Unbelievable that after all these years Bartell can't provide the same level of service provided as previously. Shame on you, Rite Aid. Update to this review: Even though my doctor called in this refill 3 weeks ago, it went to the Rite Aid refill center and was hung up in processing. The "lovely" person at the counter told me (after I told her I was not upset with her but with her awful company) that it was a holiday weekend. Okay....please get your stuff together. 3 weeks is long enough to fill a prescription. I keep hoping it will get better here, but this kind of service is terrible. read more

We've been using this Bartells for over 5 years, and at this point are just at our absolute limit. The pharmacy is one of the worst I've ever encountered. Prescriptions often take days. It's common to get texts saying prescriptions are ready and then come in to find out they're not. If you call to submit a refill through their automated service, the date and time are never honored so you shouldn't even bother. And the drive thru...it was closed for months. And now that it's open, it might as well not exist. The staff will walk by you in the window with zero acknowledgment for excessive period of time. I've been stuck between two cars waiting for as long as 40 min and waited at the window to be acknowledged for as much as 30. It's utterly unbelievable. read more

I don't even know where to start. My entire family has tried to make this pharmacy work for us since it is just around the corner, but going there and speaking to literally anyone behind that counter is a chore. From loudly announcing what medications I was there for, to being rude and racist to my immigrant mother, to not filling medications despite receiving them from the doctor, everyone there is INCOMPETENT. So rude, disrespectful, unhelpful, and just flat out menaces. They will NEVER accept fault, even when there is literally NO ONE ELSE TO BLAME BUT THEM. I have given so much grace and kindness to them over the years but I am done. Fire all of them, hire new staff, shut this location down at this point. Absolutely ridiculous. This rating is really just for their pharmacy. It's a mess. They are constantly behind filling prescriptions (you have to call multiple times after your doctor submits), they are always staffed with at least three to four people but constantly slow. I sat in drive through at the window for over ten minutes while watching them look at me but not even asking me to hold on or to give them a minute. I don't know - it could just be so much more efficient and customer oriented. read more

So if you need a prescription filled in any kind of timely manner, do not go here. It takes 24-48 hours to fill prescriptions. It is completely ridiculous for it to take that long. Isn't the whole point to have it within 4 hours? Are you that backed up or is it the 2 hours you take for lunch and completely shut down. Not even worth the 1 star at this location. I have been getting my prescriptions for more than 10 years at this location and never faced any issue. All my prescriptions were filled with in an hour. But now, this store is really worse and the prescription is not ready even after 10 hours and the person at the counter is really rude and asking me to is it really needed tonight and asking me to call and come to the store next time. This has been happening since last 3 months. May be it's time to switch to another pharmacy now. read more

I would say if your medication is important and you cannot go a couple days or a week without them skip this pharmacy. The amount of times ive had to restart medication because they couldn't fill it or forgot to place the order is wild. Youll get a text saying its ready, go in and wait 15 minutes in line just for them to say oh sorry its not ready yet.... They are friendly thou so thats nice. read more

Bothell Everett Hwy & 180th This is by far the worst pharmacy ever! Incredibly slow service (drive through and counter). All pharmacy employees would benefit from re-training on customer service (face-to-face and over phone). And if anyone is wondering why their drive through is closed, I was just informed that it's because "There is only 3 of us working today and we can't even keep up with the front". I understand that this is a busy time of year but they have been incredibly rude and slow for a year now and their drive through has been closed for at least 2 weeks. The management should really look into this location and make some changes! read more

My daughter picks up my meds because I can't drive due to injury. She was treated badly by the pharmacist who insinuated she was doing something illegal with my meds. I am almost 80 so again insinuated maybe I couldn't handle pill's myself,and she was taking my pills for misuse. Lots of sideways glances ,humiliating her in a long line of people. They will now treat us with great suspicion. Notes in our files. we have got our prescriptions there since the place was built!!! It was a very stressful day for both of us. I was out of pills. They wanted to make me wait several days more. My doctor stepped in and told them to fill my prescription NOW. I was out of pills. They were grudgingly filled. My daughter was in line once for 40 mins!!! Two ill people had to sit down on floor. I think I might change pharmacies. it's been worse since Rite Aide bought it. read more

