Went to the Lake Stevens store today to check out the difference between this location and the one we usually visit. It is a bigger store and they had actual people in the electronics area to help answer questions which is lacking in our usual store. The exit is smaller and they have the return area right next to the door so on a busy day the area gets very crowded with people trying to leave and come in for returns. Also the person checking the receipt (I don't know why they have to do this) was holding up the line as they were literally counting every item and checking them off your receipt so if someone had a lot of items it took a long time to leave. Also the people in the returns area were yelling at the people trying to leave telling them to get in an imaginary line. We will not be going back to this location. read more

I returned the Kirkland BBQ Burnt Ends because I grabbed the wrong item. I've tasted them before and they had absolutely no flavor. When I explained that to Brandy, she cut me off with, "We will have to throw this away." Why she thought I needed that commentary is beyond me. What Costco does with returned food is not my concern -- I'm there for a refund, not an operations briefing. Pharmacy was charging me Costcos drug price and not using my insurance for three months and didn't tell me costing me a lot of money. Called the pharmacy and they immediately put me on hold. They told me my medication would be ready the next day. It wasn't ready and they didn't even have my prescription. I ran out of essential medication I've been on for ten years. Compared to the costco locations in Issaquah and Southcenter, this one is easier to park at and get in and out of. Costcos inventory during the holidays is amazing. Check out the videos and pictures of it. I also took some pictures of specific deals that you might be interested in. A couple of the videos are me interacting with the sample people. I love getting samples! I am always nice to them to. Instead of just grabbing them and walking away I say thank you. PRO TIP when you enter and know what you want, you can get to the back of the costco sometimes quicker by hugging the left wall behind the isles and walk all the way down to the bakery area. PRO tip: stick with a shopping list and then once you have gotten all that in your cart, start to browse to avoid overspending. And always remember, there is a specific strategy regarding the layout of costco. This is why the end caps change all the time. I have recently changed my pharmacy from Bartell's to Costco. So far they have been very helpful. I scheduled a vaccine and it went remarkably well. This review is in regards to the Eye Care clinic and glasses counter. We had an excellent experience today when my six year old son needed his first real eye exam and subsequently, glasses. We were initially helped by Austin, who was extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. Once at the clinic, we saw Dr. Thompson, who was everything you'd hope for in a clinician who was evaluating your small child. She was calm, kind, patient, and knowledgeable, explaining everything, and answering my questions. Once at the glasses counter, we were helped by Keri, who was just the nicest person to work with. She helped us find two great pairs, and measured my son to make sure he got the perfect fit. She was so helpful, even checking my coverage with our insurance first. We really appreciated her guidance and assistance. We will definitely be returning to Costco when we need vision care again! read more

I bought 4 winter tires in December 2022. Two days ago, one of my tires blew out. I went to this location to see if the warranty would cover it since it was blown out. The technician called me after 20 minutes to start lying that this is not covered and the maximum they can give me is $17 and offered to change all of them for almost $600. The damage was on the tire's side, not on the bottom of the tire, and that happened in the middle of the road, but at that Costco, they don't want to get covered; instead, they started saying that my car tires have not been rotated anyway. After I canceled my membership, they gave me a copy of the report from the technician. The report is full of wrong information anyway. I disputed some recent charges to get my money back. Don't buy from Costco; stay away. They're liars, and their customer service is zero. read more

Service & Quality has been waiting for quite a while now. As a matter of fact, the only reason to have a membership is for their return policy, which they have narrowed through the years. My main current complaint is about their rude employees and poor managers. Now, we can add their pharmacy. HORRIBLE. Costco's return policy is nice longer a goid enough reason to keep shopping there. Their mistake began with hiring welfare recipients, at Obama's insistence. Back then, no one that wasn't on the dole could get a job at Costco. At the time, I was told the government (taxpayers) were footing half of the salaries. That was the deal. Well, fast forward to today, and we see how well the bussiness did, NOT! Costco prices were $20 cheaper than Les Schwab with the promotional coupon going. This price included the tires, install, disposal and service. Tires need to be paid for at time of ordering. It took one day to get our tires in. We received a phone call once our tires had arrived. Once the tires were in stock we were able to schedule an install appointment. Install took one hour. There are a few dedicated tire center parking spots near the tire center to park in. Once parked you need to check-in at the tire center. We received a phone call once our install was complete. We picked up our keys at the tire center. Our car was parked behind the tire building ready to go. Thank you Costco for providing top quality products and outstanding customer care. read more

