This shopper should be fired. He was late, then put the food on the ground. Reviewed my order from QFC on Bothell-Everett Hwy, has terrible customer service and lacks people working. Told him, he had given me someone else order and I told him this is not my order. He said, I have to pickup my son, he left telling me to keep the food. Problem I had with him, he doesn't speak or understand English. I reported him to Instacart Customer service. read more

Our daughter placed her order for multiple deli items worth almost $200 for our grandson's birthday party. Their ordering system is so messed up that on the day of pick up, we were told that they did not receive her order. On their site, they indicated that her orders were received with a confirmation number but we were told otherwise. That sent all of us into a panic mode esp. guests are starting to arrive and we have no party platters, chicken wings, etc. to serve. Haven't been to any QFCs after pandemic since we moved north of Renton. I shop utensil & liquor here on several occasions like a gathering bachelorette or friends hangout. Great fruit selections with reasonable prices compare to Safeway or Albertson's. However the floral department needs attention as few type of violets are frequently missing, besides that nothing to be complained about. Keep it up Kroger you can provide better! read more

Awful customer service. There are different policies and procedures for each customer that I don't understand very inconsistent. There is high turnover there. I will not be returning to QFC. Or any branch of QFC. Not that that matters because I don't think they want me as a client anyway because I'm dissatisfied with their service. It's really not a loss to them at all. It's actually a loss to me and my kids. Grocery stores are supposed to be a place for the community and to provide nourishment and resources to families. This branch of QFC is subpar in their mission and goals for this particular community as the population growth is rising. I am observing that they're not meeting. Recently I have had a number of experiences shopping here and no checkers. If I wanted to go through a self check I would go somewhere with much lower prices or just shop online. But my main complaint is this is the third time in a row I have gone down there around 5 p.m. and there is no warm deli food. Half the deli stuff out on the shelves is out. Half this store looks like its been picked through and no one restocks items needed. The deli and produce mostly. When I asked the manager he just looked at me and apologized. Boy.... that did me lots of good. Nothing but excuses. Let's take the Q out of QFC and call it what it is........... just another food center. read more

I really enjoy this QFC. Most of the grocery staff is very friendly and caring. There's an employee named Yvonne who seems to be the exception. She repeatedly harassed my husband for days straight as he walked our dog past the grocery store. There's also a homeless man that refuses to wear a mask and occupies the bench on the side of the teriyaki shop. He's harassed both myself and my husband regarding my dogs medical condition on repeated occasions. Today I saw him cussing and using profanity while in the grocery store about the restroom being closed. No one said anything to him and allowed his behavior while in the store. I've reported him to both the grocery store manager and the city. Nothing has been done. I will continue to report him. My understanding was that daily loitering was not allowed. We have shopped at the Bothell QFC for more years than we can count. Today my 88 year old dad attempted to shop on his own for 3 items...it appears QFC doesn't have any check stands open besides self check at 8:20 pm. This is ridiculous, first he doesn't normally do the shopping but my mom broke her arm so he is running the errands. Do better....you can't assume everyone knows how to do self-check. When I worked at QFC many moons ago we were required to call customer by Mr. And Mrs. now you've allowed your employees to not even serve customers. Horrible customer service...I always thought you took pride in customer service however I've seen a huge change in recent years. read more

I went to QFC today and I saw a sale on Bone I ribeye steaks buy one get one free. So I bought one providing one for free. When I went to check out the checkout clerk forgot to put one of the ribeyes in my bag until I acknowledged it. Hey after the fact I really thought she was trying to steal it from me. When I went to check outshe charged me twice for two steaks instead of getting me one more for free . I have found QFC has tried to cheat me in the past and will never shop there again! read more

Decent selection at this tiny location. I didn't even know they were back here until last weekend. Easy in and out and folks practicing social distancing. Not as good of a flower selection as other QFC locations but still lived up to the high quality standard I come to expect from this Kroger chain. read more

This review is not based on QFC specifically but rather their INSTACART service. I ordered a grocery delivery for my mother. Specific instructions were left for the delivery person. My mother's first and last name, apartment number and instructions to leave the delivery outside her apartment door. Remember, name, apartment number were given in the special instructions. I called to see if she had got her groceries; they had not been delivered but Instacart showed they had been delivered so I called them. The delivery person left them on the sidewalk outside her apartment building!!! Who does that? They had her name, phone number, apartment number. By the time I found out where they were left, the groceries were no longer there!! I called QFC, they had me call INSTACART where the person was basically, too bad, we can't do anything. I was told to call QFC again which I did; they gave me another number to call where I was told they could not talk to me about this because I am not my mother! I explained she was ill and not capable of calling, but I was told they could not talk to me. So, I have had to place an order for me to go pick up in my area and take them to my mom. We've had to pay twice now for the same groceries. My mom and I are both regular customers at QFC and have used Instacart multiple times. Really disappointed in the lack of help with this situation. INSTACART makes it difficult to leave a review strictly for them. read more