I have been waiting to write this because I was a little enraged and didn't want to say anything too mean. Late Saturday night I went in with my wife to buy some snacks as we were heading to a friends place. I walked in and noticed there were some Pokemon tins that were a cool collectible item. The lady working at checkout came to open the locked display and I said that these were pretty cool and worth something, is there a limit on how many I can buy, as I figured there was. She said 2 per customer, me having my wife I thought cool, she can buy 2 and I can buy 2. The lady said no we could not, which is really weird and different from any other place I have been to. We are two separate people but I didn't say anything about it. Anyways, I go through check out and she makes a weird comment about how she feels bad for the kids. I thought it was weird and a little annoying to say but I didn't really care and bought my stuff and said I would just come in later, as in obviously the next day as it was 7 at night. She then decided to be weird again and say "well not tonight, right?", again not the worst thing but just really weird way to talk to people. So, I come in the next day, which was Sunday (03.12.23) at about 2 pm with my wife to buy a couple more of these little tins. We thought with how the cashier lady was acting, that the 2 item per customer limit would probably be different with a different cashier. We walk in and there is a guy this time working. So he was nice enough to come by and unlock it, my wife and I pick 2 items each and no one says anything. We then go pick out more groceries and we see that the same lady from the night before must have just started and replaced the guy, which I'm like "ughhh, here we go." So because it was her, we decide that I should just buy my two tins and she can finish up shopping and then try to buy her tins. I go through, the cashier immediately says, "so, you're just going to come in every day?" Again, a weird thing to say, so im like yup. She then says for the second night in a row, "well I just feel bad for the children." Now that im accustomed to this lady, I just ignore the comment and move on. I go to the ezells next door to order takeout, as my wife was still picking out some items. This is where i became incredibly angry. I found out that when my pregnant wife went through, that the cashier asked if she was with me, my wife said yes and the lady said she could not get the two tins. My wife said the display said two items a customer and if that was the case, it should be changed to say 2 per house hold, which if we are being honest wouldn't work, either way I don't really care about the rule, if we can't buy the items, then it is what it is and we would move on. However, the lady brings her manager over, and in front of a line of people said "well I just think it's mean to do to children". She says this to my pregnant wife, who immediately cries when I see her because she's so embarrassed and the pregnancy hormones. With that being said, I found her to be terribly unprofessional. I also am fairly sure the two items per customer should let the wife and I both buy two items and to me it seems that this is probably her opinion of adults collecting Pokemon. This place is right next to where we live and after this experience, the wife and I will never be coming back to this bartells, which I think the lady will be happy to know, that way we will not be harming any children... read more

This is one of the worst pharmacies I have ever had the displeasure of using. I called to have an rx filled on Friday night to be picked up at 10am the following day. It wasn't ready. "Go home and you'll get a text when it's ready." No text comes. I go in Sunday morning to get my rx - "It's not available and will be ready in 30-40 minutes..." Absolutely abysmal service. read more

What a shame, this store and Pharmacy used to be great. Now taking days to fill common prescriptions and zero communication or ownership from store managers and pharmacy staff. Prescription sent at 4pm to them, they called my wife at 5 for a question which was resolved. The woman who called said it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I went to the store at 6:30 and there were 7 cars in the drive through line and 6 people in line in the store. I took 45 minutes to get to the counter only to find out it wasn't ready. When I asked when it would be, the clerk just said "not today". I asked for a manager on duty, who then just simply said he couldn't do anything but I was welcome to talk to the store manager tomorrow. I have now called central customer service and they referred my complaint to a district manager who will call me in "24-48" hours. Meanwhile, still no timeline for my prescription. Totally unacceptable for a critical component in healthcare to be this incompetant. read more

If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. I have lived down the street from this store for decades and used this pharmacy for as long as I can remember. However, in the last year or so, they have become impossible to work with. If you refill in the app, nothing is ever ready by the time you picked. You will wait multiple days beyond what you chose, only to find out they don't have it and you have to wait even longer so they can order it. Even if you have been getting the same monthly medication from this store for YEARS, they will still be out of it and have to order it. Every month. If your doctor puts in a prescription for you, you will need to call to tell them to fill it. My doctor put in a refill on 2/26, and it is now 3/6 with no word from the store on if they even received it. If you somehow manage to get through on the phone and they tell you a prescription will be ready on a specific day/time, it won't. And they won't be able to fill it while you're there to pick it up when they told you to be there, they will make you come back a different day. If you can go anywhere else, do it! Avoid this Bartell's at all costs! read more

WORST PHARMACY EVER! How can you not answer the pharmacy phone? People need their medications. This is just CRAZY to me.