I shop at this Costco pretty often especially since the one in Lynnwood is super busy always. There is always parking close enough the store entrance and the carts are always stocked and ready to go. The checkout is sometimes tedious as there aren't always a lot of people to help but other than that it's easy to find stuff read more

I'll admit, I probably love Costco a little more than the next person. Lately, I've found myself here nearly every week checking out the new items and sales. This location is only a few minutes from me so this is my go to for a lot of my groceries. It's hard to beat their prices on meat, cheese, and honestly pretty much everything else. This store has always been pretty clean, I can't really recall any time there was a mess in the store. One of my favorite things is to look through the tables of clothes to check out what's new. It seems like there are always employees working on keeping everything nice and folded so it always looks great. I love that they've added self checkouts recently. The line usually goes a little faster since people with smaller carts tend to go through them. It's prevented a lot of waiting in the past. There is always at least one person hanging around to help in case something happens and they're quick to help out too. The employees are all super nice, I really can't think of a time I've had a bad interaction with anyone here. And of course we stop at the food court for the best meal $1.50 can buy! The pizza is also great and I JUST recently had my first Chicken Bake - delicious of course! Just bring your patience, especially on weekends. read more

Headed out of Seattle and we got the call--can you pick up a resupply? It was from the home base on the San Juan islands where groceries, in any kind of bulk, will cost you. So we got off the freeway and pulled up to this Costco for gas and copious amounts of fruit and cheese. They had most everything we were looking for, but being Costco noobs, we actually didn't know the layout especially well and had to find our way around haphazardly. The good news is, they weren't metering entry. The bad news is, they weren't metering entry. There are only a few truths I know in life, chief among them is this: Don't shop at Costco on a Saturday. I violated this and paid the price of a long line and zigzagging to avoid other carts. Kudos though for providing hand sanitizer and ensuring everyone has a mask on. All told, a successful resupply and we were back on the road headed to the ferry terminal. read more

Lately it's a bit busier here and it has felt a little crowded, so you definitely want to scope out the less busy times especially with COVID. Out of all the times I've visited Costco today was the absolute worst customer service experience I've encountered. I waited patiently in line to be serviced and watched her assist every customer pleasantly Not sure if it's because I was the only POC ( Person of Color ) in line but cashier Op #93 Margo was very rude upon me initially greeting her before ringing my items I was ignored with no eye contact she just scanned all my items and slide them across aggressively to be packed up by the younger lady assisting her . Once purchase was complete I went to extend my hand for my receipt and she slams it down on the counter near scanner for me to reach over to pick up instead of having the common decency to hand it to me and proceeded to speak and scan the next customers items along with a greeting and eye contact . I've had better service with a smile at Walmart I'm not sure if I'm the first to encounter this behavior from her or others but I sure hope I'm the last . Aside from that found all the items I needed and prices were decent I'll still continue to shop here because one bad apple doesn't spoil the bunch. read more

A huge thank you to Kevin in the tire dept for easing my pain of spending over $1100 in tires. Had a major blow out last night and couldn't take dealing with these tires I bought from a competitor so I ended up replacing all 4 of them and making my mind at ease. Kevin was extremely friendly and gave a thorough explanation of the tires with no BS and up sell lies. The tires were on the higher end but because he was truthful and honest I had no problem spending the extra bucks because out of 4 shops I went to today he was the only one that didn't fabricate tire capabilities. I'm extremely happy with my new shoes for my truck and will definitely be buying tires from Costco from now on. Only regret was that I didn't buy tires from Costco earlier ! A screw penetrated the rim on my AWD, so I had to replace all four tires. My husband called Costcos in our area and talked with Charles in Everett. He found the last 4 in the store and put our name on them, and then made an appt for the next day. When I arrived, no one was at the tire sales desk, so Norris from another department came over to help. He found the tires, charged my card, took my fob and told me it would be about an hour wait.