Ugh. I never learn, apparently. Recently, to grab a sales item, and because my mom shops here, I ventured in again. I actually do go here often, I'm just usually following mom around playing on my phone, not spending any of my money, so I don't care. So. Sale item. Metromint water. Now..... Where would YOU look for this product. The aisle containing soda/beer, mixers and various flavored drinks-including *some* brands of flavored/enhahnced water? you'd be wrong. Another aisle where juice and- for some reason- a few more brands of vitamin waters are contained? You'd be wrong again. How about on the far end of the store, in the produce department, on one small shelf next to only gallons of plain water? (you know, like you're supposed to have in your car trunk and pantry in case of zombie apocalypse and such). Beverages are split up over 4 different areas. Water (flavored) is split up over THREE different aisles that are not even close to each other. It makes absolutely NO sense to me. And, they had less than 30 bottles total. I asked. Refused rain check and nothing in the back. On the first day of the sale. So I bought 28, I left the 2 lemon ones behind. And they are still routinely more expensive than any other store in the area. read more

THIS REVIEW IS SPECIFICALLY POINTED AT THE DELI STAFF -- TWICE now this has happened to me where I have been ignored. I was clearly standing in line behind an older gentleman who had just been helped. Once he left, I came forward and the lady just walked away. SERIOUSLY?! There were four other workers behind the deli section and I was clearly standing there needing to be helped. I waited for 5 mins before just walking away. Another time this happened to me where I was clearly needing helped standing right in front of the cash register. Maybe because I am a younger woman? My husband and I have been shopping here for about 2 years and love the customer service. Everyone is very kind and have always helped us find those odd ingredients when trying a new recipe. The manager of the produce section even special ordered pickling cucumbers for me in winter. WHOA! Talk about awesome sauce. Everything at QFC seems to be about $1.00 more. The quality of the food is higher for sure, but I see some red flags at this store. Last time I went in a few months ago to find some infant tylenol and I asked a clerk for assistance. I was friendly and respectful and the clerk told me a wives tale about how you shouldn't give babies tylenol. I said our Dr recommended it and our baby class instructor did also. He still went on and on. Dude... check your facts next time. He was able to help me locate the correct isle and he was kind and friendly. I had to find the exact tylenol location myself... there was alot of shelves to go through. The floors aren't finished here..(they are polished concrete LOL) and the place is kind of a "cave" without much windows/lighting. Very strange for a QFC. read more

The Starbucks in the store had the friendliest staff. I preferred getting my coffee here than at the actual Starbucks across the way. Also, the wine tasting on Friday nights was off the charts. Not sure they still do it though since I moved. read more

As far as QFC's go, this one is way less than you'd expect- especially considering you're still paying more than any other area groceries. It's less organized, less friendly- with one exception.. The bakery! Maddy is super sweet and will help you find what you're looking for (or super-delicious things you didn't even know you needed!). She's a doll- just visit the bakery if you swing by this QFC and you'll leave happy (and prepared for a major sugar rush). =] read more

I have frequent occasion to visit this store in the very early hours of the morning. I know the night crew is extremely busy stocking etcetera, but they are always Johnny on the spot when it comes to helping me find something or checking out. Jeez, recent reviews make this place sound terrible! Let me be the one to say, I LOVE this QFC. Love it. I have never had a bad experience. It's always clean, I always find great deals on meat, the reduced price produce bin is my favourite thing ever, and the beer selection is pretty solid for a grocery store. The Beer Guy knows his stuff and is happy to recommend what he has and to order what he doesn't. The Produce Guys (special shout out to Bob, who remembers my name!) are absolutely amazing and so friendly. Every cashier is courteous at worst and absolutely charming at best. This is the kind of store that feels like a mom and pop grocery store instead of a chain. I always walk in knowing that I will be taken care of by the competent staff. read more