Over a week now. Sill no meds. Daughter, friend and I all tried to get our prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy as we need our meds. But... Since they won't answer the phone, we can't do that either. Once again, I went in, gave them the phone number for the other pharmacy, and...nothing. This was my go-to Pharmacy for 6 years. Christina, the pharmacy manager, saved me when I was having a bad side effect (heart issues) from a medication that my prescribing provider had no clue about. I absolutely love her. Now a days, drive-thru is closed; no one answers the phone; long lines in the store. I worried the pharmacy would go downhill since it was bought by Rite Aid. I know that we are in a pandemic and I understand that Bartell Is now under new ownership, bu their service has just completely diminished and it's probably because of staffing issues. I just recently moved here from a different location and have been trying to contact the other locations to get my prescription transferred here to this location with no luck, they simply do not pick up the phone and just allow the phones to ring and ring and ring you can literally call any of their pharmacies and I'm sure you may get one out of 10 to pick up. I was recently let go of my job and my last day for benefits was today the 15th I come to the counter after being at several other locations which were closed and I cannot assist me that day, so again I am pleased that they are willing to talk to me. It starts up normal by me informing her that I just moved here and I need to have my prescriptions filled as it was my last day of insurance coverage and that I had some prescriptions at different locations she looked them up and said I can give you two out of the three that one is on hold... A contact the other location they actually do pick up and they say no I see all three prescriptions available if you'd like I can speak to them now I go back to the counter the lady at this point looks over and says I can't do anything about it you're gonna have to wait I get back on the phone I tell the gentleman I'm sorry is there maybe a pharmacist available he said I am the actual pharmacist and I'm looking at your stuff on the computer all three are available so I go back to the counter and I say ma'am I have him on the phone what would you like me to do she looks at me and says I don't know I have two for you and the other needs to be looked at by the pharmacist. I end my phone call with The other location and wait around for about five minutes then go back to the counter and say ma'am I just want to know what is happening and who do I need to talk to to find out about the third medicine she rolls her eyes hunches over the counter and says you can wait like I said are you can leave we close in about 20-30 minutes. I said OK I want to leave and maybe I can pick him up a different day then I hear her huff and puff so now I get scared and I just go over to the waiting area which is where I took the picture and I can hear her laughing and discussing how people are so annoying especially old people and why is it their fault as to what she's talking about I have no idea. I weighed less than 10 minutes the cashier calls me and to my surprise all three are available no explanation no conversation just available so I just pay for my stuff and leave. Like I said I have been getting my prescriptions filled with Bartells for years however in the future I will not have my prescriptions filled here nor at any of their locations or Rite Aid since that is a new ownership, I will gladly take my business and families business elsewhere. Learn to have some empathy learn to have some manners and learn how to communicate with clients at the end of the day you're working because of us if it wasn't for us that would be no job! read more

07/08/21 communication at this location is nonexistent. Had RX called in this morning around 8/9am. Went to pick up RX at 6ish this evening. Told it's not ready but will be ready in 20 mins. Left and came back 2 hours later and waited another 30 mins in the waiting area only to be told that it hasn't even been started and there are other RX ahead of me that needs to be filled. Then they proceeded to tell me they are understaffed and can't get to it til tomorrow. What the....Hello!? Why didn't your damn staff say that in the beginning?! If you can't fulfill the RX why not say it instead of playing this waiting game. Wasted my time going there to wait on nothing when I could have it filled at another location. read more

