put it in the shopping bag then she said to me she put it in the box. Two different stories. When I called first I did not ask for replacement, I simply want to find out if the cashier still has my purchase. If the answer was NO, that was the end of it. I would not bother to drive back 6 miles to the store. I would not go back to Fred Meyer store again specially when such racial profiling attitude is clearly seen in their employees on top of their pricy products. read more

Blah. I don't know why I assumed this Fred Meyer would be set up the same as the one in Snohomish....but I did. Because of that I parked all the way to the left thinking I was walking in to a Starbucks and the produce department. Haven't I learned with this foot issue that I will always be the furthest from where I need to be? Anyway, they had a big sidewalk sale going on, the store was pretty clean, and they have alot of different things to choose from. I'm not a Fred Meyer fan in general, only ran in for one thing (nasty fried onion crispy things for my bf). I finally found them....and there was only one choice (most grocery stores sell more than one brand) so it was pricy for just that. Then I remembered Travis (the squirrel outside that has adopted us) he's been out of nuts. I swear I saw him recruiting the crows to come harass us (and I've seen the movie Furry Vengeance) so I went on the hunt for peanuts. Thankfully they were on sale (since I paid so much for crispy onions). Looking around they had beautiful treats in the bakery, fresh olive bar, deli, even sushi. Prices don't blow me away there. And idk what it is about the store in general I just don't care for, just never been a fan. A few employees were friendly...a few not so much. Just a long walk to get 2 things. read more

PRODUCE REVIEW: don't buy here! I witnessed a produce worker, "Mariah", walk up to the Roma tomato bin and start tossing tomatoes from the bottom of the rack up to the top. Each one landed with a thud, then she threw another. She threw about 4-5 tomatoes then saw me staring at her and asked if I have a question. Yes... wondering why you're throwing the tomatoes?! "Mariah" said she was "just cooling them by removing the top layer". I told her she's bruising the tomatoes she's tossing (DUH!) and now someone like me is going to get bruised tomatoes! Then "Mariah" changed her story and said she was taking out the bad ones, and grabbed three tomatoes to show me (BTW, they looked fine, since she hadn't thrown them yet). My questioning and her ridiculous answers went on for a full minute or so, until I finally walked away from the futility and frustration. "Mariah" then hollered at me sarcastically, "Have a nice day!" Yes, "Mariah" I will. And you should be fired. Fred Meyer is *not* the only grocery store selling produce, you know?! I'll go somewhere else for produce, thanks to "Mariah"! read more

So I used to live smack dab in between the two Lynnwood Fred Meyers. And because of that I HATED Fred Meyer. They were always super busy, crowded, took forever to checkout and the people there were rude. Not here. I have been caught wandering with a confused look on my face more than a few times here (still learning the store) and each time I was greeted by an employee to direct me where to go. I have yet to NOT find what I am looking for and parking hasn't ever been a problem. The only thing I found that sucks is getting back onto Bothell Everett Highway going north....just have to go to the stop light....don't try to merge it's not worth it. read more

Today I had to pick up my medication and go to Fred Meyer Pharmacy. I was the only one standing in the line and it took fifteen minutes for the pharmacist to show up to hand over my medication. There was another pharmacist working in the drop-off and probably the manager and he did not alert the staff to come and serve the pickup line and there is no way I can ring a bell or something to indicate I am in line. When I asked the staff for an explanation, she said she was busy inside and they are understaffed. Total waste of time. read more

My review for their produce section is long overdue and deserving of accolades. I've had it in my mind that buying organic produce is simply unrealistic given the prices as seen at other specialist organic supermarkets. So I've been pleasantly surprised when I saw the reasonable prices here. In addition, a really nice selection. To put things in perspective, you won't be finding speciality items like turmeric, but all the greens and regular stuff is great and always fresh! What I like is their offer for a free snack for kids while shopping. Choose from a banana or apple. That tells me that they really care about your shopping experience and want you to stay longer lol. A plus for me is their reserved electric vehicle charging stations in their parking lot. A nice feature, however don't be too surprised if a non electric vehicle hogs this spot (you know who are are!) All in all, my go to store now and I'm a loyal customer. read more

If you live in this area, THIS is the place to shop. For groceries, while I sometimes find selection limiting, their prices always blow competitors out of the water. For example: Turkey Bacon: Safeway $3.69, Freddies $2.19 Amy's Cheese Enchiladas: PCC $4.69 on sale, Freddies 2.37 on sale Clothing: Asics Phoenix running shoes: Foot Locker $99 on sale. Freddies $32.99 on sale. Good bakery, nice wine selection, good size organic/health foods section. Fred Meyers has phenomenal sales and pretty decent home, garden, and sporting goods departments. If you are looking for a general item, you will likely find it here at a reasonable price. This particular location is the nicest I have been to. It's huge, easy to navigate, and clean. The parking can be a pain, but it doesn't deter me from making this my favorite spot for one-stop shopping. read more

This particular location has a very strange layout and to make things worse they change things around A LOT! They also carry and discontinue items very frequently. I think there have been 10 times where I was super excited they carried an item only to find the next time I'm in that they have stopped carrying it now. They're lines are extremely slow and you can only have about 2 carts before the aisle is completely blocked and there's no where to go. The parking lot is horrible but they can't change that, if I reviewed them based on parking lot as well I would be giving them a 1star ‍ They do have great prices comparatively and that is why I continue to punish myself and shop here. read more

This Freddie's has some issues. While I live in Bothell I try to avoid this location. Before I get started there is one positive thing they have going for them and that's their employees. They're friendly and hardworking. This store can be crazy busy and they just plug along, if there's a hold up I've noticed it's almost always the customer that does it. Okay, their parking lot. NOOOO. Really though, what is it about Fred Meyer parking lots, they're all pretty bad, but this one is one of the worst. This is a small Fred Meyer. It's kind of the teenaged version of Freddie's. Another positive, I like their garden department, but then I'm an obsessed gardener so garden departments usually make me happy. Their shoe, clothing, cheap furniture and other departments are pretty small for a regular Freddie's. And then there's the fact that they're always busy and there's that parking lot again. I love this location, close to home, clean, friendly faces, good selection. I love Clicklist, though I think the name was changed to Fred Meyer Pick up...either way I love being able order online and pick up that same day or a future day. I don't do it all the time but it comes in handy. I tend to do this on Fridays, the end of a work week and I have zero desire to go shopping. Stop by and pick everything up on my way home. All the employee's at pick up are so friendly and helpful. The parking lot can be dangerous, not really their fault, though maybe some speed bumps would help. Since the remodel entering the main doors to the left is a little awkward. You have to go through the card aisel or around by the seasonal section...though many walk through the self check out...just a weird set up. All in all I enjoy shopping here. read more

This is a popular place, so it's always packed. That said, it's well-liked for a reason. The unionized employees are friendly, helpful and care about their work. The produce and meat are fresh and fantastic! Not all that impressed with their bakery- area for improvement. I do feel like the grocery dept is better than their clothing, electronics and/or other departments. And the food prices are insanely good, while great deals are harder to find in other aisles. I've had great experiences here, and my grocery dollar goes way further than one might expect. I'm a happy Freddy regular! read more