So, I've gone to this QFC for as long as I can remember. Of course, my memory these days isn't nearly as strong as it used to be (so I'm happy if I remember what I did last week), but I do know that this QFC is as old as dirt and I grew up right up the street from it, so it was kind of the old stand-by. It's the QFC my parents would drag the sled to when we needed groceries and it was snowing. It was the QFC where we high schoolers would pick up flowers or balloons for our friend, who happened to be having a birthday. It was the go-to grocery store because it was local, convienent, and less scary than Safeway. That said, unless you knew the layout of the store, finding anything was a nightmare. Things would be in the strangest locations and without any real reason for them being there. (As someone who knows the store well, this never bothered me but I heard more than one person complain...) However, they recently had a grand re-opening after some major remodeling. The remodel was a good thing. No, really, it was...because now there's SUSHI in there. Not the crummy Seattle/California rolls that we're used to seeing chilling with the cheeses and salsas, but an actual sushi kiosk, if you will, in which there is more of a choice than there used to be and it looks...dare I say...quasi-fresh. There's also an olive bar and a soup bar. A SOUP BAR! We're movin' on up. So this is why a store that would have been around a 2.5 star rating turned into a 4 star rating. I love this QFC! Everyone is so helpful and nice. There is good variety including ethnic foods. The cashiers work fast and efficiently. The manager is very accessible and helpful. The QFC is small, but has an ok selection. The one thing I have noticed the last couple of times I have been in is that they are getting really cheap about the bags. The other day we went in and got salad fixings, and about 20 yogurts and other items and we asked for paper (after she asked about three times if we wanted plastic and we kept saying no, paper). She put the salad in the bottom and all the heavy yogurts on top which squished the lettuce completely. She put everything in one bag and it was way too heavy. She seemed really put off that we wanted paper. We found it so odd! read more

I swear Every time I come here looking for flowers there is NEVER anyone willing to help. Today yet again I asked for help to have some flowers wrapped for a birthday present. I'm sorry Riss had such a bad experience at our local QFC. She apparently has not had the pleasure of meeting the resident Cheese Lady! Nosha the Cheese Lady makes everything all right when you come to her cheese stand. She will sample you the most amazing cheesy delicacies you have ever tried. She has these wafer thin crackers and tops them with an amazing cheese and a dollop of fig spread. It is heavenly! And she even has a sampler basket of cheeses cut to around $4 or less. The rest of the store is really nice since the remodel. I have to agree with Riss & Kelsey that occasionally I can't find something and it's in a weird place. But the store staff have always been more than helpful in trying to help me find what I am looking for. For me what keeps me coming back is the customer service at this store. The best example I can give is the time I had all my household bills with me (had been to the bank and the mailbox place). I still am not sure why I had them in the store with me. But they were in a little cloth bag. And at checkout I guess I forgot the cloth bag and left. Since paying my bills is not fun I certainly didn't miss my little cloth bag because I hadn't begun work on my bills yet. Well about 2 days later I got a knock on my front door. It was the QFC store manager! My bag had been found at the register and she saw that it was some idiot's bills and important paperwork, so she peeked at the address and drove them home to me! I was shocked because of course, I didn't even know they were missing yet. But what kind of awesome customer service is that???!!!! I was amazed and overjoyed that she would drive all the way to my house to return it to me. That sealed my food shopping loyalty to QFC. I only otherwise shop at TJ's for food. read more

I come here when I forget my lunch at home. Yes, that's quite a bit. They have a great selection of healthy food that isn't just from the deli. Their traditional deli/lunch offering is what you'd expect. They even have some fruit/cheese combos that rival SBUX on cost and quality. I typically grab a yogurt, lift a spoon from the soup area, and get something fruit related in produce. Their checkout lines are all teller-run. No luck finding the self-checkout here. read more

I shop at this store about 4 days a week. I was in tonight and was not impressed. Normally I am greeted and helped by several friendly people. I had finished checking out and thought I would get a coffee. The barista was not there (maybe on a break). I have no problem with her. I only maybe waited 2 minutes and she made my coffee. My problem is with the bagger boy with an attitude. He walked by and said to her "way to be a QFC employee". When I asked her if he was being funny, she said no. She was obviously embarassed and I felt bad for her. Was that nessesary? I am in the customer service industry and really hope that you can teach your team to work together. I really am surprised by this little QFC. It's in downtown (old town) Bothell on Bothell Wy. It shares the lot with a strip mall, Spartas (yum), Starbucks etc. It may be small but it's clean and well appointed. The employees here are friendlier than other QFC's in the area. If I have an option I hit this one up before the Canyon Park one.... it's not as much of a zoo but still has the selection, like sushi etc. read more

Someone needs to better maintain their beer department. All the IPAs are old and just plain bad. I enjoy the selection but they sit on the shelf [apparently] too long. I'd rather they stock fewer bottles of each label and risk them being out, then for tons of bottles to sit there and get old. I am mad that I continue to try to buy fresh beer here. 90% of the time, the hops are spent and the beer is crap. It's a bad impression to be giving consumers that don't know about IPA shelf life! read more

Pros: - Really good produce - Super close to the house - decent beer selection - Staff is super friendly, really helpful, and takes the time to get to know their community - Occasional wine tastings! Cons: - lighter on the overall natural/organic selection. I head to the Canyon Park QFC for anything particular that I need. - Definitely a bit of an older building- floors are squeaky clean but have been in there for a bit. - SUPER limited cheese selection. Any issues I have with this QFC are due to its size- they simply can't fit the same amount of items that the Canyon Park QFC can.