I had a harrowing experience in the Bartell Drugs pharmacy , the pharmacy "manager" Rhonda ( Rayna), doesn't know what she is doing , gave me a run around for 3 straight days for my child's medication. The pharmacy already started the authorization of the medication and this so called manager told me that the medication cannot be refilled , I called the prescribing center and they said that the authorization has been given to the pharmacy. But the "pharmacist " and her crew mocked me saying that how can they do that !! Finally after a lot of mental harassment for me they said they can process it . It was the most disturbing, difficult experience with the manager and her staff there . Definitely changing pharmacies. She should know that she has a job because people like me send the prescription to the pharmacy. The pharmacy manager is definitely not fit for this job , with her high , mighty unnecessary attitude and tantrum. And to top it all she is a racist !! Don't even want to comment on that . I've used other locations of Bartell Drugs for prescriptions for years but the poor service at this location prompted me to go elsewhere. I'm really not looking for much when it comes to a Pharmacy. I expect the basics: -Have my insurance on file so you can charge them for my prescriptions. -When giving me my prescription, tell me what kind of medicine it is (I have 2 prescriptions so I need to know that I'm picking up the right one). -When I start a new prescription, offer me counseling on how to properly take it and potential side effects/interactions. -When I ask you to refill my prescription, please make sure you actually follow through and take care of it. This location seems to be able to do none of these things. It seems a bit dangerous and irresponsible to just hand someone a bottle of pills without telling them what they are and how to properly use them. Also, my doctor faxed over a prescription refill about 5 days ago, but the pharmacy seems to have lost it so now I'm scrambling to get a refill because I'm completely out. And just telling me the full amount of the cost without asking if I have insurance is poor customer service. I shouldn't have to remind you to ask me. I'm pretty sure it's the pharmacies main job to give people the correct medication on time but this location can't seem to get that done. read more

Love our local Bartell's over the nationwide chains due to the simple facts that they have a good selection of essentials and are always friendly and willing to help. They are conveniently located next to QFC so I can hop over to both stores for any essentials. Bartell favorites include: - local items (which are clearly marked). How things change. I've had it with rude pharmacists at Bartell's and tonight is the last straw. I called the pharmacy, pressed zero to speak with someone and a woman answered the phone, "Bartell pharmacy will you please hold". "Sure", I said. Three songs later and still on hold, interspersed with the phone ringing a few times then music again, I decided that I had been forgotten, so I hung up and called again. Pharmacy answers, this time I pay attention to the persons name, Nichole, and tell her what just happened. "Oh, what do you want"? Had dear Nichole said, I'm sorry that happened, how can I help you, that would've been the end of it. But she didn't. So I gave her a 2nd chance to apologize for either her (I didn't pay attention to the name on the first call) or one of her co-workers mistake. So I said, I was on hold for quite awhile, she said, "what do you want". Wow. Terrible customer service. It's so easy just to say, I'm sorry that happened, but she just couldn't do it. She was busy, I was irritating her and there was no way in hell she was going to apologize. I've come across rudeness many times at the pharmacy but always tried to ignore it because it's so convenient, but this is the next to the last straw. I'm not sure what is going on with Bartell's since the family sold. There were hiccups at the start when the take over happened and that i can expect but the pharmacy is just in shambles even today. NEVER any staff ALWAYS 20-30 minute line, no floor staff to jump in and help and i do not think they account very well on the medicine they give out. So i get a message that my medicine is ready to be picked up, so i wait in line today 20 minutes get to the counter and the lady gets my medicine and goes to ring it up and guess what, I cannot have it because it has not been delivered yet to the store, it will be delivered tomorrow, but the medicine is in her hands, my name is on the bottles, its my medicine but i cannot have it and i need to wait for another call to tell me i can get it because they do not know when they will receive it. Oh and by the way one of the medicines they are giving me i have "i don't know how many bottles in my medicine cabinet" but the one i am out of they are saying they gave me 3 months worth which they plainly have not otherwise i would still have some. So Bartell's (Rite AID) you have wasted 1 hour of my day off that i will never get back because of your incompetence with the left hand not talking to the right hand. MR BARTELL must be turning in his grave watching you kill a fantastic local brand that was all about customer service. I have been using the Bartells on 132nd Silver Firs for 3yrs now It was good friendly new what the were doing now since RITE AID bought them its been hell don't fill your prescription rude and NEVER answer their phones ! The last time it was a nightmare took me 21/2 hrs. to fill one was sent to other store and they couldn't fill it because it was not released properly by the 132nd store they would not even answer phones from other Pharmacists had to drive back to them and tell them to ANWER THEIR PHONES ! HORRIBLE my suggestion is if you cant fill patients prescription properly then you should shut down your pharmacy until you straighten the issues out ITS PEOPLES HEALTH YOUR DEALING WITH ! This has been our family pharmacy for over 6 years and we have always been very happy with the service until the last couple of months. It went from great, friendly and fast service to absolutely horrendous. We have tried to pick up multiple prescriptions that used to only take a couple of hours in the past and are now taking days to get which is totally unacceptable. It seems like the pharmacists and staff we saw for years there and knew our family are all gone. We are switching immediately to another pharmacy which is considerably farther from our home.
